Great deals! Large store full of a variety of useful merchandise and groceries.

At the time I needed to get an emergency contraceptive, and the cashier looked at me and my boyfriend while checking out and told us to have fun. Will not go shopping here again, and your coworkers need to understand the situation first.

Its a typical Super Walmart. All the checkout places are self checkouts. Honestly its not bad. I recently moved here and had to ask two different clerks questions about item locations and they were courteous.

Coming here is always hit or miss. Sometimes youre greeted when you come in, sometimes you arent. Sometimes you find what youre looking for instantly, sometimes you cant find it using the app (and if you ask an employee, sometimes you find someone pleasant who helps you look & sometimes youre lucky to get an Its over there grunt. Sometimes you get lucky & check out is quick, other times, hopefully you grabbed lunch at the deli.Customers - same thing. Some are pleasant, others, well Ill just say watch out.Unfortunately, this is the only major retailer thats local. I will say any time Ive done an online order, items were correct & done when I was to pick them up.The high point - theres a wine store located in the front of the store that if the visit was too stressful, you can grab a bottle so you can de-stress at home!As for the photo - product placement is everything! Lighters in the childrens bedding 🤔

Had to wait for the jewelry sales person finally came after the 2nd attempt of pushing the button for service

Love being able to go to one place and take care of it all. This walmart is pretty great with keeping the shelves stocked. The store is very clean and organized. The store itself is set up differently than the one we normally shop, so it takes me awhile to find things but they make it pretty easy to find what your looking for with big signs that hang from the ceiling over each area. And to make sure you have a great shopping experience the employees are very friendly and ever ready to help you find what you need.

It was a very busy place. Found everything we were looking for. The clerks are always friendly.

Pretty typical Walmart. Choose the pharmacy because of Walmart network access when we travel. Best store feature: VERY clean, not like alot of others I have been to.

This store is ridiculous. Its ran by people with no care about the customers. I know this because Ive worked there. Their online grocery sucks and needs better management. This is the third time they messed up my order and I had to call to cancel it. Never doing this again!

I used to do my shopping outside of your current hours because of my work schedule. I get it. I work in healthcare. You need to clean.I have needed to do more shopping when your online order fillers are shopping. I find most of them quite rude. They cut in front of you without a word and do not even attempt to move out of the way when they are clearly in the middle of the aisle. Nor do they pay attention to where they are pushing their carts nearly running over shoppers.Will I stop shopping there? Probably not completely but I do shop elsewhere more often.

They always have what I need. The store is neat & clean. I have also used the pick-up service when Im in a hurry & I enjoy that whole process! Keep up the good work Walmart staff!

Everything was in order despite a million people in there. The staff was very courteous in directing me where to go. The man working the layaway was super helpful also. I had a huge order and he didnt mind like other stores seem to. I had to look on my app to see which aisles all of mybitems were in, they are Christmas presents so I was scatter brained and everything was exactly where the app said it would be.. Above all else, everything was clean and sanitized!!

Johnstown Walmart lost 3 shoppers, we will never shop there again. While shopping on Tuesday, October 5th, a female shopper with 2 juvenile boys, I guess were between 8 and 10 years old, ignored her children at the checkout counter while they smashed bags of candy in the isles. Then proceeded to throw plastic cups full of gum at people, almost hitting my special needs daughter. This lady acted like it was normal behavior for kids to act like that. That creates a hazzard for elderly shoppers. I watched as Walmart employee had to get down on her hands and knees and clean up the mess. Where is security, why didnt an employee say something to the woman, to control her children. I will not take the chance of my daughter getting hurt because of of negligent parent. This is not the first time I was shopping that this same woman allowed her children to destroy and throw things, while employees coward, until Walmart stops this type of behavior in their store, I refuse to shop there.

I avoid shopping at Walmart for these reasons: poor quality in every area, the store isnt clean, poor service and the being followed is completely unnecessary at the level it is. I leave feeling like I just paid for all this why? So if Im there its out of having to be there because no other store had what I needed at the time and I couldnt wait for Amazon. Its such a shame, I go to Target and really enjoy myself that sometimes Im just there looking, Walmart it is dreadful

Very nice place to shop, but, need more electric carts.

This walmart always seems dirty and too many people. Your lucky if you get an employee that knows their job.

It was really busy and a lot of checkout lanes were closed No where to sit in store especially for people with mobility problems selection good sales person nice

It seems wherever Im at, the Walmart in that area, is the same great merchandise, great meats and produce. And the workers are polite and respectful, friendly an give you excellent courtesy. Im a customer for life.

I like the Great Value brand, from the Supercenter. They have good quality.

OMG. This Walmart is awesome. Its huge. Shelves are stocked completely. You can grocery shop, everyday shop, gift shop, everything is right there. Nothing is behind lock and key like Maryland Walmarts. They have a hair salon, bank, eatery, vision place, nail place and omg they sell wine, and not only sell wine, you can taste the wine first. Really nice woman behind the counter. This really is a one stop shop. I was really impressed with how stocked all the departments were, again unlike Maryland where everything is mostly empty. I feel like the MD Walmarts arent even trying. This place is amazing!

Dont have a problem with anything in store other than Deli dept. 90% of the time you have wait in line for a long period because they only have one employee behind counter.

They are good with some things but alway out of stock with a lot of other things.

Went for a particular brand of phone. They tried steering me off to something else which was a lesser quality. I also called them on the phone wanting a particular brand of phone they refuse to let me know if it was there and told me Id have to come in. All in all Im happy with the store itself Im not particularly happy with the electronics part of it.

