Seems to be behind in wait times for the work to be done but thats fine! Couldnt have asked for anything more. Tools were fixed and I was on my way. Good prices as well.

The motor died in our bathroom exhaust fan. Parts were no longer available from the manufacturer. I removed and brought in the motor and fan. Kal. El Motor had a replacement motor that worked and put the parts together for me while I waited. All I had to do then was put the motor and its housing back into the unit with 3 easy screws. Saved us a much more expensive job of replacing the whole exhaust fan and redoing the opening in the wall to accommodate it. Great courteous service.

Very helpful. Was purchasing a replacement for my furnace blower. They made sure everything matched exactly and would work.

My Furnace had broke down and I needed a new blower motor and capacitor for my Furnace. I had Brought them my Squirrel cage assembly with the blower motor and compasid are attached to it .. he was able to get the right parts for it and had them in stock and even Install them on to my squirrel cage for me making my work easier and faster . all I had to do was Reinstall the squirrel cage and plug It in to my Furnace and it was back up and runningAll other place didnt have them in stock and Said it would be 3 to 5 business days to get themThanks for your time and help Im quite happy having my Furnace running again without having to wait for the parts to come in

We brought our generator in thinking it was toast when it turns out it was a simple switch. The guy was super informative and it was such a reasonable repair. Definitely recommend.

Got after my diagnosis and gave me a fair assessment of my tool. However, gave it back to me in pieces. Now I paid for a diagnosis which I assumed ment I give it to you in one piece you give it back to me the way I gave it to you. If theres an extra charge for reassembly that should be discussed. If the standard is taking apart and dont put it back together again due to liability reasons that should be made clear somewhere other than small print.

Ive been using kzoo electric for vacuum motor, high speed buffer repairs and carpet extractor repairs for close to a decade. Great service and very fair prices have kept me coming back. What a great company! My problem was treated like their priority. An over the phone quote before seeing the motor was within $15 of the bill, they stayed in contact while looking over the issues and were beyond friendly. Highly recommend.

Needed a new furnace blower motor, not only did Kzoo Electric have the correct one, it was at a really good price. Additionally, when I installed the motor, it had a bad hum or vibration. Tim told me to bring the motor and the furnace blower in and he figured out I had the motor mount bolts too tight so it was metal on metal. Re-installed the unit, fired up the furnace and its now running perfect. Thanks Tim!

My well pump motor seized up so I brought it in. Within an hour I got a call back from the shop giving me my options due to the damaged to the motor. Had a new one in stock and within about 2 hours of my initial visit, Ive got water in my house again. Good and fast customer service. They even went to the trouble to grind flats into the motor shaft to accommodate my ancient coupling. Will definitely be returning for any issues I have.

I would love to give a good review, especially when they had the right blower-motor for our furnace in stock after ours unexpectedly went out at midnight. My husband asked for a total price quote, and was told $45-60. We were so happy with the fantastic price since we were in an unexpected tight financial spot. However, when my husband picked up the blower motor they had mounted in the housing, he was told it was $190! Wow. More than 3X the amount we were told. I understand that surprises happen, but if your original quote is grossly different than the outcome a phone call would be great. Obviously we need heat, so we had to pay the price. Very frustrating first experience

My company has all of our tool repair work done at K.E.M. we have always found them to honest and upfront, The workmanship is outstanding. The staff at this shop is probably the best in Kalamazoo.

I needed a starter rebuilt. I could have bought one on ebay but it would have been a Chinese starter. I decided that I would rather try to keep the money in the local economy and sent the starter down to this shop. I get the starter back and my employee installs it. It doesnt engage the starter gear enough and grinds the teeth on the starter. We take the starter off and upon inspection find that the links that connect the solenoid are the old worn out parts and so are the pins. They screwed the adjuster all the way in to try to compensate for all the slop but it wasnt even close. I had to machine my own links and replace the used hardware with new parts that I purchased elsewhere. Install the starter and it cranks very slow. Purchased a new 650cca battery but still cranks slow. Purchased new power and ground cables and it still cranks slow. The starter will work fine if you put a booster pack on it. We did not take it back to them for repair because we simply dont have time and bought a cheaper starter on ebay that works like a beast. I wanted to know what went wrong with this starter so we taking it to another starter shop to find out.

Do not go here go to Midwest Electric Motor instead!!!! The staff here is horrible and extremely rude I dropped tools off to get repaired under warranty they Told me they would not honor the manufacturers warranty and i had to pay out of pocket even though theyre an authorized service center so when I went to pick up my tools they gave me a box with everything in pieces and told me that its an Insurance liability to give me my tools back in the condition I brought them to them that being in one piece not 50 pieces in a box
