Lied to me. Called my wife right after Gabe showed panic as though he knew he was doing something wrong and told me i told your wife to call when she was on her way so I could have the truck ready.This is never something you do as a mechanic, or salesman for an auto mechanic.. you actually finish the work and pull truck off lift or out of bay and call customer because you dont work as fast as I manage to drive. I manage to drive when the work is done.Also a terrible experience, a footprint not belonging to me or my wife, knowing because neither of us ever put our feet up there. The seat laid all the way back, which means someone actually sat there through about 30 seconds of laying it back because its electric.. you dont accidentally lay a seat all the way back and accidentally contort your body to place your foot on the dash while replacing the internal air filter. The work we requested to be done, apparently we paid for an unbroken part!! The grinding is still there and the part said to have been replaced was in working condition. Unprofessional and unacceptable. We will not return nor will we ever send any business to this location.When I call in to speak to him he continues to pretend he cant hear me because of a static noise in the vehicle from Bluetooth. Decided to test the static noise, wife drove away, called and could hear her over static, however I never got the desire to grow impatient over the simple static noise, and could hear her just fine.To show how much we love our fords, and business with attempting to ensure the right thing is done to record work, here are our vehicles. I will take them anywhere but there from now on.

This place is amazing, I am.so glad I came here with my truck to get it covered under warranty. Greg was the best help with dealing with the warranty reps. He and all the techs did a great job. I was even put into a brand new truck while mine was in the shop getting fixed. That trip saves my thousands of dollars.

This was my first time buying a new car, I was skeptical about coming here due to previous reviews but after a night in Witchita of dealing with salesmen who had no intentions of helping me, I thought it couldn’t be that bad. And I’m so happy I did! I got the car I wanted, was able to get a price I was happy with, and was treated very well. I was in the market for a new car recently and was friends with Krystal so this was our first stop. We werent planning to purchase very quickly but after test driving a few cars, Krystal showed us the 2016 Ford Fusion SE that we immediately fell in love with. After some negotiating, Tanice shot us a price that was impossible to pass up. We are beyond happy with our car now and couldnt have asked for better service. Also when we were car shopping, Eric was not pushy or nothing. so i do not have any complaints with that particular salesman. my complaint is with the service department. Due to them not having the particular vehicle i was looking for we drove 168 miles to Paola and bought a brand new jeep. Next day discovered it wont go into 4wd, the sevice department was willing to look at it today until my wife told him where we bought it. then he was rude to her and said he cant even look at it till next week. I had planned on using them to service and repair this vehicle when it needed it. But now i will never do business with them again I am glad i didnt buy from them. I recommend going to Paola ks, better selection and they are just a dodge dealership. Not trying to be for and dodg .

I came in because there was a Jeep that I was interested in, met with the salesman and instead of offering to grab the keys and let me take it for a drive he insists I look at a used, manual jeep. After telling him I don’t even know how to drive it (nor do I want to purchase a manual vehicle) we take it for a spin. The jeep died TWICE on our test drive (some other guy who works there had to drive it as the salesman nor I knew how to drive a manual). After a terrible test drive of a vehicle that I didn’t even want in the first place, I literally couldn’t get out of there fast enough.Never have I ever been treated like that at a car dealership before.

I made an appointment for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Got there at 1:00 PM, after waiting for about an hour I asked if the car was almost done. To my surprise they havent even moved my car and they told me they are starting now. I was watching from the window and they quickly rotated the tires and lifted the car to drain the oil. I can understand maybe 30 minutes maybe 40 minutes while draining that oil and changing the filter; but they took another hour and half. Multiple times I saw the technician just walking around and talking! My car was sitting for no reason for at least 20 minutes. When they finally finished they took my car for a car wash I was pleasantly surprised, but after I get my car they bent my license plate in half, seriously I cannot make this up. For the price, and the time you have to wait I wouldnt go here, its really just not worth the trouble. Go somewhere else where they take their appointments seriously, and get done as quickly as possible not here.

