Best place to get just about anything for any home project. If youre not sure what you need or how to do something the staff at Bantlys is terrific. They help you with everything and the prices are really reasonable. Skip Lowes and Home depot and shop here, youll be glad you did.

The absolutely best old fashion hardware store to go to. It has a variety of merchandise for building or repair work that is not found in more modern stores. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I go here very often. They have wonderful staff that help you find anything you may need and also explain things to you if needed. I had a table I needed a specific part for and they had it. They seem to carry alot of odd things that you would need but cant usually find in other hardware stores. They also carry some pet products as well.

Best service and great pricing. These friendly folks know what they are talking about! If they don’t know something, they let you know and then find someone who does. Not at all like the big chain stores where misinformation does more damage than no information.

Full service hardware store, good old fashioned hardware with knowledgeable staff - they know their business and will help you anyway they can. I wish all hardware stores were like Bantlys - even the pros get their supplies there. And if they dont have something in stock, they will get it for you ASAP. They really are the best full service hardware store around.

Great place to increase your risk of getting COVID. They had a sign up on the door that says they arent limiting the amount of people in the store (which I dont think they have to worry about) the sign also stated that masks are not necessary. Id rather go to Ace Hardware which costs less, since they sell ace hardware brand merchandise anyways. Plus Ace Hardware is a little more responsible with their patrons health than this place.

I have been doing business here for over 30 years and have never been disappointed. This is the only real hardware store left in the area. I can find things here I didnt even know existed! And the knowledge of the staff is amazing. They know what to tell me to use AND how to get the results Im looking for.

Bantly hardware store is friendly and their staff is knowledgeable (to a point if the staff member is over the age of 18) I had a VERY young staff member (whom I most likely could have given birth to) wait on me and he seemed as if he needed more training or more hands on experience. Im not knocking them just keep the younger employees in the back for more physical labor instead of giving an opinion as to which is a better hand held hedge cutter. Thank you.

This is the best hardware store in central pa. The staff is super knowledgeable with great prices and some of the best service I have seen. This is the best place to find older and hard to find items as well as current items as well. Bantleys is worth going to for any of your hardware needs.

Recently, I had purchased a propane fireplace from Bantly. Always happy to do buy from local businesses, but I wont make the same mistake with Bantly again. 2 issues. 1: log set that I ordered looked nothing like the picture and had a broken log and they refused to take it back. 2. After the fireplace was installed, I waited 4 MONTHS for the fireplace trim that never ended up coming in even though they told me on multiple occasions it had either shipped or was due for delivery. Finally, they agreed to take the logs back and I told them I no longer wanted the trim. Ill order from somewhere else. I would much rather have dealt with a corporate chain store.

Fantastic employees. I called to see if they had a particular tubing for a weed eater but forgot what the name of the attachment tubing i needed. After describing what the item looked liked, tge lady knew whay item the lady knew right away the item needed and set it aside for me in case she was not available! You cant find customer service like that anymore !

I went to Bantly Hardware after having a bad experience with another local hardware store. Bantlys was able to help me with everything I needed. They were extremely knowledgable and friendly. A lot of people under estimate the importance of having a good go-to local hardware store where you can not only purchase things, but also get expert project advice and even just a friendly conversation. Bantly is definitely my new go-to hardware store!

I called Ace Hardware, Lowes, and this company to get two screens fixed on Friday, 5/9/20 Bantly Hardware told me it would be ready on Thursday 5/14/20 while the others said it would be about 2 weeks. So I took it to Bantly. I called that Thursday to see when they would be ready and was told it was not ready yet. On Friday 5/15/20 I got a call and was told my screens were ready. I asked the person that called if both screens were ready and was told I just had one. I explained that I had 2 and was told the 2nd one would be done right away the same day. This was at 10:19am so I was hopeful. On Friday at 5:12PM i called them up to see what time it would be ready and they told me it would be done by the following day, which would be Saturday. As of Monday they were still not ready. Honestly now I was getting mad. Again they did not know I had two screens and the person on the phone instead of apologizing and then explaining basically called me a liar. I said they told me it would be ready on Thursday, Female representative, they would of never told you that sir. I said but they did. I also said I got a call saying my screen was ready but it was actually 2 and then was told it would be the same day the 2nd one. She told me that was impossible. I had hoped at that point that I just that one rude employee so I asked for someone else. The second one was nicer but still did not say sorry. She told me that they would get it done as soon as possible. I got a call on Monday 5/17/20 that they were both ready. I then showed up today to pick it up and walked in to most customers and employees not wearing a mask. You be the judge on that one. I personally think it is not too much to be safe rather than sorry and wear a mask. The job was done good which is why I gave them 2 stars rather than 1. If you say you are going to do something you do it or you let the person know you cant, or at the very least you apologize when you cant. I did not expect a discount, just I am sorry. I never got that.