I go there for my prescription pickups always friendly people and I pick up stuff as needed very busy but youre not in the store too long

I was going kayaking and was able to find what I needed for the trip plus snacks at a ok cost....its Walmart

Only self checkout. Store seems un organized and hard to find what you need. They would know this if they still had people manning a register.

Extremely organized. Workers strive to make sure the shelves are stocked and are more than willing to help you out. I go here maybe twice to three times a month. Only complaint is customer service, had a few occasions where employees were less than thrilled to be there serving customers.

Used the self checkout. It was awesome

Got there after 10:00pm with an 21:00pm closing. Was able to enter store on the housewares side (where I parked). But leaving I had to exit the grocery side. I am not sure why locking down one exit in the last hour of business is so important to WalMart.Also, was looking for imitation crab flakes (made with white fish). Surprised WalMart didnt stock it...or I couldnt find it. Not a lot of floor help that close to closing.My favorite things at WalMartEyeglass lens wipesGreat Value (WalMart, non-Sams Club label)-paper towels-gallon of unsweetened iced tea-cheeses: shredded, block, or slices (comparable to Sargento, Kraft)-American cheese slices in 24oz. This is a fairly large walmart. It services Johnstown, Windber, Riverside and surrounding areas. Its a good store to buy groceries from. Their premade food is wonderful.

Walmart is Walmart. They had the things I needed at a good price. However, if you dislike crowds, it is a very busy walmart to visit.

Produce sucks, shelves empty, no help on the floor, and they want you to check yourself out, its a mess

It was easy to maneuver and quick to checkout even being crowded.

I will begin with I am not a WalMart fan or regular shopper, but it was the eve of the Kentucky Derby and they seemed stop be the only place with fresh mint. When I got there all the mint was gone from the shelves and a very friendly associate, whos job was on line shopping fulfillment assisted me and went back to find mint. I got the last three and our Derby party was saved! Our cashier was super friendly too. Because it was early in the morning the store wasnt too busy. By far the best of any Wal Mart experience Ive had.

This Walmart was easily accessible from where we were . It was clean and the workers were nice!

I frequent this particular Walmart on a regular basis - I do most* of my (primary) shopping here, at this location. As well, I almost Always target my shopping trips here whenever there tends to be less amounts of people, which is usually in the Very Early hours between 12 Midnight and 6 or 7 AM. Parking spaces are ample here, the restrooms are usually clean enough, and you can occasionally get lucky enough to pick up some inexpensive Clearance items, if you take just a few extra minutes + expend a bit of extra effort to seek them out.The only main problematic issue that I have experienced with this store is with their Pharmacy; I will save my description of my experience in a separate review.Happy shopping!

Larger Walmart store with a wide variety of grocery options and just about anything youd need everywhere else. Getting help is usually easy but locked cabinets or displays can sometimes be hard to get assistance with.

Store is pretty well maintained, some of the staff were a bit standoffish but lets be honest thats probably because they are working alot of hours due to employee shortages.

This is one of two Walmarts I shop at as I live halfway between the two, and they both have somewhat different selections. Its basically what you would expect from a Walmart. The people are generally very friendly, which is a plus.

This is a nice Walmart, its just very busy so things are sold out or its crowded. But the employees are nice so they deserve the 5 stars.

The wider isles give a feeling of spaciousness. They give customers safer space between each other.

Just your average Walmart. Avoid the electronics section, employees will try to sell you junk.

This Walmart is the worst. I am not sure if the management knows most normal folk either go to Ebensburg or order on line. It is disgusting. Stay away if your smart.

Walmart is usually a consistent place to shop whenever I visit friends and relatives out of town. As a visitor to this area I was very disappointed with the number of shoppers allowed in at one time and the number of shoppers not wearing masks during this pandemic. Store employees were not even on hand to suggest shoppers follow the posted mask guidelines. I didnt feel comfortable shopping here and will not enter this store any time soon. This is quite the opposite of what I have experienced in my local Walmart back home.

Never again will I shop at this Walmart I will drive to out of my way not to shop at this Walmart. Automotive was empty employees standing around doing nothing. But I needed appointment to get an oil change for next week. So Walmart enjoys paying workers to do nothing and with 4 empty bays.

Could not do my shopping because there was no electric cart available. Im disabled and cant walk the store.

Seemed fine to me.

Its the best place to go shopping when your looking for something or to where about to go for the item.. Every day is always set up differently..

Quick in and out. Easy to find my item

I like this store. However, theirs a lot of things that are sold out. I also dont like that on the right hand side when you walk in theirs a bunch of workers but towards the left toy and holiday section its hard to find employees. I like the self check outs and sometimes go to a cashier everyone is always nice. People complain about the parking but I dont mind it its a big area so theirs always open spots.Customer service is always fast and professional. They pay their workers a fair wage. And overall Im satisfied with my experience

Definitely love the selection that Walmart offers. There are always people by the doors greeting you and offering wipes and masks. There are also wipes and hand sanitizer when you walk into the store. There is early a time I enter this store and dont find what I went looking for, and then some! This supercenter even has items that I havent seen again most Walmarts in other areas, very easy to navigate the isle, and they always have plenty of lines open for customers. Great selection, great service, love it!

This place is huge, well organized and clean. Ive never been to a superstore before and loved the first experience.

I rated 5 stars because the store has gotten a whole lot more organized than before and the employees seemed a whole lot more friendlier to all of the customers, unlike many other times when I visited the store the 90% of the employees had very grumpy attitudes and were hardly ever helpful.Everything i looked for in the Walmart app was exactly where it said it was, i absolutely recommend everyone use the app while in the store cause it will help you not only find something you are looking for but also you can price check stuff that isnt shelf tagged.
