On the phone with Apple and T-Mobile for over an hour, no results. Schedule an appointment here and Anthony fixed my problem within five minutes. Wouldn’t let me pay him! Amazing place. Thank you so much Anthony! Definitely recommend!
Excellent service. My 2019 MBP screen had an issue (pink band). They ordered the screen, let me keep my laptop, received the screen in 2-3 business days, and replaced it in half a day after I brought it back. All good!

We recently took our MacBook to Mac Made Easy for a repair. Even though Apple initially sent the wrong part, Chris, the technician, worked hard to complete the repair since we were leaving the island and had to have our computer. It was a very positive experience and I would recommend this company very highly.

Recently my computer (MacBook Pro 13 2010) stopped taking a charge. My power adapter light didnt even come on. So I thought, why not take a chance at Mac Made Easy and see if they can tell me if the problem is my adapter or my computer (internal hardware stuff). I also thought, wow how convenient, I dont have to drive into town, let alone find parking in Waikiki. So I went to Mac Made Easy and showed them my computer and asked them to check it out. They tried with the current charger adapter (the one that goes to the side) the light did not come on, but the sales rep said they had been having trouble with that cord. Then they had an older adapter (the one that comes straight out from the computer) the light came on, and the computer turned on. So under the guidance that the power adapter Mac Made Easy was selling me was the exact same as the older adapter, I bought it. I took it home, plugged it in and...it didnt work. So I figured well I guess it might be my computer and Im going to return this $80.00 power adapter. Well I couldnt return the power adapter because at the bottom of the receipt in fine print it says that all sales are final on power adapters. They would not take back the power adapter even after I showed them the apparent issue with the product they sold me and had said would work. At time of purchase, it was also not made clear that this item could not be returned if it didnt work. Thanks Mac Made Easy for not making things easy, except maybe your sales. I would not recommend Mac Made Easy to anyone. I strongly recommend taking your products to the Mac Store in Waikiki where they have exceptional customer service and are not trying to sell you things solely for a bottom line profit.
I am 55 years old and sometimes find myself playing catch up with technology. This morning, I arrived at the store soon after they opened, with an iPhone problem. Sierra was the only one on duty and was quite busy. Regardless, she helped me right away. Within 3 minutes she was able to locate and fix the problem. It is rare to find a store that cares most about customer service. Sierra could have not been nicer! Kailua is known an a friendly helpful town and this store does not disappoint!!

Wonderful. Super cozy, comfy, and friendly Store and Staff. They went out of their way to make sure I was being served well. They did an amazing job fixing up a 7 year old computer and getting it working and looking like new! Roy, JP, and Betty were there to help every step of the way. So easy! And the price... so good! Also easily accessible location and parking.

I wasnt going to post a review, even though I was incredibly disappointed with the service and what transpired over a year ago, though a recent discovery on my computer was enough to warrant a warning to the general public.I would have given them zero stars, though you cant post a review with no stars. While I could go on and on about the lack of professionalism I experienced from both the owner and staff, its not worth my time.So long story short, my Mac drive was failing, so I brought it in to Mac Made Easy for repairs. I got a call from the technician asking if they wanted me to back up my files. I said absolutely, as I only had a partial back up and wanted to be safe. I received a call from the technician that my Mac was ready and that they were able to back up and restore my files. When I arrived, they opened up my computer and there was nothing there. NOTHING. No files, no folders, no pictures. As I said, its not worth my time to go into details here about the lack of professionalism and ridiculous incompetence that ensued. I explained to them as calmly as I could that they needed to figure out what happened to the files that the technician told me over the phone that he had recovered. The next day I got a call back that my Mac was ready. They said they had found my files on their server and were able to put them on my computer. They showed me the files (they were a mess - no file names, only numbers and letters). They explained that sometimes when this happens, the file folder and document names go away. It was an absolute cluster, but I was just happy that they were able to recover over 15 years of my professional and personal files and pics.Now, a year later, Ive finally been able to start going through each and every file to hopefully rename and reorg them. But what Im finding is that many of the files that they recovered ARE NOT EVEN MINE! I have pictures of people and landscapes and other stuff that I have no idea where it came from (see below for examples). While there are some of my pics that Ive found, they are all cut up into smaller squares, so theyre not even whole pictures. Or there are multiples of them (and when I say multiples, Im saying 30-50 duplicates of the same pic, easily). No wonder why they said they had recovered all of my files based on the size of them.Regardless, I will never go back here, nor will I recommend this place to anyone. While its one thing to lose my files (and Ill even entertain the thought that losing my files was not their fault because my Mac Drive failed). However, to come to find out that what they supposedly restored onto my computer is not even mine is a disgrace, not to mention dishonest.Consider yourself warned. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment and go to an Apple store. At least theyre competent and honest.
Made an appointment for a battery replacement through the apple servicing website. Upon arrival was told they could not do this since have no batteries in stock and it would be up to me to keep phoning for an untold number of weeks to see when their new batteries would arrive. Also mentioned they have no idea how to see what appointments have been made at their location via the apple service center or how/why they are even receiving these appointments via Apple. Really ?!?!? Will take my business to other locations that understand customer service, Apple software, you know, basically act like a REAL apple service center.

