This place is incredible! The food tastes great and being able to eat in a train car is awesome. The kids particularly loved all the train car tables to play with. They have a little ride in train too.

They have different summer/winter hours. We did not realize that they had switched to their winter hours our last visit. We made it in time to eat, but they had just closed when we decided we wanted ice cream. The nice young man allowed us in to order our ice cream. He went above and beyond with his customer service!

What a fun place! Especially for little boys and kids! Looks like a fun place to maybe have birthday parties? On that train? Ice cream is good. Burgers are good. Wish I had some little ones to bring. My kids are growing too fast! We still enjoyed it...

Delicious burgers and ice cream (made in-house)! They have an old Kansas City Southern mail car that you can eat and play in. They also have a train you can ride for only $2! Family owned and operated!

The ice cream recipe from this joint is tried and true. Used to be served at a shop just down the road called Andersons. Then the owner of All Aboard bought the recipe and flipped Andersons into what it is today, with the train aesthetic and everything else. But what they didnt change is the ice cream, which has persisted as long as it has without changing hardly at all for a reason. Its good. The burgers are excellent, too, but really arent the main part of the show. If you dont eat this ice cream, I will slap you, its that good.

Lots of charm. Miniature train for kids to ride but the best is inside. Home made ice cream thats awesome and the burgers are the best. If youre headed to South on Main anyway just pass Ronalds place and drive a couple miles farther South.Turn right just on the other side of the bridge and you are there. You can even dine in a real train car.

Its like a mom and pop place. Some good food and great atmosphere. They was very helpful.

It was so cute! I loved the old fashioned vibe it gave off and the train theme! I will have to go back again when they have the caboose open for dining! They also had a play area outside for anyone who has antsy kiddos! And their icecream was sublime! They had fruit flavors made with fresh fruit; I had the banana and it was wonderful! I highly recommend!

Awesome Ice cream and the staff was wayyy cool. They let me put up a lost dog poster. And the train was cool to go inside and sit and enjoy ur cone a little longer than if in the sun outside. The train was air-condition and they had a small train ride for little ones. Didnt see it in action but Im sure its fantastic.

Had the absolute pleasure of dining here this weekend (5/15/2021). The Burgers were delicious, The Ice Cream was the best I have ever had, and even more than that, the atmosphere was incredible. The employees were pleasant, and went well above and beyond to start the train and give samples to the children. they catered to our every need and did so with a smile on their faces. Will certainly be coming here again.

This place is like a hidden treasure. I grew up in Redings Mill and love this area. This is a place you can take your kids, stop at after walking the trails or just sit outside on a nice day.

I read about the best burgers in town, poor town. The most pitiful excuse for a burger that I have ever eaten (in about 4 bites). The buns, (or was that a biscuit?), was fresh. What would you like on that burger? Very little to choose from, I asked for onions, and found 4-5 tiny pieces of onion.Now if you want to take the grandkids for a cheap burger, some expensive homemade ice cream, and a kid friendly atmosphere, this could work, but dont mislead adults into thinking this place is worth a stop. It was a shame to stop here while passing through only to have to stop again to eat dinner after having a burger appetizer here!

What has happened to this place? Weak frozen lemonade. Horrible customer service. The employees just always seem angry with each other and a little too busy to really care about the customer. What a disappointment!

Not a bad stop but I want FRIES with my burger. $6 for a tiny farm burger (cheeseburger with ham and bacon) and chips.

You get to sit in a passenger train car and eat fabulous ice cream (made from scratch in house)!Wonderful people, great ice cream, and such a perfect atmosphere.(Tip: after you finish, go to Grand Falls, just a couple of miles down Shoal Creek. Beautiful spot with fun places to clamber around on the rocks or go fishing.)Edit 10/29/21: Still fantastic. And the burgers are super great too! (Never had one before.) The patties are smaller, so get a double or triple if you’re hangry.

We stopped in right at closing time and the fellas had no issue serving us. Wife and I got medium cones and they were amazing. Lemon and wedding cake. Great little place

Good ice cream, nice people and also a great way to ruin the nearby trail walk you just proudly endured. Hand scooped ice cream, shakes and malts. Locomotive themed. Your kids will want to eat in the train car, or ride the small one they have outside. If you havent been you should go, doubt it would be your last.

I love taking my kids here to enjoy some ice cream with the family. They really enjoy the flavors of ice cream and being able to visit the train as well as being able to enjoy a train ride after their yummy ice cream. The burgers are pretty good and the prices are reasonable.

Home Made Ice Cream & Whislers Burger, this place is a must. They are LOCALLY owned and FAMILY owned. The ice cream is EXCELLENT, variety in flavors is a plus, and the Whislers burgers is the cherry on top. Support this local restaruant and have lunch, dinner and a treat of ice cream afterwards or go straight for the ice cream and consider it your cheat meal. And if you fall in love with their ice cream you can buy 1/2 Gallons of the ice cream from them and take it home.
