Went to grab two pieces of door/window trim. Like most, I needed a 45 angle cut.Dude at Waters: “uh,uh…we don’t cut angles.”Me: don’t most people come in for trim with a need for a 45?Dude at Waters: blah blah…Me: this is a fail! I bet 9 of ten people buying trim need an angle cut. You have the equipment and plenty of people standing around…why not? Hell, charge for it even. Is there another place in town to get this?Dude from waters: we’re the only lumber yard in town and we ….blah blah blahMe: -walking outta store as he’s grunting somewhat intelligible things…drive out to ACE, had trim I wanted cut to length and angle. All of 5 min. ACE IS THE PLACE!

Waters Hardware is great! I just moved into the Junction City area, and have been by there quite a few times to pick up supplies for the house.Everyone is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They can recommend everything from the best way to get rid of that cigarette weird smell in the garage, to where the best places are to eat in town. This will definitely be my go-to hardware store.

Rented a bounce house. When blowing it up found out it was the wrong one and full of holes so it wouldnt stay blown up didnt have time to bring it back because the party was starting. When returning the house the next day brought this to their attention and was talked to like it was our fault it was the wrong and wouldnt stay blown up we did receive a 50% discount but I feel like shouldnt of been charged because it wasnt able to be used paid 100 dollars to basically move this heavy bounce house and have it lay flat for the party.

Waters Hardware has the best Staff of employees that Ive ever come across, these people really care about there customers, I wouldnt shop anywhere else.

Very pricey on a lot of items, I did like the lady at the service center Monday morning even though she was new she looked like she was willing to do work. I wonder what happened to her.

Well not rent or go in to this store again rented a sewer snake and the employees put it in my wifes suv and broke the back window and said it was are felt

This is such a great store! My husband and I use it for a lot of stuff. On Fathers day, my husband was saying that he wanted the chain saw on sale, so I went in and told them, got the one he wanted (for LESS money as it was the last one!) they oiled it up, showed me how to use it, even registered the WARRANTY for me! The staff is always helpful and ready to answer any questions, and they are great at service. All in all, love this place!

My daughter-in-law took me to watch granddaughter decorate flower pots and to pick the flowers. Thank you for having this event!

Friendly and helpful as always. Well last week they where friendly. Today I had a rude manager. I needed a corner post for my fence going and looks like 10 foot section. I asked about the price the yard guys didnt know so they radio in the building. The guy in the building said it was $14.99. I said ok Im gomma take that. I get to the register the girl scanned it and said the total was $30 and change. I said no i was told its $14.99. The girl looks over to a guy standing over and said no thats the price($30 and change) . I said I was told its $14.99. He said Im not selling it at that price. I said here you go and maybe you should get some prices put out by your product. Basically I will not ever go back thanks the guy standing at the registers. I assuming hes a manager.

I needed a valve for our hot water heater, they helped me find what I needed, quickly.

I remember this store from my childhood. I can tell you that the atmosphere and customer service has changed dramatically since then. Employees are not very friendly and my overall experience in the past year has been less than pleasant. I now prefer driving the 20 minutes to Manhattan to visit Home Depot or Menards instead.

Way over priced and also their website is completely worthless as it doesnt help you find anything that they sell. Since Bob Waters passed this place has went downhill quicker than a 100,000lb runaway semi truck going down a 10% grade in the mountains.

I always go here for the plants, they usually have a pretty big variety and the plants always seem to be pretty happy with no signs of pest problems. I also was able to meet the woman that handles the nursery and she was the sweetest woman. Love this store.

Good selection of lots of stuff. Service is normally good and employees are easy to find, unlike a larger box store. Also, the owner donated the use of two bounce houses to the Lions Club for the Chapman Labor Day celebration, which I thought was really generous.

These people are great. In a town without a Home Depot or Menards, this store fills the gap nicely. Register person always greets you, store is large with great selection, lots of helpers on the floor, and a big lot out back for picking up lumber and concrete.

The perfect size hardware store. Has just about everything you could need. Very helpful, friendly staff. Its my go-to local store for home supplies.

Most of the staff seems pretty good. They are trained and know hardware. The other True value is closer but its worth driving the extra distance to not have to put up with stupid employees.

A great place for anything you might need

The store was very clean, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The only complaint I have is the prices are just a bit steep. It does not affect my decision to shop here though as it very convenient. The other nearest hardware store is in Manhattan. Also if you are interested in buying Stihl products this is the nearest certified dealer.

Visited to buy a filter for my home, 3 available choices☺ good, better, and best! Employees were very polite and helpful. Never expected to find my next project (hobby) there.. 3D metal models!

Im truly sorry there are so many dishonest people these days. The honest people have to pay extra. Learned a costly lesson today at Junction City WatersTrue Value. I purchased a watch battery (392) Got it home and gave to husband for his watch. He turned it over to open and asked if i knew it was already opened. I said no i just bought it. He tested it and found it was no good. Took it back and they would not make it right. He had too buy another! That is wrong!Be Aware Friends! Check the back of battery packages before buying or you as well could be buying a dead battery and Waters will not care. I will be see too find my needs at other locations.

Ive been shopping there for well over 30 yrs and just today dealt with a young lady that truly needs customer service training.

Im very disappointed with this store in Junction city. Saturday afternoon I called and talked to a man in the lumber department to see if they have oak boards. He said they carried red oak unfinished boards 8 inches wide. This is exactly what I need, I verified again and needed at least 12 feet of oak boards he said no problem we have plenty. I explained to him that I needed to verify and make sure they had plenty because of where we live it was over 30 miles. He said no problem we have plenty. When we got there we went to the helpdesk to get the ticket and I told the guy what I wanted and he said we do not have red oak boards I explained to him I just talk to somebody on the phone. He apparently called someone and I did not hear the conversation but they said they dont carry Oak I told him I just got off the phone with someone and they had plenty of red oak boards and we just drove over 30 miles to pick it up. And he did not seem to care that we were went out of our way. My wife and I were both very upset and had a hard time with the way we were treated. The next morning I got up and called the lumberyard and talk to a man there and he verified again they have oak planks I told him what happened and he said sometimes the the helpdesk doesnt know what they carry . Told the man on the phone we drove 60 miles round-trip and were treated very poorly and all he said well sorry about that . This is no way to treat customers

Very friendly staff divers store with just about everything youight need its like a mini Menards. Very convenient here in JC when you dont want to go to home Depot or Lowes and make the drive. Facilities are clean the store is well organized and they are also very helpful. Ample parking and lots of variety definitely recommend

Waters True Value in JC is great for a quick tool or part run. The guys working the store know the business and are able to help even the greenest of noobs with their random YouTube or Pinterest project. Their prices are a lottle high but that is the cost of knowledgeable staff and the plethera of niche items available in your local store. Dont ever expect the big name stores to have that gadget you need for rent or that screw you didnt get with your Ikea furniture. Google seems to have their hours wrong; they do close at 5 on sundays which makes it tough for those weekend projects or chores when the weedeater breaks or you need more painters tape. I enjoy every visit and dont mind supporting local stores with my business if I get what I need and when I need it.

Great customer service, steep on prices and outdated selection for home remodeling products. I do shop there a lot for small projects anything bigger I go to Lowes or Home Depot. I have bought my stihl chainsaw and my troybuilt lawn mower from them, but only because they had a sale. Their paint cans are about 2.30$ over priced and are defective sometimes Walmart has them way cheaper I never understood that. Over alll not a bad place for being local I do enjoy going there and hope they adjust prices in the future.
