The hot food court always saves time and reasonably priced. Staff are cool. Had one that had an attitude, but hey I gave them grace because they may have been having a bad day. Hey, you know who you are, if things are on your mind, Im cool to talk to. I see people every day too. Take some time and think of the good you are doing. I still appreciated you handing me my food. I meant when I said God bless you. And for real, its OK not to be ok sometimes.

Its an average Ingles at best. It seems like they have a hard time keeping certain things stocked, especially vegetables. The last time I went in, there was no broccoli, no asparagus, no cauliflower, and almost entirely out of lettuce and greens. And Ive found that the greens arent always the best quality. Their lettuce is usually rough looking, and the last time I bought a head it ended up being rotten inside.Prices are okay. Its not cheap but its not quite in the overpriced territory, although Im almost certain many things have gone up in price recently.The store is always clean, however, and shelves seem to be well organized, albeit somewhat empty at times. I dont really have to interact with the employees, but they seem friendly enough. And the Starbucks is always a plus, as well as the attached gas station.Overall, its serviceable, but could easily be improved if it were stocked better and had a significantly better selection of vegetables and greens.

Ingles has a wonderful salad bar, but I must say it was poorly cared for on our last visit. Food on the floor, only one kind of container. Just messy. The store itself is one of our favorites for good prices and even s hot food counter.

They have a pretty big selection of products. I enjoy the aisle that has different food choices such as the Asian section.Its clean and generally well stocked.The only down side is their prices are expensive. If youre looking for a cheap deal its not going to be here.

Deplorable, no one there to help, merchandise all over but not in its correspondent place, sometimes, no better than a flea market, on many of this stores theres no wine or beer. We have these type of stores in California we call them Yuppie stores. If youre the type of person who likes to buy name brand foods and wont be caught dead buying a generic brand this is the place for you.

The pharmacists are the nicest, most helpful professionals youd ever want to meet. They are the whole reason I come all the way across town to shop there

A beautiful well managed and well groomed lake with some great fishing.

Constantly out of products months on end . Sales items out of stock frequently. Managment seems not to care, repeated times asking about why. They spent a lot money last few years to update the store, but forgot to train their staff. Looking forward to a Publix opening with their typical great service.

I love this place! It always smells so good, like fresh produce and baked goods. There is such a huge selection of any kind of food you could think of. I can literally spend hours in there. The employees are friendly and helpful. It is a little more expensive on some items, but its so much nicer, cleaner and has 100x more items to choose from than the competition almost across the rd. Also, everything I have ever purchased from the deli/bakery is AMAZING!!!

OMGosh!!! VICTORY in the cat food aisle!!! After searching for weeks in South JC, where I reside, I took the plunge & drive 6 miles to the Ingles in North JC, almost to the intersection of Roan & Boones Creek.My fiesty 🐈 feline 🐈, who is a 3 y.o rescue, is PICKY PICKY about her wet food. I actually had weaned her off the wet stuff the first year, but during her 2nd annual vet visit, he wanted her back on a minute amount to help with hydration because @ the time, she was drinking little water.During the pandemic, apparently Purina pet food warehouses are running low on certain pet foods. At this Ingles, there as a letter hanging in front of the cat food shelves, detailing the problem. I had been @ 3 different retailers, couldnt find this 1 pate entree, nor could any manager explain the shortage. I took every can on the shelf because thats what the label read, so #-/?$ amt. I even splurged on 2 cans of the more expensive brand + treats. Needless, to say, my little Faith was in purr heaven with her evening meal. Thank you Ingles!!

The meat department in Ingles is the best of any of the big chain stores. You would be hard pressed to find better beef or pork anywhere without dressing your own.My wife purchased boneless country style pork ribs with almost no excess fat allowing for so many awesome dishes. One of my favorites is this stew (pictured) that will make wonderful leftovers.

I’m a food city member thought I would try out ingles to see how they are the place itself is very clean and they have a lot of food options however beware of the employees they will treat you like a 2 year old without even asking for there “assistance”. This definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. I’ll be sure to let people know to stay away from this store.

If you are a Covid-cautions individual, you will appreciate shopping at Ingles, especially early in the day. Most of their customers are wearing masks, unlike what I see in Kroger or Food City! Their employees are all wearing masks, and not on their chins but actually over their nose and mouth! Their signage is great. Their flow of customers through the store is working well, and they are doing great keeping up their inventory. I am so thankful to be able to shop here.

Whats better than shopping with a fresh Starbucks coffee? A lot of things but it is still a nice treat...store is always clean and organized but you have to watch the dates on items you get. Thats not just at this store but something Ive found to be an issue in the area. Gas points are great and have saved me a ton of money. The folks in the pharmacy are the friendliest Ive run across in a long time.

Ingles is an artfully organized grocer that usually has a large organic produce section, but overall higher prices .

