I could not have any of the cookies. All the locations share spatulas with all the cookies (nut allergy), so that was one heck of a bummer. At least I was able to get some ice cream. I took a star off because there was nothing special about their cookies n cream ice cream. It was like $8.75 just for the smallest size with 2 toppings (m&ms, brownie pieces). It came with a free cookie....so I gave that to one of my friends.

Amazing cookies! They stay warm after I get home too! Truly the best cookies Ive had around here.I dont recommend the ice cream. Its generic store bought that’s not very good, but the cookies are the reason youd want to go here anyways.Ive seen some complaints with the online ordering system. I myself havent had an issue with it- I used their website. Sometimes the location closest to you will be out of a kind of cookie and itll be unavailable though. I ordered from my new place and had a bad connection on my phone, so I accidentally ordered the same thing twice. I called and canceled one of them with no issue.

I tried ordering online and all the options werent available which was annoying. (They had those options on the wall of the store saying new!)And then when trying to place my order it kept making me pick later times because of how big my order was. It was a cookie cake and 12 cookies.I got my order fast which was nice but it sounded like people in the back when we came in being upset there was customers. And when I walked outside and checked I saw my cookie cake had a big ol happy birthday in the middle. On the receipt it said NO IMAGE only icing and green icing too! They did white icing with happy birthday.The cookies also werent great I would describe them As pretty good grocery store cookies. And for the price I was pretty upset 40$ for some okay cookies and a large cookie that didnt even get the topping right??It was a waste of 40$ got to a small bakery they make much better stuff for less of a rip off.I added photos of what I was talking about to the Google photos.

I have had good experiences with the Lansing location. Kalamazoo store-website wasn’t working, waited to place my order over the phone. Order was 100% correct, arrived quickly. Some cookies weren’t warm-fine.they provided ZERO napkins or utensils for a $60 order of cookies with ice cream to a hotel. Four people eating cookies and ice cream with no utensils or napkins. Either they have a sense of humor or I’m being punked.

Online ordering, If you want to order cookies then order from CRUMBL. I am not impressed with Insomnia cookies telling me when I order online that it takes 2 to 3 days then calling customer service and hearing it take 2 days for order processing then 2 to 3 days to ship. That is not what is advertised. I will be ordering from CRUMBL from now on. I know it will be on time from CRUMBL.

Tonight marks the second time this month that I had a bad experience. The first time, I went at 12:35 and I wanted an ice cream sandwich and the guy said I couldn’t get one because they cleaned the ice cream scoopers already. How hard is it to clean an ice cream scooper. Plus it wasn’t time for close.Tonight I went into the Kalamazoo location and the same guy gave me an issue. I wanted m&m cookies and they guy said they didn’t have any and that it would take 20 minutes to bake. This same worker needs to learn some customer service skills. Very unhappy at this location.

I agree, the prices could easily be cut in half. Remember this though: Youre in Portage. The cookies are great though! I can see why my friends like it. Its fantastic that they keep them in a warmer so that theyre still ooey and gooey when you get them . Thats what makes it worth it.

Watch out for the hidden fees they have no explanation for then when you call they assure you its taken care... well 4 calls later and over a week and explaining my issue so many times I give up... keep the money

Hello, newcomerMy wife wanted some cookies and we were out of delivery range. So I went to get my wife and kids some cookies 30mins one way. I get there (and throughly checked there website for details before arrival) everyone is sitting down on their phones. That’s cool a little unprofessional but there kids at a cookie shop I get it but still shouldn’t do it where customers are walking in and waiting for you to finish you tweet. I order a dozen nothing special and I get to the end and they say “we can’t take cash due to covid”. I didn’t freak or get mad just very unpleased with all the prior looking I did and even getting to the counter they had a TIP JAR out. I mean come on. Not accepting cash but accepting tips? Hmmm really? But anyway. I left and started my 30 min drive. Very unpleased with the customer service and lack of prevention from this unfortunate event. I don’t like writing these things but it takes a lot to move me to do this. So if the company sees this please don’t try to make this right.

I wanted to see if i could purchase a LARGE amount giftcard for my daughter who is going to Western and I stayed on HOLD for 7 minutes and NO ONE NEVER PICKED UP THE PHONE!!! How can that be if you are a business. What kind of MANAGER runs that place???

Trevor the delivery guide deserves a massive raise, I was worried he wouldnt find my building and when I checked outside he was helping push my neighbors car that got stuck in the snow out of the lot! A truly good guy!

Great cookies, great ice-cream albeit at the expensive side for both.

Will blow your mind with good childhood memories. Walking in, it smells like the best grandmas kitchen with cookies just out of the oven. They even have the yummiest ice creams. My daughter was after a birthday present for a good friend who adores cookies. We not only got her present, we also found our summer treat and cookie fix spot.

