Company / salesperson needs to do a better job of keeping the consumer up to date on delays when they happen. I myself had to call every several weeks to get and update. Install crew were good but need to take better care of protecting the work area. They constantly were laying buckets of tools and a ladder on my original hardwood floors with a tarp sitting off to the side. Also if the crew are going to smoke they should do it at the street by their truck not at my front door which keep in mind was removed due to getting a new door installed. smoke/vaping was coming into the interior of my house.

We are very pleased with the entire process. Ben came out the day after I called to schedule a visit. He answered all of our questions and we were sold with his heat lamp demonstration. It did take several weeks for the windows to be made, but we knew that when we purchased them. The installation guys were very nice and worked very well together. They cleaned up everything and there was no mess. They even made sure my cats didn’t escape when the old windows were removed. We will definitely be going with Best Window and Door Company for all of our future home renovations!

Great experience from start to finish.. our project was bumped by a couple of weeks but we were informed this was happening a few weeks prior to the week of the original install. The installers were great and you could tell they cared about their craftsmanship. We are extremely happy with the installation and functionality of the windows.

We had a new entry door in the front, a new sliding glass door and a new entry door into our garage installed. We couldnt be more pleased with the results. Our installers Fred, who has been with the company for nearly 40 years, and Zack were top notch. Zack was a young man who was very attentive, with a great deal of attention to detail and cheerful. We were very pleased with the quality and installation of our windows.

I ordered 16 Windows from best window last summer. I regret that decision deeply. Most of the little bit that the salesman said was a lie and led to many phone battles. It was a hassle every step of the way. Then come to find out after the install I have windows that arent even energy star rated for my region. Thoroughly disappointed in this company. I would not recommend them at all.

First of all when they showed up they had brought the wrong windows by the time I got there they had already installed two of them (it is a small shop that we need commercial serving windows for) I had told them to bring them back and they said that they would take them out and leave them at their shop but I would have nothing to put back in their place so I had him put the third one in and did not pay them the rest of the money I ( have given them the deposit )they had then came back and said that they would work with me to install a window that would work we agreed saying we had nothing to put in place for the old ones. after 3 weeks they fell apart theyve been to the shop numerous times to fix Springs, and the plastic frames and the last time they came and they brought the wrong Parts after waiting a month. now the owner tells me itll probably be at least another month and he will order extra parts because this will probably happen again and I can fix them do not go to this company. SAVE YOUR MONEY and headaches. We paid over $4000 for 3 windows that are junk

I wish I would have read the reviews before contracting. Shoddy work and even though the workers knew how to correct it, the operation manager wouldnt let them. The sales person will say one thing and deliver another, and then deny what was said. One of the doors is an off color, trim work needs torn up and redone and screen doors slam shut and cant be adjusted. Dont do it! The installers were great and I did get $200 is for the off color door...considering its going to cost me several thousand more to correct it, not much.

The estimators are overzealous they over estimate the job size. I was a subcontractor that was in a major accident the removed my tools from the job without notice and have been giving me the run around for the last 2 months about paying me saying they didnt get paid when that was never a stipulation In any contract that I sighed

We had windows and doors installed in 4 residences two weeks ago. The installers, 4 of them, were very respectful and did a great job. They were neat and made sure my cats didn’t escape.There was a follow up today because of an issue with several window locks. The two guys that came took their boots off before coming into the house. They both were wearing masks too. The best thing is the family on the other side sleeps in so these guys said they would do their other assignment and then come back for them.As for the windows and doors? Fantastic!!!! We had block windows installed in the basement-what a difference!!! I’m sitting in my living room right now with my insulated drapes open and am warmer now than I ever was before.Due to Covid we had to wait a while for our massive project to be completed but we were updated as to when and once they started, they had all 4 residences done within 6 days. There were ALOT of windows, many of them extra large....think old double house in Ferndale and you will know how big.Well worth every cent we invested in this project!

