I’m obsessed with this restaurant. Freshly oven-baked bread (I already LOVED this restaurant even before the starter because of this), great food cooked in proper grill, oven and recipes. Not a tourist trap, but a taverna where hospitality and hardworking kitchen team together make great ambience and amazing village dining. Highly recommended.
Very pretty taverna in Liapades. Theres a few along this stretch of street but this was our favourite. It was busy (a good sign) but we got a table straight away. The service was excellent but the food did take a long time to arrive. I am always happy to forgive all if the food is good and has clearly been cooked from fresh - it was on both counts. My girlfriend and I had the seafood platter which was huge and delicious (although I did feel guilty snorkelling with the little fishes the next day) but all in all, a very nice dinning experience and very reasonably priced.
Not recommended if you have children. The staff showed no understanding to families with small children. They could easily ban kids from their restaurant and end the story there. The second star is meant for the pizza, which was good/acceptable. Personally I would not be visiting this restaurant again, there are so many others in the area.
We ordered seafood. Calamari was top but the dish size of octopus was a joke for 17 euro ...avoid ordering that. Taste and quality was good. Waitress was not able to deal with our complain and made the visit unpleasant.
The place is stormed with beatles that land in your food, the one star is because the pizza is actually good. The waitress was extremely rude and dismissive, absolutely horrible with children as well. There are so many other places in the area that offer much better food and such lovely service that we will NEVER go to this one again. BEST TO AVOID.
Huge portions, the biggest of all places we ate in Corfu. Pizza is huge and delicious, even the next day. Local vibe, but the service could have been more friendly

Very big portions for half the price than in paleokastritsa. Small pizza is like a big one in other places and lamb chops were huge too. Located in a small quiet town. Overall great price, quality and location.
If it would be possible to give zero rating it would be suitable. Sooo stupid staff there 👌 The guy gave us menu but after 30 minutes he did not come to order (not even drinks)... But he had time to take order from people who came 20 minutes after us 🤷♀️ So we left hungry and angry to another taverna.... Thanks god, the leaving from there was the best idea

Definitely not the place to enjoy greek food (and Pizza too, btw)It wasnt exactly bad, but it was just really average as compared to the other restaurants in the neighbourhood.I think the reason is that they dont use many fresh ingredients: canned tomatoes, mushrooms and supermarket herbs. Also the tzatziki had a ton of garlic and obviously based on a cheaper yoghurtWe were quite disappointed :(
My rating would be 3,5 here.Prices are ok.The Pizza is good.The ambiente is nice.Maybe i ordered the wrong dish but it was not great. It was not tasting bad. But somehow i expected a bit more from the taste.However if you like Pizza that might be your place.Ps. When they say medium pizza... then its allready bigger that a big pizza somewhere else.
Not a great experience I ordered the salmon and I don’t think it was salmon, the food was served 30 mins after my partner had his. The staff were too busy to tend to people . Disappointed

One of the best pizza in corfu
We stopped at this resturant for a quiet meal. The food was exceptional with lvely attentive service. I ordered shrimp and grilled Kalamari. What arrived can only be described as art on a plate. I took a photo and should Theo’s site allow me to post it, I will. Definitely one not to miss. It’s a family owned and run place. I would go again. Swordfish steak platter. Beautifully cooked!
Absolutely the best pizza I have ever eaten and believe me I have eaten loads of pizza.Extremely friendly and helpful which appears to be a family run business.A definite MUST eat if you are anywhere near this restaurant 😉

Excellent food! At least what we tried... The oven baked aubergines were exquisite, the village pizza fabulous, and the homemade bread brought a tear of joy in our bread-lovers eyes. My partner served swordfish, which he liked, and I had some chicken pasta from Mamas specialities. Maybe a bit of a disappointment came from the oven baked feta, which was good, but not even comparable with what the neighbouring taverna is serving. I recommend the white wine carafe, whereas I wouldnt recommend it from the neighbouring tavern hehe... Finally, the staff is kind of cold... And she suddenly became a sweetie when the time of tipping was approaching lol. All in all its quite a cute place, we stood inside but the giant windows were all open so it was basically just like staying outside, just much chilly - soooo good after a morning of melting in the sun.
Its one of those overrated places, mainly visited by tourists, who appreciate any food after a long day on the beach. Most of our food was OK (nothing spectacular) but its really shocking that a Greek restaurant anywhere in the country would not even serve a proper tzatziki - it was just a chunk of yougurt, there were two pieces of cucumber and not enough garlic and salt. And no Greek desserts at all - just ice cream (from a box) and chocolate souffle, I mean its supposed to be a Greek village taverna with Greek food, right? So where is the Greek food? Maybe the highly rated pizza has a Greek touch.lol

A nice restaurant in the village Liapades, was a good venturing out from palaiokastritsa. Wonderful outdoor seating, cozy environment and some good food (particularly the pizza are big in quantity). The breads were made freshly and served warm.
Fantastic value. Enormous pizza, full of flavour. Staff will provide a box if you cant finish the large (€12). Red wine was also very good and very well priced. Would recommend.
Good place to eat in Liapades. Huge pizzas and delicious home made bread at the start of your meal. Food is good but nothing spectacular. Service is friendly but can get slow when the restaurant is full. IF you are not in the hurry, everything is good. If you expect everything in a hurry, you will not be happy. Baked aubergines are really nice :-)
Very good grilled lamb chops and sea food. Service did manage to be professional with our kids all over. + Local wine and nice memories in good price.
The menu is a mix of traditional Greek and international food (pizza and so on). Service was very friendly, atmosphere was nice and prices were reasonable.

This place reminded me of a wonderful Disney film. Unfortunately, that film was Frozen. There may be some fresh food on the menu, but many items are just store bought and prepared. Chips were frozen. Vegetable medely was from a bag. None of the seafood was fresh... All frozen. If you have dreams of a great Greek meal, let it go and find somewhere else. In all fairness, the pizza was decent.
Really nice place. Big portions and good prices. We tried the Saginaki (fried cheese, amazing), chicken souvlaki and a large pizza (its really huge). Has its own parking area. Highly recommended 🙂

Very similar to other places on the beach. I don’t understand that they have such high grades.Since it was the first place we went we made the mistake of ordering grilled squid. It was frozen, very thick, waiting for more than one beach spot. The Greek salad was good (better than the surrounding places).Nice terrace. Correct service. Prices similar to nearby places.
Go 1 star for the setting which is pretty but the rest .... my husband received his pasta dish 25 minutes before our pizzas. No excuse for the wait. He ordered gnocchi with creamed chicken and received a penne gratin. Okay ... the pizzas which are normally their specialties seemed very appetizing at first glance but they were bland and tasteless. For the long wait I expected something good. Too much cheese, too salty ingredients which completely spoiled the dough which in itself was not so bad. The service is poor and poorly organized. What a shame on the part of a waiter to have installed 2 young ladies at the table when the table was not cleared and the cutlery and dirt from the previous people were still on the table. 5 min for someone to come and put a clean table for them. And yet waiters passed by, blowing the wind or tidying up empty tables. Frankly go your way
We took a mixed grill of fish..total disappointment! Fish absolutely not fresh and the menu did not mention that it was frozen. The swordfish stank as well. Reported to the waiter but pretended nothing happened. Definitely not recommended for fish!We know that the main dish here is the meat but the fish that stinks two meters from the sea .. bah
We had huge portions that would have been enough for 2 people. The service was very nice and friendly. Didnt make our meal but they packed it up for us. Still, there was a little something on the house at the end. Strongly recommended