Best Giant Cookie Cakes around!! They are nice and thick, and super chewy. Almost like a big fat brownie cookie...but soooo much better!! Highly recommend getting a Giant Cookie cake for any celebration, as opposed to the good old traditional boring cake!!!

I love that the cookies are served warm and boxed right in front of you. The edges were kind crisper/hardish (not hard-hard) which isnt my thing as much, but because they were served warm, all the inside was soft and the chocolate chips were melty. Really good.When I walked in, they were nice and kind of explained the packaging, but customer service was kind of a B or B+. They were nice! But not too informative, I had too say, Ive never been here before... (like hint hint).Their peanut butter cookie was my favorite. But all flavors were good.

I love the concept, and wish we had a shop in metro Detroit! Sent cookies and ice cream to my daughter and her boyfriend at college. Freshly baked warm cookies and their favorite flavor of ice cream sent to their door late-night (they knew it was coming) ... to a college student (or anyone, really!), thats a treat! The guy who took my order was really nice, which is always a bonus.

I work nights and my wife works days. I ordered cookies to her work for her birthday, to be delivered by noon. I put in the notes that she works until 7pm. I got up at 1pm to an email telling me there was a problem. I called and was told they could not delivery then until 6pm. Not what I wanted, no time to share them with friends, but okay. At 7pm still no cookies. I cancelled. I gave them 2 stars, only because Ive ordered their cookies many times and they are very good, and usually prompt.

I called up to the Kalamazoo insomnia cookies I wanted to inquire if they deliver it to my address and what the delivery fee was in about how long it would take was on phone was basically just in the menu just ringing waiting for somebody to pick up for 2 minutes no one ever did hung up how do I get cookies if I cant talk to somebody you would think on the website that they would have a locator of what the delivery zone is and then you cant call and find out seems like they dont want to try to con people anymore into buying their overpriced cookies!

I ordered their limited edition galaxy cookies at midnight last night when I was feeling sad. Now, in the harsh light of day, I’m sad again because I don’t think any food will ever bring me as much joy.

Please advise employees to wear gloves when preparing orders for customers. I have witnessed an employee operate the cash register, then proceed to scoop ice cream with no gloves (did not even use hand sanitizer). I recently witnessed someone sitting on their phone and laptop get up and prepare an order without washing their hands, sanitizing their hands, or wearing gloves. This is not okay.

We placed an order and 20 minutes later received a call that the driver had dropped our box of cookies and they had to be remade. He said they would have it to us as quickly as possible. We waited an hour before finally calling to find out if we would still be receiving our cookies. They told us it would be another 20 minutes... You would think that if you messed up like that, it would be more of a priority to get them their order faster. The woman we spoke with was also quite rude about the whole thing.

My brother bought me some of these cookies. Quite tasty. We stopped in to look around and the reason Im holding back a star is because for a cookie store there didnt seem to be a lot of variety. A lot of what you would expect but nothing that really made them stand out. Being open late helps with the post bar munchies though.

They didnt give me a complete order and when I tried to get them to give me the cookie I was told that they will not send out 1 cookie because its just 1 cookie even though thats what I paid for. I wanted to speak to a manager but she wouldnt transfer me and told me that in 3-5 business days Ill get my money. Also theyll give you free cookies but you still have to pay their minimum

Ive gotten cookies from insomnia cookies delivered and the cookies were still warm. Best yet the strawberry cheesecake ice cream was very delicious. Basically 20 bucks gets you a variety 6 pack of your pick of cookies, and a pint of the ice cream I have mentioned. There are all types of deserts.

I was told it would be a half hour to a 45 minute wait. Had to call twice to find out what was going on with my order an hour later. They said the driver was out. Another hour I called again, and the dispatch was rude and had no answers. Driver showed up another fifteen minutes later, and wasnt very nice either. If youre going to be high at your job, please make sure youre still capable of doing it. Guy reeked. Second time theyve done this. Order was cold as hell and had obviously been sitting in a cold car for a long time while the driver apparently got baked and watched some old thunder cats episodes on his phone.Wish I could go half star. Terrible. I give up.

Ordered cookies and ice cream to be delivered for a co-workers last shift. We ordered at 10:30 with an estimated 12AM delivery time. Shortly after 12:30 we called and were told the driver hadnt left to deliver because we didnt answer the phone, which was a lie, working in an emergency department we always answer. They stated they would bring the order right away. Around 2am I called and was told the driver hadnt left yet because he was concerned about being towed for parking. There is a loop for dropping off patients in front of the department that other delivery services use all the time. I have never seen anyone towed. My co worker was leaving so I cancelled the order. The person handling the phone did not even apologize let alone offer anything to keep our business. Do not expect cookies if you order from this location.