Called Best Window & Door Company on 5/11/2020 to discuss the warranty on their windows we had installed by a private contractor in the early 2000s. The windows were advertised at that time as a Lifetime Warranty. Seven out of eight windows that were installed now leak moisture in between the glass panels. One of the seven was a very expensive sliding patio door. When I spoke with a man in their warranty department, I detected a change in the tone of his voice and conversation when I told him the windows were installed by a private contractor, not one of their installers.He told me that I would have to remove the defective windows and bring them to their shop for inspection, then possibly replacement or repair. Never going to happen in my mind!I then said to him I will shop around and purchase new windows elsewhere. Very snappy okay, with zero concern in his voice.So much for Best window & Door Company.Dave in Salix, PA

Had 4 windows installed 2 years ago enough time has gone by to give honest review. Windows are easy to clean from the inside without the need of high ladders or tools as they swing open from within. Windows glide easy up and down and have security latch so they cannot be opened more than a couple inches when applied. Nice feature when not home.. Needed customer service for a fix on one and had no problem setting up the appointment and having them service it. Screens are nice. Happy with purchase.

Our salesperson was knowledgeable about the products we were interested in and stuck to those items. We werent pressured to look at windows when we were interested in doors. Although they normally review final orders over the phone prior to submitting, they met with us face-to-face at their office to review the order in detail, show us additional sample products, and answer all of our questions. Scheduling was a breeze and our installers were fantastic and professional. They did forget to call us to schedule the gutter installers and we were surprised to come home one day to find ladders and gutters all over our lawn, but the gutter installers did a fantastic job. We were very satisfied for the big dollar investment we made in our home.

I had two projects from Best Window & Door. First job was new front door and custom windows to close in a sun porch. Second job was two security doors. Both experiences were great! Very professional salesman making sure he dialed in exactly what we wanted. The warranty and quality of products is top notch. The knowledgable craftsmen who did the install were quick and made sure I was happy on every step. My front door started an issue where it became hard to close. I called customer support and a carpenter was on site the next morning and made the adjustments to fix the door. Very impressed with customer support and quick response. You will not get this level of craftsmanship, support, and warranty from a big box store. I highly recommend Best Window & Door!

My husband and I wanted to replace two custom-size breezeway doors with sliding glass doors. Best was the only company that could meet our needs - quality, cost and durability. We were sold after the initial consultation. Now, we’re looking forward to installation! We’ve also had Best windows throughout the house for years, and we’re more than pleased with them as well.

We had some windows and a beautiful front door installed about 2 years ago and they have worked out so well we went back to have more windows installed in our home. Our salesman was amazing he really took the time to explain any questions we had. The installers were very professional and worked very clean. We are very happy with our purchase and would highly recommend.

Very poor on their warranty service. If you are fool enough to purchase from this company make sure you read the warranties in detail and dont believe the sales rep. First of all the fabric leaked in the awning from the start. Took two years to get that problem fixed. Then the motor went in the awning. Conveniently they pushed that repair till a 5 year warranty ran out. They wanted to charge them $550 for a motor. I told them they would just use the hand crank to roll in and extend the awning. I was then informed that you cannot use the hand crank if the motor doesnt work. My parents are 80 years old and I feel they were taken advantage of. When calling about problems you will get the runaround. Everyone saying thats not my department Ill leave a message for the persons responsible for that. Simple solution dont buy anything from these people.

I need work done on one of my homes but being out of state it was real hard finding a company i could trust. I got a hold a Best Window and Door Company. Wow what great service. Everything i was told would be done was done. The process was fast and easy. What a beautiful up grade to my house. Thank you for all the hard work.

We had a estimate for 7 new windows last summer the gentlemen came and gave us a very high strong sales pitch and tried to get us into a contract ASAP if i remember correctly the price was around $9300 i asked about buy one get one free? He completely ignored that question and when i asked the price per window he couldnt come up with a figure however i am very happy with my window world windows!

