Stopped in to pick up a stabilizer before opening day, I was greeted right when I walked in and helped immediately. There was some small miscommunications when asking for what I wanted, which was my fault. I got my stabilizer and was on my way. Definitely returning to do some fine tuning at their archery range.

Ted Brooks Archery provides 1-HR Archery lessons for $20. The instructor does a great job of teaching all fundamentals of the sport. The facilities is adequate and location is good.

Just bought my 4th bow this weekend and they couldn’t have been more helpful! They spend time making sure the bow fits you properly, the draw is right and everything on it is working for you.I originally bought 2 new bows for my kids about 9 years ago (7 and 10 at the time) and a great used one for myself a year later. They helped me upgrade to a great new Mathews bow.

Chris is great but the other guy that works there needs some medication. Just lost mine and my familys business for good!

Went in today to have my bows weight and draw length adjusted, top of the line service! Very informative and helpful for people new to archery!

This has got to be THE place to go for archery needs in the Kalamazoo area. I was visiting from out of town when my bow came apart due to my own mistake. I brought it there, and the employee quickly and competently put it back together. He gave me some good tips when I asked him some questions. Very friendly - we had a great chat the whole time he was working on it. Cheap, quick service and knowledgeable staff - the perfect combination.

Every time weve been there Ted has always been super helpful. My husband brought a certain bow for me for Christmas and it turned out to be backorder, he let him take a different bow just so I had something to open and as soon as my bow came in we received a call and went and swapped it out. Great customer service!

I live close to Teds but even if I lived miles away I would make the trip there. Ted has always been helpful. I recommend him to everyone I know, Im going there tomorrow as a matter of fact. The indoor range is great way to practice if you live in the city. Great selection and stuff you wont find anywhere else in town.

Ted is extremely knowledgeable, and a master of his craft. He stays up to date on his products, and wont feed you any sort of BS. He keeps only quality bows in his shop and stresses the safety of equipment. Good guy; one of the few personable owner operators we have left.

Love going in here ted has always taken care of any archery need for three generations of my family. the new MXB 360is awesome set up for me when i bought it. Ted also explained a few ways to make it a more enjoyable crossbow to use.Have always and will continue buying all my archery needs from Brooks archery.

Stopped in from out of town with both kids to get some items taken care of, arrows cut and we even squeezed in a lesson. What a great outfit and very affordable.

I buy all my archery stuff from teds.Good prices and very knowledgeable on equipment. Its great to have someone in Kalamazoo that isnt a big chain store with 15 year olds guessing at what you are looking for and guessing at what they think is the best products for the job.

Hometown business with experts that are more than happy to assist you. Gets busy in the fall of course, but theyre more than willing to help.

The only positive review of this place on here must have been written by Brooks himself, because this is the worst archery shop in the world. Everytime Ive been in there Ive been belittled for my lack of archery knowledge, and the owner always appears to be irritated when you ask him questions. Im a huge supporter of mom and pop businesses in Kalamazoo, but please do not support this one! The store is overpriced and the service is horrible. The owner is a complete jerk and truly does not care about your business, he only appears to value the business of serious archers, with brand new bows. Do yourself a favor and go to a different archery store, even if it is out of the way!
