After almost 5 weeks, my flooring is complete.We were told the floor install would take a week, week and half tops. Read on…..The first two weeks the installer brought his 11 yr old son everyday to work. WHY? What is this kid doing in my house while the floor is being done? Someone please check his insurance policy to make sure it covers his minor children.The installer usually showed up between 11-11:30 and left between 4-5pm. My clients and staff got the biggest laugh out of trying to predict when he’d show up. When I say laugh, they thought it was a joke.Installer packs up after two weeks and announces he’s going on vacation….in the middle of a job?! No communication from CW or the installer ahead of time. My main floor is basically unusable during this time and no one thought to let us know? Shameful way to do business.Not once in almost 5 weeks did anyone call us to see how it was going. After that long, don’t you want to know what your installer is doing?When I contacted CW, they told me they’d make it right. Two weeks later and still no communication from them. I have 2 more floors that need to be done. Guess who I will NOT be calling for flooring.

Our installer, Gary, was absolutely fantastic.He came in and single-handedly completed a job that should have been assigned at least one more guy.Gary was professional, friendly, hard-working, easy to get along with, and didnt quit until the job was completed.

Gary is a very good-natured and highly experienced installer. He did a great job installing our new Mohawk carpet! He and his assistant were fast and capable workers. Our bedroom/walk-in closet setup is tricky for carpeting, but Gary made sure seems were minimized and placed in the best possible way for traffic and low visibility. We love our new carpet! Thanks to Sue for helping us select it, to and Gary and his assistant for a great installation!

I have had many opportunities to shop at the warehouse carpet store over the years and have never had a bad experience. On one occasion the carpet that my wife and I purchased, and had expertly installed, developed a run and we call the store to inquire what we could do. We were informed that the textile mill had identified a manufacturing defect, and the carpet was under warranty. The Warehouse completely replaced it. This company totally stands behind its products and its as 4-star reputation is well earned.During or latest carpet purchase, (everything wares out), we were helped in the store by knowable people and the carpet install went flawlessly. Gary Stab, the installer, did a great job and is truly an ambassador for the Warehouse Carpet store in Johnson City. Hes the last person you see and his work is on display for the life of the carpet. He is punctual, detail orientated, and listens to the customer. If we need carpet in the future, I hope Gary will be the one installing it.

During the shopping for, purchase of our product and review of our job we found our salesman Dave M. to be very helpful and knowledgeable. We ended up having our our kitchen, dining area, back entry way, closet, landing area, bath and small area around a Napoleon fireplace done with Mohawk luxury vinyl and it looks great! Base was finished off with cove molding and quarter round. The installers, Bob and Natalie were very meticulous, neat and very easy to communicate with during entire install. We would have (or request them) for any future installations of flooring. My wife and I love it.

We just had our bedroom carpet installed. It looks great! The installer was very nice and did a fantastic job. We would highly recommend Warehouse Carpet and definitely would want the same installer to do future carpeting installation in our home. We had a larger carpet project completed in our home earlier this week. It included a bedroom and a more complicated layout of stairs w/ stringers, closets and hallway. Our installer, Gary and his team of one, showed up promptly when scheduled and were not only quick and efficient with the tear out, but did an absolutely beautiful job with the installation of the new carpet. Their clean up was also very thorough and certainly left my home more beautiful than when they arrived! I found Gary to be very professional, personable and very easy to work with. Love Mohawk carpet! We did our living room. We had weather delays but finally had the install. A defect was found in the carpet. We were given options for the install. We decided on one way but the installer talked us into another way. Mistake! Long story made short, beautiful carpet, bad install. Now as you walk into our living room you notice the seams. Warehouse Carpet not very sensitive to our situation. Our next purchase will be somewhere else.

Let me start by saying we wanted wool carpet for our stairs and I believe they tried their best to make that happen in a market where that is very rare. We ended up with Karastan St. Johns Isle in Marina and it is beautiful. The manager Jason made sure we ended up with the carpet that met all our needs. Our sales rep did what she could with the knowledge she had about wool carpets to make our experience a positive one. Our carpet installer, helped us but then installed a slightly crooked carpet on our landing. So all in all I hope to not buy carpet for a long time though I know I will have to sooner than Id like and I will probably come back to warehouse carpet. In the meantime the carpet seems to suit our children and dog quite well.

Gary and the team did a great job with the removal of old carpet and the install of our brand new carpet upstairs! Installers are very friendly and were responsive to correcting some issues. In the end, the carpet and re-stretch areas turned out well and we are pleased. The purchase experience took some time to work through the pricing details and changes...but we eventually got through it. Overall, Customers need to know that installing new carpet is a hassle due to furniture moving; but it’s not something you do very often and the end result will turn out just fine. We are happy with how things worked out.

I recently bought and had installed vinyl flooring in my kitchen. i am very happy with the flooring but the installation is horrible. Two tears at two different corners. I did not get any satisfaction when i called for an explanation. They wanted to send the same installer back stating it was the only installer they had. If he couldnt do it correctly the first time, why would i want him back. If you are looking for them to install, perhaps, you should go somewhere else. I wont be back.

We replaced our old area rug of 10 years(also from warehouse carpet) with a new one. Old one still looked great but the new dog decided it was time for a new one. Everyone at warehouse carpet was extremely helpful and great to work with. Took the time to make sure we got exactly what we needed! Have a huge selection of styles and colors. Have used them before and will again. Everytime we go there we walk away happy!

Never any pressure while shopping. And so much to select from. I enjoy buying remnants for my mudroom there too.

The estimator that came out Gene was a great guy, but this company completely tried pulling one over my eyes with what they measured for square footage and my quote which was robbery. Do yourself a favor and take your own measurements or take your business else where.

Great place overall. Communication to customer could use some improvements, my wife and I were just getting ready to discuss cancel our order. Installation crew could use some improvements...I dont take it lightly when someone is rude to my wife I side our own home. I do like warehouse carpet, but its up in the air if we would go back.

Warehouse carpet is an amazing store. It is 20000 square feet and has everything. as soon as you walk in the door if youre greeted by friendly staff. They are there to help you with any questions but its not a stuffy atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place anybody looking for flooring

I was looking up reviews of places to decide on where to buy carpet and I think Jason Griffin might be an employee of warehouse carpet in binghamton. Is the person that wrote the review the same person that works at warehouse carpet there? Why would an employee write a review of their own company? Are other people who wrote reviews employees? Seems very shady. Not sure it’s a good sign if employees have to write reviews of their own company...kinda like fake Twitter accounts.

I tried to buy local for a project but it took 36 hours to get call back and they didnt answer my question when they left me a return voicemail (killed the deal for me as I dont play phone tag). It was a basic question that could have been answered if they had their inventory on their web page.
