I’m very happy there is a zero waste store in Hawaii. I enjoy the interior aesthetic and variety of products. Unfortunately I can’t be a regular shopper due to the higher prices. A new 13.6 oz bottle of shampoo costs me $5 at the grocery store but refilling it at Protea costs me $15. In the long run I can’t afford the zero waste lifestyle but I support the store’s values.

This store is so cute, and its such a cool fun idea. Saving the earth little by little by reducing and reusing.

Yes!! So excited Hawaii finally has a zero waste refill store! A lot of refill liquids are made here in the islands too. The prices are so much better than what Ive seen elsewhere. Thank you Lori!!