Bad customer service! They forgot a cookie, then I had to wait ten minutes on the phone for somebody to pick up. Then she gave me attitude because I didn’t know my order number. All I wanted was the cookie that I paid for is that too much to ask? She wasn’t even willing to help me out after I said that my cat had gotten into my milk while I was talking to her and wondered if I could BUY another one. She told me no I had reorder online which meant that I had to spend an extra twenty on something I should have already had! The only thing that gave this review an extra star was the delivery guy, if it wasn’t for him I would give a negative if I could!

Holy yumm! I came in at the complete wrong time behind a huge group of students that basically cleaned them out but the guy working was not only willing to make fresh batches of anything I wanted but apologized to me the whole time and even through in a little extra to make up for the wait. Very good customer service and even better cookies.

Simply call or log on to the website and POW, youve got cookies heading to your front door. Not only is this such a killer idea, the cookies themselves really are delicious. Not feeling cookies, but want some other dessert? Thats fine too! You can just order brownies, cookie cakes, or even ice cream. Oh yeah, that all gets delivered too.

Let me start by saying I normally love ordering from Insomnia. It’s a nice treat to order at the end of a day. I ordered a Sixpack at 8:37pm for my girlfriend and I. Normally orders are delivered in about 25-30 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes for mine to be delivered, we tried calling the store to find out if there was an issue, but waited on the line for 20 minutes and got no answer. I decided to head into the store to check on the order. The store had no customers, and three people in the back. When I asked about the order, now an hour and ten minutes since the order was placed, I was told it had just left for delivery. No apologies. No explanations. So I returned home and waited until 10pm until my order was finally delivered. I’m not necessarily upset that the order took so long. Things happen. But the fact that there was no explanation and no apparent reason is what upsets me. That I couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone when I called and that the service I got when I drove to the store was unsatisfactory is what upsets me. I hate to say, but I’ll be thinking twice about ordering from Insomnia again.

Though it was very rich and filling, I was able to eat all of it and it was very good. I got the brownie with moose tracks ice cream on top and it was delicious.

Im literally on the line for delivery, and they wont deliver here...will change rating when delivery expands..very disappointed..

**RECOMMEND PICK UP, NOT DELIVERY**In the past, I’ve had good experiences with this company (which is why i didn’t lower completely to 1 star), but my service tonight was completely unacceptable. It took them 2 hours to deliver my food when my estimated time was 40 minutes max. The cookies were cold by the time they arrived to my house, which to anyone who’s had insomnia cookies knows that’s a major let down. Also, I am missing part of my order, but am too fed up at the moment to even bother. I did call customer service and received a coupon for my troubles, but it still doesn’t make up for the inexcusable lateness on a late, mid-week night.

Lived in Kalamazoo for 5 years and we are moving soon so I said we had to go here before we left. The cookies were extremely overpriced we payed $16 for and icecream sandwich which I tried to look up their prices online and they do not show them and their online ordering was not working. The cookies themselves tasted like cookies from meijer that they just warmed up and the chocolate milk we bought was expired. Apparently we wouldnt of missed out on anything good.

THE WORST customer service Ive received in a very long time. Asia made me feel less than welcome and as if I was a burden to wait on. She was REALLY irritated when i ordered more than one item. Several warm cookies were thrown on top of each other so they stuck together in the box. If I could rate lower than 1 star I would. And as I promised Asia when I told her how rude and nasty she was, Im sending an email to the corporate office to share my 1st (and last) experience as a customer here. Ok, so I ordered cookies at 740pm, 840pm still no cookies, call I call them they tell me it will be delivered in 20minutes. I called every hour. On my last phone call I got called sir clearly I am a women, I corrected them and said it would be another 15 minutes. 4 hours later they get delivered, cookies were burned and cold. Im never ordering from then again.if I could give a negative star I would.

Me and my roommate have ordered from you twice this week. The first time our cookies were burnt and this time its been over an hour when my wait time was 30 minutes. And my order wasnt even right. I spent $30 on cookies and I waited over an hour for the wrong order. Called your customer service only to be hung up on when I didnt even ask for anything I just wanted to inform someone that my order was late and not correct. Ive edited my review three times in the last 30 minutes first that my order was late then that it was wrong and now that one of your workers hung up on me. Honestly angry at this point and you just lost 6 different customers. Used to love this place now its just being ridiculous.

These were the worst cookies I’ve ever had! I’d rather have my husband make cookies for me and he don’t know how to tell the difference between the damn salt and sugar!
