My place of Zen. I do very much so love this place. The owners and employees are so knowledgable, kind, and relaxed. Ive been able to find a whole different kind of joy in the hobby Ive expanded on thanks to the shop.Sentimentality aside, the pricing is great, the available products (beads, gemstones, custom jewelry, foreign jewelry, tools, seed beads, metal beads, hooks and bookmarks, findings, chains, leather, how-to books, other things that Ive probably have never even seen because its easy to get lost in all the greatness) are extremely high quality, and they offer classes as well as services to fix broken jewelry.Kalamazoo will be losing a great treasure when this store closes. But for those who love jewelry, the zen, peace, and art behind it, its a utopia. I truly have nothing negative to say. Stop by, you wont regret it. I never do.

I brought in my deceased cats collar, ID tag and bell and asked the proprietor to make 2 bracelets, each with a silver cat bead. She spent about 45 min and made 2 beautiful bracelets. She only charged for the parts, less than $10.00, but I paid her $20.00 for her excellent labor. Amazing shop, amazing work.

The owner is so helpful & nice! Prices are extremely fair & there are so many different beads, charms, cord, & jewelry options to look at.I went in needing new cording for necklaces & the owner was able to replicate the cord, length, & tie the sliding knots for me (I struggle with it) & help me find a tarnish cloth for my jewelry at home (pictured, Ive used it already lol).Definitely recommend this shop to everyone!

Cindy the owner is so helpful! She helped me design a necklace using beads I had and ones I bought in her shop, and instructed me in how to make the necklace as I am new to jewelry making. Very affordable price for the quality too. I highly recommend!

I have gone here many times over the years and the staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. Lately I have had 2 jewelry pieces fixed. The pieces have a lot of sentimental value and the staff was very kind and got them back to me fast. Great place to create or get new ideas for jewelry or craft projects.

Upon walking in to the store I was greeted pleasantly by a really sweet young gal. I am so sorry I cannot remember your name. I am handicap and use a walker and she offered to move things if necessary to make it easier to get around. I also had my youngest son who is 8 with me and she was very kind and patient with him, answering his multitude of questions. This gal was very knowledgeable and helpful in every way she could! We were in the store on January 4, 2019. We will return and recommend this shop. Excellent selection of beads at different price points. They have many choices for stringing as well.

The Bread Shop has what you need for jewelery whether youre making it or theyre helping you repair what you already have. Great place, knowledgeable & helpful staff. If you havent checked it out, you should.

Staff very friendly and informative, I have made a few pairs of beaded earrings in the past, nothing extravagant. Went in looking to make something for my sisters for Christmas, the lady was very helpful, and explained how to accomplish what I wanted. I will go back.

Helpful and friendly employees. Some things are in cases and difficult to see though. I spend an average of $20-30 per visit.
