Cold 2 liter bottle of coke for $2. A great neighborhood market that carries produce and fresh artisan bread. Canned goods and specialty items. Wire transfers and friendly service. Special request items as well.

If there was an option of 1/2 star, they rather deserve that.Very cold and rude people. Have no sense how to talk to customers and how greet and treat when customer enters the store and bring their stuff to the register. They still think they are in Mexico.When I went the first time, I didnt know they dont take Credit Card,( every store in the whole universe do CCard transacroons ) I had very little cash in hand, after I pulled out every $ and pennies from my pocket, I was short 2 pennies, just 2 pennies. The Mexican lady did not let me go without paying 2 Pennies. I I had to give up 1 item in order to pay for the rest.I used to go to Carthage, they are nice and helpful people. They have large selection and lot cheaper than these people. If I have a choice I will never step in to this store.

This store might not be the biggest and have the worlds biggest variety, umm I’m sorry that you expect it to be like as if you were in a big city but this store is amazing, amazing people, fresh products, and you can feel the warm family friendly atmosphere. If you wrote a negative review on it I’m sorry to say you are ignorant need to check yourself. Just a saying and for your information, joplin does had one or two other stores, open your eyes cus apparently you live in joplin and you only know about el paisa? I praise the owners, hard working, and extremely nice, all businesses start out small, why bring them down on such foolish nonsense?

Love that I can get products that the local stores dont carry.... mainly Hispanic items.
