Nice little local skate shop. My daughter wanted a board on our trip so we stopped in to check it out. The employee was very welcoming helpful and friendly. Walked out with a new complete board for a reasonable price, a few stickers and a new shirt. Thanks

Had to buy gift for kid that likes skateboarding, Josh was very helpful and friendly and personable-giving me ideas and lots of choices. Josh even threw in a bunch of stickers! We just stopped by to pick up my sons first board. The crew were very friendly and helpful. They helped my son figure out what style board worked best without ever talking down to him. They had plenty of opportunity to up-sale us to get more money but they genuinely did their best to help him out and put him on the right board.Five solid stars! Well done 808 Skate..

Love it here. Me and my female friend came in and they were super nice and helpful here, definitely made us feel welcome. Id just biffed it outside skating to the shop and they gave me a bandaid :)

Awsome skate shop with friendly and helpful young staff. Highly recommend. They are the perfect spot to get your young kid into skating - or let your angsty teenage be angsty.

BUYER BEWARE - Unprofessional and don’t stand behind their work. I took my sons board in to have the bushings replaced. The bushings they recommended and installed (most expensive) creaked like an old barn door. They insisted I didnt know what I was talking about because all skateboards creak. I had them switch theirs out with the cheap ones that worked perfectly and they made me pay for both sets! Dont waste your time with these guys. 90% of the store focused on t-shirts & clothes for tourists. APB in Honolulu much better.

808 is an amazing local shop that employs local skaters. I dropped in while visiting from Southern California and put together a board to ride while there. Isaiah and Will were super cool, and helped to turn me on to the local spots to ride. I highly recommend it for all your skate needs.

Cool local skate shop. Great products. Decent selection. Friendly staff. They seem to be all about the sport. Not just a skate shop to sell products but one that supports the skate community. They offer advice, knowledge, and board maintenance as well. Overall great place. Didnt see many of the decks that Im used to (i.e. plan b, zero, girl) however Ive been out of the sport for a while so it could just be those brands are not in demand as much or it could just be East coast vs. West cost I dont know. But this has become my go to skate shop.

808 skate is a great shop. Im a new aspiring skater with a want for a new board, and they gave me one. Its really good quality and the workers are great and nice and up to help you find your style. 10/10 would shop again