We had 26 windows and 1 French door replaced. In the one room we have the six large (floor to ceiling) windows and the French door. The whole room is all tongue&groove pine, walls and ceiling. I repeatedly asked to have wood inside to match (as best as possible) like the previous windows and doors. They said yes, we can do that, of course it will be a lot of extra money.. $5445 to be exact and that was fine as long as I got wood inside and white outside. My paperwork says classic oak inside/white vinyl outside. Exact words. So, installation day comes and they set in the new large windows and ITS NOT WOOD. ITS A SHINY VINYL WRAP MADE TO LOOK LIKE WOOD. Immediately I am on the phone and the representative hears my reason for the call and tells me “we don’t sell real wood.” I respond with that’s what I ordered and was told I would get! They tell me “maybe I should look at my paperwork,” again, says classic oak inside/white vinyl outside. PLEASE tell me how I am to know that “classic oak” is not gonna be real wood and instead a wood wrap!?! Over $30,000 and I get a wrap!?!!!The installers did a absolute beautiful job with it all. Nothing to the best to say about them. Other than, maybe they should work for a better company.As far as for the representative who took my call (can’t remember his name- lucky for him) and the sales rep who came to my house (his name is Jeff) they were very rude and unprofessional after I voiced my dissatisfaction with my windows.I would NOT recommend this company!

Had Best Window & Door replace all our windows and outside doors. They did an excellent job. Their installation crew were very professional and left everything spotless when they were done!! Easy to clean ! I love my windows

One thing I can tell you is that the buy one get one free stuff they advertise is bunch of bologna. They told me I could not have the bogo deal with the other discount I had. Then why do u advertise by one get one free. And also why is there so many exceptions to it. And trust be assured there prices are very high. I didn’t even get buy one get one free on very expensive doors that are probably same stuff Lowe’s sells just different name. Tread carefully dearies else they will hook line and sinker you and the only one that makes out is the salesman on commission.

Very pleased with my purchase. I am very picky and expected quite a bit from the installation crew, however, they exceeded my expectations and did everything I asked them to do. I will definitely be contacting them in the future to do more work.

I was very impressed with the level of customer service. They answered all my questions to my satisfaction and the installation was especially good. Windows are good quality. But the warranty service is terrible. Should have went with another company. Live and learn. Updated: submitted my info on there web page over two weeks ago. Have not heard anything from them. If you are buying their windows for the warranty. Be prepared for terrible service. 8-19-19, still trying to get my screens fixed. I had to take my screens to cambria hardware, and have them fixed at my expense. The lifetime warranty is no good, if the company will not respond to your calls for repair.

If I could give zero stars I would. The service is terrible. Windows are great but not installed properly and wont fix them. Very hard to slide open if at all. Unevenly placed in opening. And large bay window actually moves with wind. Missing screws.

For the most part it was a good experience. The prices were decent and the product isnt bad. The problem I have is that where the doors were installed there was damage to wallpaper and plaster that Im going to have to fix when the weather gets better. Also im going to have to chaulk around the trim where there are gaps thats letting cold air in. Also when I purchased the doors I was told by the salesman and the measurer that my old storm doors would fit.When the installers came they said they wouldnt fit. I ended up buying two new storm doors to be installed in a few months.

God forbid if theres a problem with the product or installation.. you cant get anyone to answer a question, call you back or even send an email. Gutters that were installed are dumping water on to my porch. For 8000 dollars I think I deserve better treatment. If you are going to work in Pittsburgh, put an office in Pittsburgh.

Called for an estimate - they arrived early on the Friday they were scheduled (which was an inconvenience) and they promised an estimate by Monday. Several phone calls and 11 days later.... I finally got an estimate. It was excessively high and despite saying they could get the work done before winter... it appears that was yet another failed promise. TERRIBLE follow through, terrible service. I contacted Home Depot and it was an overall better experience - same day estimate. Great price - great service. We are looking at getting siding now too.
