My Husband bought me a ring at a Kays Jewelers in Minnesota. We came back to Arkansas and I needed it resized. It turns out the man who sold it to us wasnt completely honest with us and several problems ensued. The girls at the store in the mall in Jonesboro were awesome! They helped us get everything worked out and I ended up getting a brand new ring..just like mine but, a new one had to be made. I appreciate all their help so much! Thank you ladies..I am very happy!

I went in yesterday morning to get my engagemenet ring (which was purchased from Kay Jewlers online) sized. The sales rep was really rude and disorganized. When I walked in she was talking to her friend who was at the mall shopping and acted very put out by the fact that I (a customer prepared to spend money in the store) was interrupting her and her friend’s conversation simply by walking into the store. The girl was very curt and abrupt with her answers to my questions. She also jammed a ring sizer on my finger that was way too small so then I had to struggle to get it off. While I was talking to that sales rep another sales rep was trying to find another customers piece of jewelry that she had dropped off to be repaired but could not find it. The other sales rep interupted to ask my sales rep to help. They still could not find her item and just kind of shrugged nonchalantly.I was so disheartened by the terrible, sloppy service that I just left.I would not trust those people to baby sit a potato much less my engagement ring.

Today December 4, 2017, in the evening, I went into the Jonesboro, AR Kay Jewelers in the Turtle Creek Mall.I asked if they could give me an estimate of what my wedding ring was worth that I had bought from Kays Jewelers about 5 years earlier.I was told in a very hateful attitude, they did not give estimates. I said, I was told over the phone that you do. The lady (and that is being nice) got an attitude with me and said we can tell you what we would give you on a trade in. I said that is fine. She comes over to the counter and looks at my ring and realizes it was bought at Kays and then proceeds to say Oh, you bought it at Kays, then on a trade in we give full refund price. I said yes, that is what I said when I came in and asked for an estimate, that is was bought at Kays, I also told her that I had all the cleaning records and diamond tightening records from the time my ring was purchased until now along with the original receipt. She then took my ring and my receipt, and walked away without even looking at all the cleaning and diamond tightening records or any of the other paperwork.She went to the other side of the store and got on her cell phone and was gone for 5 minutes or more and finally I asked her why she took my ring and walked away, and she got an attitude and said she was calling security and so I said why, because all I did was ask why she walked across the store with my ring and got on the phone and she hadnt even looked at my paperwork. Another worker in there said well that is our policy, we have to call our District Manager to get permission to give the estimate. I said so even though she just told me and so did you and it is on your website, that if I am going to upgrade my ring, that you can give me full purchase price towards another ring, that you have to call and get permission and she has to take my ring across the store out of my sight to do so? So she proceeds to threaten to call security and I said call security, and I told her to bring my ring back to me, and she did reluctantly and then she walks out to get security, and my receipt was still missing, and I just happen to see another guy (I dont know who he was) folding my receipt and I told him he needed to bring me my receipt, and finally he did.As I am putting my ring and my paperwork and receipt in my purse the security guard (extra large Paul Blart) walks up and gets smart and says you need to leave. I said I am leaving, dont you see me getting my stuff together? He said yes I said ok, then that must mean Im leaving, because I will not recommend this store to any of my friends or family, I have spent almost $5,000 on this wedding ring, not counting all the other jewelry that I have purchased from Kays and I will not ever return or buy anything else from Kays again.They have the worst customer service Ive ever encountered, the worst ghetto workers, they could hire (no I am not racist), however, when I am treated like I walked in with a stolen ring and they think I cant afford the ring that I brought in with all my paperwork that they refused to look at, then yes I can be a ghetto thug myself.They did not and do not know me or my financial status, and I guarantee you I make more than any of them in there.Reason of review: Poor customer service.Preferred solution: Full refund.I didnt like: Unprofessional employees, Service, Lazy, Acting like i was a thief.ACCUSATORYRUDE
