I was just at the Gamestop on rangeline in Joplin Mo and I had the best experience Ive ever had at any store. The lone employee made every effort to help us with anything and everything, he was incredibly sociable and helpful. His name was Brandon, I think his last name was Boaz. I just wanted to make sure that his boss is knows about the amount of work Brandon is putting into his job.P.S. Brandon if youre reading this, thank you so much for all of your help. Keep up the good work.

So I came in to swap out controllers with my 1 year warranty, and I got the controller swapped out real fast. And went home, got it out the next day, and all my audio was messed up, so I called and they told me to come in and they would purchase free swap the controller and the warranty for free! Thanks game stop and the man who helped me out, I didnt get his name, but you know who you are! Thanks! ✨✨✨✨✨

They did not go through the cases and take down what they did not have in stock. I picked up a couple of used game cases and took them to the front to pay and they told me that they dont have them in stock. I asked why they still have the cases on the shelf if the used games are gone? He told me that they have been to busy to pull the cases down. The cases for the used games go with the game to the customers house. If they dont have the game, they should not even have the case. Management needs to crack down on this store and make sure they know how to do their job correctly.

This used to be a good gamestop about ten years ago, I remember going to highschool in the mall and always looking forward to going there on my drive home. But recently Ive been having less and less good things to say.The biggest problem I have to this day is that they simply wont pick up the phone. It could be any day of the week at any time and they just seem to refuse to pick up when your just trying to find out if they have something in stock.The other biggest issue I have is how inconsistent the level of service is whenever I am there. Depending on who is working youll either get a very polite young man who seems legitimately focussed on giving good service, or a burnout who wants to be anywhere but there and just wants you gone. I wouldnt recommend shopping here any more. The glory days of this store are long passed unfortunately.

0 stars. Terrible company, as a gamer I will NEVER do business with this company again they are one of the worst customer service companies I have ever dealt with. I went into a store and they didnt have cyber punk 2077 and I was told to purchase it online by the employee. So go home and do that. Today was the copy was suppose to be delivered. After 5 business day my order is still in process and hasnt shipped. So I called customer service and after 2 hours and 45 minutes on hold I demanded a refund so I may go into the same store and purchase this in person and they refused even though it hasnt shipped. After years of paying for premium membership I will never buy anything from them again. Terrible, Awful company that deserves to go out of business.

Absolute terrible Customer Service. I go online to pre-order for a game that comes out on the 10th, but this edition lets me play on the 7th a few days earlier. I go in and order with Kieth, and then I go back the 7th to pick up the game, and am told it takes 4 to 7 days to get it in (I ordered on the 4th). So now I would get my game on possibly the 11th??? Why even pre-order then?? I literally payed more for a special edition to play, and now pay more to play a day later than the standard version? Kieth never said that as I showed him online that it said I could have it the 7th. So I went home and downloaded it online, and I got a refund. Why even waste my time.

Nice, competent workers.Edit...Gary hung up on my guy twice when my guy was telling him that their records were wrong in saying he bought a blue camo controller, WE bought the crystal clear one. Ive still got the box and obviously the controller. The assistant store manager answered on the third call back to this location Keith, he was customer service polite, however told my guy that he could hear him over the phone while he had been talking to Gary, as if insinuating my guy was yelling. First off, if you were doing this Keith, shame on you I am sitting 2 feet away and no he was not yelling. Your company has plenty of competition I have no problem spending our money at.

Thinks they are essential, putting employee lives in harms way without PPE during a lock down order.

Staff was helpful and knew their stuff. We talked across pc and console games as well as platforms. Ill go back in the future.

I have been going to this GameStop since they opened here, and the store in the mall before that. I have never had a bad customer service experience here. Sometimes they are really busy, but when they do get to me, they have always answered my questions, given me their thoughts and reviews on games, and never steered me wrong. Yes, the trade-in price tends to be a bit low, but if you take the time to become a rewards member, and buy, sell, and trade through them, the benefits are great, and more than make up for lower trade-in.

Went to spend over $100 and the store was not open. The sign said they would be closed at night but I was there at 1030 am. If you are not going to have set business hours dont say you do. Unfortunately I will no longer be doing business with this company. Drove over to vintage stock. They were actually open and happy to take my money. I like all the employees and they are knowledgeable.

I’ve been into this GameStop many times - to buy consoles, buy games, sell trade-ins, and just for information. For the most part, everyone has been fairly helpful and friendly. This past time I went in to trade a PS4 in for cash, and this time they weren’t so friendly. I talked with an employee whom I’ve dealt with many times, I’m assuming he’s the Senior GA there, because I see him the most. For the earlier part he was friendly, but then he started getting snappy with me, making remarks because I didn’t have the latest update on the console, telling me he’s going to charge me because the USB charging cord I brought in didn’t work. Perhaps it was a hard day and he was stressed, but it was rude either way. Still one of the best GameStops I’ve been to, but by far the best gaming store I’ve been to.

Pretty average GameStop for Joplin and when I happen to come in it felt like it had been wiped clean of figures and collectables but the staff was nice and recommend checking out another local GameStop.
