Aloha Tattoo Co was an awesome experience. We stopped by for an impromptu tat on our way to the beach. My wife and I got matching Turtles with each others initials in them and the artists were nice, friendly, and quick with the ink. All this for a reasonable price.

The piercing lady, I think her name is alex. She was very professional, friendly, patient and kind and very knowledgeable. I appreciate her business and enjoyed my experience at the shop. Definitely recommended if needing a piercing. Hope to come back some day.

Get a tattoo in Kailua! We are in Hawaii and my sister decided she wanted a tattoo. We called to see if we needed to make an appointment and they said no come on in. We got to the shop and they greeted us immediately. Its a really cool spot and the people were friendly. Since this was her first tattoo she was a little nervous. The artist was nice and designed a cute tattoo that she loved. This would definitely be a shop we would go back to as they were professional and super cool.

Comfortable environment, Ryan was awesome, patient, and creative. Love my cover-up. Will be going back for more!

Walked in at 7:30pm for a small simple wave tattoo and got turned down. The guy at the front said it would take him over an hour to do and lied about when they closed (he said 8:30pm) when online it says 9pm. He was very rude and unprofessional, he was too bothered to pause what he was watching on his phone to talk about what I wanted. HE DIDNT EVEN SEE THE REFERENCE PICTURE OF WHAT I WANTED! Total dbag. Would never go back or refer this place.

They have a very clean and beautiful art selection And they have a Coincloud BitCoin ATM cool and comfortable.

My son had all 3 of his tattoos done here. Based on the outcome of his tattoos, they do quality work. Amazing tattoo artists.

I got a tattoo from Ryan and was in and out in about an hour and 15 minutes without an appointment. Love the quality and it wasnt as painful as I thought it would be based off of my last tattoo. Super stoked thanks a bunch 🤟

Went in looking for a local artist who could do a sentimental Tribal Hammerhead, and found Gabi. Not only is she an amazing artist, but her personality is stellar. This piece means and represents so much. I could not have found a better artist for such an important piece, especially on such short notice. THANK YOU GABI!!

I got my cartilege piercing done over a year ago, and the piercing kept getting irritated due to the length of the earring that was used to pierce my ear. Originally, I went in take out my piercing, but changed my mind. Tim was very friendly and professional. He changed my piercing to a cuter and shorter earring (very very affordable btw) that will not irritate me as much. Such a great experience!

Edited because I was harsh before:Walked in once, walked out. Every Marine Corps base has that one shop nearby. That being said, what I saw seemed average. If youre looking to get something Marine Corps related youll probably do fine here. The owner is passionate and cares about his shop and clients. 🤙

I got my septum pierced by another shop. They used too big of jewelry and it was started to irritate me. After getting no reply from them to fix it, I went to Tim. He was so kind and professional. He changed out my jewelry for something smaller and made me feel comfortable. Will definitely be going back here for all of my piercings and tattoos. Can’t recommend him enough!

Was not super impressed by the customer service here. My friend called to ask for a price estimate and explained that he’d been calling around different places to get an idea of what kind of money he’d be spending since he’s not from here. The person on the phone was super rude and said “do you call around and ask grocery stores how much their groceries cost?” Needless to say my friends won’t be getting a tattoo here. Not to mention that they messed up on a piercing I asked for too. Save you money and go where you’ll get better service all around.

Minimum purchase $75 just a heads up. Gorgeous work, but he even felt bad charging us that much each.

Didn’t get to choose my jewelry and was given no after care instruction. Ended up going to 808 tattoo in kaneohe. Much better experience.

Awesome place to get work done. Ive going here since 2009 and its only gotten better. Definitely recommend stopping by and seeing Tim for great work.Update: It’s been two years since my last visit and Aloha Tattoo is still killing it! Came in as a walk-in and got an amazing piece done with far better quality than I expected. I cannot stress that if you’re looking to get quality work done, this is the shop.

My daughter wanted a local tattoo done. My daughter has other tattoos done before. She really like the hospitality and also that when the tattoo was done. She had no sorness on or wrist...well done..

I typically don’t do this. However, when you get something permanent, and the person that does it for you does an amazing job, you take the time to leave them a review. Tim is an awesome artist and gave me exactly what I wanted. And the pricing was very reasonable. Totally worth it

I was in Hawaii on vacation. On short notice Gabi designed a killer Polynesian half sleeve and had me sitting the very next day. Even blended it with an existing tat on the fly. Great work Gabi Im so happy. This studio had one of the coolest relaxed vibes Ive ever experienced, noone is uptight and never did I feel like I didnt belong there or looked down upon. Great people, great service, wonderful experience. See yall in 5 years.

(Sorry for the long review)I went in to get my belly button pierced here a couple years ago.The piercer introduced himself hi Im [his name] Ill be your piercer.The girl working there blurted out: [his name], you pierce now?!Then quickly tried to walk back on her comment.The guy marks the dots for where the piercing is going then puts the clamp on. I notice the clamp is on kinda crooked and almost covering one of the dots.. then, it was as if he just randomly decided not to use the dots as reference at all. I seriously dont even know why he drew them because it was so far off, it wasnt even funny.With the barbell in, there was ~75% of the metal showing and only ~25% that went through my skin. The piece of skin was less than a cm.I followed all the care instructions perfectly, but due to the piece of skin being so small, it rejected, and the top of my belly button literally broke apart. As if the piercing had just been ripped right out.The reason Im only reviewing now is, even though I had a horrible experience, I didnt think itd cause any permanent problems. I was wrong.My scar had just finally healed to where it is not pink anymore. I decided to get my belly button re pierced at a different place. Got told its not a good idea to try to pierce it there again cause of the hard scar tissue and how close it is to my belly button. So now I cant even have a belly button piercing anymore.I just wish I had asked for a refund back when this first happened. Cause I basically payed $60 for an ugly scar and the inability to have a top belly button piercing. 🙁

Gabi is a great artist and very efficient! I had a tattoo quoted at $300 and it cost $80 plus a great tip because they are very friendly and do amazing artwork. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Where it all started, this place is the real deal. You can get it all here great American traditional, authentic Polly tribal, good vibes and great people. This is what you want in a tattoo shop, Im a tattoo artist and I did 2 work trips to there location near Waikiki and had the chance to come into this shop to met the crew. They wont let you down, they have my vote.

Tim is the sweetest, I was very shy but Tim is very welcoming and friendly. He was very patient and helped me choose a tattoo. I love koi fishes and he showed me what he had drew and I chose one of his work pieces and we got started. His staff are also very nice and happy. My friend and Tim decided on where to place the koi fish and I love the placement :) The Koi fish tattoo came out amazing and beautiful I am so happy. My koi fish still needs to be finished and I will be back to add on flowers and shading. Thank you so much Tim !