Me and my wife traded a 2018 Dodge Journey for a 2019 Ford Fusion signed the paperwork for the loan and azura credit union decided they wanted to deny the loan a month later because they no longer except BAH for source of income upon returning the car we get the journey home and the tire sensors are all jacked up and who knows what else is wrong with it when we traded it in with nothing wrong with the vehicle except for a couple of scratches. Fail to mention, to mention, my wife’s number was all over the paperwork. Dick Edwards never called her. Until we got a letter today, post-dated for October 2nd, we knew absolutely nothing. Nobody told us who to call or what the calls going to me were about.

Over the years I have noticed customer service and care has become more of a title than a reality. Very few businesses take care of the people who help take care of their business. Dick Edwards Auto Plaza not only still believes in customer care but in my situation, they went above and beyond what I ever could have imagined.After taking my vehicle to Flint Hills Auto and getting the run around, I drove 25 minutes from Manhattan to Dick Edwards Auto Plaza in Junction City. When I got there I was relieved to see a member of the service team, Steve Lindsey who I knew from the Old store in Manhattan. This individual took the time to look into my issue and discovered the problem with my vehicle would have been covered under warranty and could have been taken care of by Flint Hills Auto, if only they too would have taken the time to take care of a customer. Even though the warranty had run out about a month earlier, Dick Edwards Auto Plaza honored the warranty and fixed my vehicle per the warranty guidelines.Amazing customer care and service! Do to circumstances beyond the control of Steve and Gabe in the service department, a bill accumulated on my account do to the technician making an error. This was over 1 thousand dollars worth, and without hesitation they charged me only the original quoted rate. Fortunately, the parts changed were part of the restraint system, which came in handy less than a month later due to an accident. Excellent customer service, and then some!

Our older Lincoln Navigator broke down in Junction City on our way to Colorado. Dawn Engel was the service person who handled the details for us. We continued our trip and left the vehicle for repair. Dawn immediately got us an assessment cost of the damages and kept us informed of the repair progress. We were able to pick up the repaired vehicle on our way back home. Only had to stay one extra day for repairs to be completed. Dawn was great to work with! Our vehicle is running fine and they even called to check on it after we had been home a couple of days!

Our experience at Dick Edwards exceeded our expectations and has changed our entire outlook on what a car shopping experience should be. Cliff Howard worked with us patiently and was very knowledgeable. We wouldnt be in our new car without him. I cant wait to refer friends, and change their opinion on what a car buying experience should be as well! Even after the sale we have been treated like royalty. We had one discrepancy with our vehicle a couple of days after purchase, brought it back to the dealership and they handled it with no questions asked. I traded in my 2005 Accord with these guys for a 2012 Civic Hybrid back in November of 2014. The car is perfect and the Honda dealership here in Salt Lake City have told me that they rarely get these cars in for routine maintenance in as good a condition as mine is.UPDATE: Since my original review of this business, I can only say that things have continued to be incredible. I expected some sort of problem with a used car but have found nothing. I get the car serviced regularly at our Honda Dealer here in Salt Lake and there hasnt been a single diagnostic failure or fault or hiccup or anything. Dick Edwards Auto Plaza really is a great place and they sell only the best used cars.

Had four bolts snap off the wheel hub assembly called and asked how much it would cost for them to replace them with parts I already had. After talking to service who didnt get what I was saying, I was transfed to parts. Then I was transferred to Steve who told me he wasnt going to pull a technician to help. Do not Ever take your car to them or buy one. I had around my ignition fixed and about a couple days later the clock spring broke and it was from them putting the steering wheel put back on too tight and they wont take responsibility for it and my ignition is worst off after they touched it and they pretty much ripped me out of a $1000