Came into Mac made easy last week and needed help with my MacBook Pro and was instantly greeted by the two representatives Mary and Kya who both work together to help me get rid of the adware on my computer and find a perfect case and keyboard cover for my laptop. Their attitudes and willingness to help me and the other customers definitely has inspired me to come back in the future.
Customer Service is lousy, tech help the same. I bought a new MacBook Air and paid them to transfer all my data from my old MacBook Air. Within 2 weeks the mail program stopped working. Further I paid them to clean up my old IMac and it came back worse than when I took it in- I can barely read any text on it. I called and they couldn’t/wouldn’t help. I paid for AppleCare so They told me they would send the laptop away for repair because it was after the 14-day return policy- so then I would have no laptop for an unknown length of time. I strongly recommend you avoid this shop and go to the Apple Store
If I could give zero stars I would. When I got my computer back after 8 WEEKS (they said it would take a week) spending $800 to get it fixed, I found out it still wasnt working right. Called to ask for a refund and the owner Betty Markowski was SO rude to me, told me to f**** myself and hung up on me.WOW.
The service is always outstanding and quick. I had taken my MacBook to the Ala Moana store a couple of times and had to wait a week for it to get repaired, but Mac Made Easy finished it within 1 to 2 days. I was upset when the Kapolei store closed down, but Id rather drive to Kailua and work with them versus going to Ala Moana. Anytime someone asks me about computer repair for Apple products, I mention Mac Made Easy because they are the best. Mahalo!
Mac Made Easy is a local store which I always depended upon since they were at their original Nuuanu location. For years they used to actually repair computers but lately its been nothing but profits gained from the sale of a new computer. My latest experience today I set up a 4:30 pm appt at the Ala Moana Genius Bar, my early 2008 24 inch display LED screen went blank. Both apple tech support and Ala Moana Genius Bar verified the hard drive works. Genius Bar asked me to call Mac Made Easy and give them the report number over the phone cause they can access the info as a service provider which is what I told Kanoe over the phone that you can access the report so I dont have drive to kailua before 6 pm. I told him I just need to know that you have the parts to fix my LED screen, can I just give you the model number. He said no and insisted I hurry up before they close. I arrived at 5:40 pm, the female rep at Mac Made Easy did the same thing I did at my office with tech support, the same thing the Genius Bar did. 5 minutes later they tell me we dont fix early 2008 models.I may have overreacted in the store but damn it if I give you a model number take the time to do some research to prevent a client from making that long drive in traffic to kailua town.This is the type of service you will expect to get from Mac Made Easy, go ahead and waste your time by experiencing their 1/2 star rating service.This computer is used for work so I need it fixed if its possible to fix it. Dont tell me you cant get parts when I found a resource on the mainland.If that mainland supplier is able to fix my LED screen I will update this Mac Made Easy post to a zero star rating.Stay tuned...........