Just had lunch from the deli in Ingles, I was very impressed. I usually have a great lunch there, but not today. The people who work in the deli act like its just horrible that they have to stop what they are doing and make a dinner for you. The most unfriendly people ever. I had some kind of chicken in a sauce because they had no fried chicken, and it was very dry. I also had the yellow rice which was crunchy because it wasnt cooked long enough, not near long enough. I mean I could still eat the food it just wasnt great, but the attitude of the people who work in there are enough to make me not want to go back. The people in McDonalds are more friendly that these people, at least they say thank you instead of snarling at you like you interrupted their day. Wont be back for a while..

Ingles is simply the best. Prices and employees are always fantastic. I never shop anywhere else.

I love this store! People are helpful and friendly. Theyre always willing to help you find what you need. Aisles are wide enough for two carts and small meandering children. Great deli and super fresh salad bar. I buy their ready made sandwiches, love their broccoli soup and cold salads. Their bakery fresh muffins are heavenly and very reasonable, its just hard to choose which ones to get! Extremely clean and well-stocked facility. Vegetables always look lush with a misting to look inviting. Dont forget to check out their flowers and plants outside. I feel good going into this store. Its never just an errand😄.

The produce section is amazing! I am particularly impressed with there being more loose items not wrapped in plastic. I would say that my diet is somewhat sophisticated and i was able to find everything I need at Ingles.

Great prices on food an anything else you need

Nice clean store. But they refuse to adequately staff the registers and they dont care one bit how long the lines are at checkout! I have frequently stood in line at the checkout, while employees stand around doing nothing at the front of the store in the raised glass enclosed office area. Ill drive miles out of my way to avoid shopping here now. Nice employees...but TERRIBLE store management.

Great products

Higher quality higher prices, this location has everything you could need, and a few organic options that you never even knew existed. Words like all natural, vegan, gluten-free, are taken very seriously at this location. And you can still find the Cheetos and frozen corn dogs that you want for the kids. This location has a bakery, the bakery can make you anything you request, just call ahead of time. They also have a deli here, Pharmacy, the pharmacy used to be a movie rental area. And The Butchers will make anything meat related for you. As for places to work I would not recommend this location, I worked as a nightstalker here. The morale of the management staff and even the staff that runs the store in the day is dismal to say the least. Its hard to get people to smile. Its almost like nothing is done for the quality of life of the employees, they just want you to work work work, and they want to save save save money on you. Work at Food City instead. If you have read this entire review Im extremely thankful for people like you! I hope you have an amazing day!

Best grocery store in town! Great selection of foods. Never crowded. Short wait times in line to check out. And the pharmacy is wonderful too! The pharmacy staff is very helpful and friendly and actually have time to educate you about your medicine!

Ingles is a little expensive. And dont have the inventory like Walmart. But one thing they do have is ellios Pizza. My kids will going crazy cuz we could not find any. I know ellios not a really good pizza but they love it. Thats why Im giving them four stars because they have ellios and makes my kids happy.

I think Ingles is definitely improving as a market my only problem in the past they had a lot of old vegetables that were organic that they didnt toss and should have been tossed at least gone down in price if theyre trying to get rid of it but their produce looks a lot fresher now by far and the whole area looks clean to perfection organized well and the whole overall look is getting towards the sheik side with a coziness all around when you walk inside Ingles clean which is very important that plays on the psyche people are very helpful there also

Best supermarket in the area. I dont live in Johnson City but this is my go-to market every visit. They have everything from dog leashes to diapers to first rate chicken salad and the service is excellent.

Went to get gas this morning...first they cant give me change for $100.00, so went inside Gro store and got change. Went back to get gas ....but to get my fuel points I have to physically have my Ingles card as they cant take your phone number like all the other groceries/fuel stores do. So I drove off and went to Food City....Food City can take your phone number to give you your fuel points!

Decent selection, but so nasty. Esp restrooms. A lot of things are never stocked because their genius plan to make things artificially look better is - when something is out of stock, they move a nearby item to fill that spot. The result? Its never restocked, because the people who record what needs to be ordered dont realize its out of stock.Their fruit selection is okay, but the vegetable selection is horrible. Especially with lettuce and such - usually all wilted. The salad bar is good, but I had to stop getting it bc I found bugs in the lettuce. That happens sometimes with lettuce but thats why its so important to look it over thoroughly and not just put it out there.The Ingles brand is also not as good as other genetics Ive tried.

Clean and well maintained store. Easy access entering and leaving the store via N Roan Street. Friendly and helpful employees. Prices may not be as cheap as Wal-Mart or Food City but the convenience makes up for it. This location also has a gas station which is very convenient as well and if you do most of your shopping there you can earn quite a bit of rewards points that you can redeem off of the price per gallon on gas. Nice perk.

The store is always well-kept and well stocked. The staff is always incredibly friendly and have always been happy to assist any time I have sought assistance. The produce section could be a bit larger to provide some additional value, but what the store does have seems to be fresh. Absolutely recommended over other local grocery competitors.

Everything in the store is way OVERPRICED. You can go to other stores and get the items for cheaper. I will never go there again.