I went in to test drive a few cars and let them know that I would not be looking to purchase until July 2017 at the earliest and it didnt matter to them one bit. My husband and I where pretty sure we knew what we wanted in our next vehicle. Dick Edwards in Junction had the type of vehicle we wanted, but without the options we were looking for (needing for our family). We stopped in and looked at the vehicle they had, and test drove it to make sure we wanted to pursue looking at this model, with every intention on giving them our business. We were in no hurry to make a purchase and willing to wait for the right one to come in and become available. While looking through the vehicle, the interior was stained and appeared to not be well taken care of. Control panels were falling off and to make matters worse, when we did test drive it, the check engine light was flashing. We made sure the sales rep that was riding with us knew that this light had come on, and she didnt seem to concerned at all. After the drive, we asked if they had the ability to look around for this vehicle, with the options we were looking for (main one being 2nd row bucket seats). She informed us we could go talk to her used car manager and hed be able to help us. He asked what he could do that day to get us in this vehicle. We told him we didnt want this one and what we really needed for it to work best with our family. His response was, well what if I got you in it at a good price and you could figure out the seats later?!?! Was he even listening to us?? His response was, those are very difficult if not impossible to find, and asked if he could at least get us in a mini van that day stating it was the last day of the month, and they needed to make a sale. At this point my husband and I were DONE. He obviously only had his best interest in mind, which was making whatever money he could that day, whether or not it was what his customer was seeking. After we left, we drove away slowly curious as to whether they checked out that check engine light, and NOPE they parked that sucker right up front where it had been. Right then and there we knew we would NOT be doing business with them. A week later we found EXACTLY what we were looking for and even more. We try to keep our business local, but sometimes it PAYS TO TRAVEL ELSEWHERE. Would not recommend this dealership at all. They have an agenda, and its not you.

My car was shutting off while driving. I called and dropped off my vehicle (2016 Ford Fusion) and 4 hours later my car was ready for pick-up. I had no issues and talked to the manager and they are trying to turn their reputation around. Im not sure what some of you all expect when getting your vehicle serviced but I thought Dick Edwards maintenance department was very straightforward and professional. They even wash the outside of your car before returning the keys. Its probably something they started doing to turn things around for them. I would recommend and give them a chance to turn it around.

We were towed in to Dick Edwards after our Dodge Journey was hit by a flying piece of metal and put a hole the size of a fist in our tire. It was after 6pm so the service dept. was closed. Thomas the sales manager arranged for a lift to the Sleep Express Hotel and suggested dinner at Ikes which was great. In the morning the shuttle picked us up and immediately the service dept. refitted the car with a new tire. We were on the road by 10 and managed to stay ahead of the worst of the thunderstorms. I recently purchased a 17 F250 from Dick Edwards Ford and the experience was awful. After narrowing down the must haves on our truck Dick Edwards was able to locate one and did a dealer to dealer trade. We financed the truck sight unseen on a Friday at 1pm. We were told the truck did not have running boards so we purchased them to be installed. At 3 pm we were told we could go home and the truck would be delivered that night. At 5 we got a call saying it would be delivered at 8 am the following day. At noon the following day I finally had my wife pick it up at the dealership. I found the invoice in the truck and looked at the dealership it was traded at for pictures the truck had running boards. I called Dick Edwards and told them of the mistake, they stated I was wrong and that they had installed them. I finally convinced them with the proof of the website photos of the competitor. I was obviously upset about the ordeal and wrote a manager a letter about the experience I heard nothing in response. When I approached him his response was he was not responsible for the saleswoman actions as she quit after my sale. I thought this was ridiculous as she represented the company and his job as a manager was to make it right. The finance paperwork was missing a signature from my wife so in essence we didnt own their truck and they didnt own mine. I thought the pressure of not signing for a week would get a response to my letter, it did not. In resolution I signed my paperwork and refuse to do any business with this organization again. I would highly recommend Long McArthur Ford out of Salina, they have been a pleasure to deal with. I would be glad to further my experience with anyone if requested. I am also willing to share the letter I wrote that did not receive a response. I can also show the date time group of the email written with no response.

This place is the worst especially Mr. Gabe. Had ordered some work to be done on my vehicle without my consent and I ended up paying thousands of dollars more than I should have. (Seriously) Then when I took my vehicle out from the shop it had a class III leak with my truck smoking nuts and bolts loose and one of my decals scrapped right off. Apparently they didnt like the fact that I complained to Division about their poor service and preying on soldiers while taking advantage and telling me I need a new engine without looking at alternatives. End result went to a much better shop and only needed some winch turning on my engine and a part replaced and voila has been running much better. This place is a too off and doesnt even care or blink an eye about how shady they truly are. Ft. Riley has posted a RED FLAG for soldiers to come here. There were a handful of other cases from soldiers complaining about this place...watch your pocket book and safety for your life if you let them touch your vehicle.

Took the car over night for test drive. Next day I took their car to Del Motors, not only did they sell me the same car without any problems on it but gave me a better price for a vehicle without damages!

Rude sales and finance people. From the moment we walked it it seemed as though we were an inconvenience to the lady at the front desk, the manager (?) and the finance guy. The actual sales guy we worked with was ok. We fully intended to buy a new car, found one we really liked and wanted, walked out and will continue our search. I think they were disappointed that we werent the stereotypical soldiers that would blindly buy a car, and they treated us as such.

I would never take my grandkids there again. It wasnt organized very well at all. The neglected to inform us that you had to color a picture per age group for drawing for prizes. Then when we went out to do the egg hunt wacf. When they tried to tell every one when to start, kids were running evety where all ages were just running in the area for the 0-3groupthere were parents even bending down and picking up eggs. No control at all. Buy the time we figured out what was happening my little 3yr. Got nothing. The goes thats ok i saved some back for the little ones. When we went in to find her. She was pulling a wagon 1/2 full of candy and little things. She told them to take one. Not worth it.

Honestly this is the only place that I let service my vechile Ive been coming here for a year now just having routine maintenance done and while I can agree one of the two service reps isnt the most pleasant to speak with (sounds dry and uninterested)Ive never felt disrespected or been treated like what I have to say dont matter they answered all my question in a reasonable and fashionable manner and Im over all satisfied with the service that I have received and I will continue to do business with them as long as Im a member of this community

If you bring your car in for a oilchange and you happen to be a woman, theyll try to sell you new breaks and battery. If your husband brings exact same car in without getting anything fixed, all of a sudden, your car is good as new. Funny how RAM trucks seem to be selfrepairing. Shame on you for thinking you can take advantage of military spouses

Wouldnt budge on price and they kept trying to sell us a truck we didnt want. They sales manager came off as very slimy, and you could tell he had no problem looking you right in the eye and lying to you. Theyre obviously used to young army guys that will come in and pay whatever price is asked for a vehicle

Please do not buy anything from them! My husband bought a truck from them in February, by April it had already broken down. They tried to stick us with a $4000 bill until a call to our extended warranty company magically covered the cost. On the way home after they had fixed it, oil started pouring out of the truck leaving us stranded on the side of the road with our 2 small children. It took four attempts to fix it and we were stranded on the side of the road a second time. We have a hour drive one way to get to J.C. and never once did they offer compensation or a rental vehicle.

This place is the worse place to buy a car, no customer service at all. New sales men on the floor with no knowledge of their vehicles. Sales manager don’t want to get a vehicle price and not welling to negotiate the price. Then they don’t tell you what rebates they apply or not.

Went to Dick Edwards after i had already begun talking to Briggs. Davin worked with me to get a 2014 Kia before Briggs received there any of the there own. And even with my not so good credit found me a fair deal. Will go to them first in the future for any new purchases

What incredible Service.My Jeep broke down on the way to the K-State football game. we limped in to the service department and waited for the diagnosis. All throughout the process Cole was waiting on us and listening to me trying to find transportation (i have a son who is mentally retarded and was beside himself because he thought he would miss the game) Cole got him a drink and a donut and the next thing I knew he had found a car for us on base at Ft. Riley and was prepared to drive us over there. I picked up the freshly washed Jeep Tuesday, as promised. I wish Dick Edwards and Cole were closer to Garden Plain Kansas. What exceptional Service. Thank You

Horrible experience & dishonest business. Drivers seatbelt was not retracting and they never called to tell us what needed to be done and to give them the go ahead. Instead, they went ahead with whatever they decided. They actually just cleaned it and charged us $100 for general repair even though nothing was repaired according to the ticket. I caught them in their lie and had them take half the charge off our bill. Id strongly recommend to find a different Ford service center.

Was lied to about the engine size, after a couple washes I saw the sharpie coming of the nicks in the paint (my car is black), and i was screwed out of new tires becuase there are no record of me buying tires even though i purchased them with the vehicle. I wont be buying another car from here and I wouldnt recommend anyone else does either.
