This place is a rip off. They are not the only game in town. I had a very bad experience there most recently. I have been scraping for years now. They tried to rip me off big time.

Takes forever to unload, been here over 2 hrs and nobody has touched my trailer. I was not late either.

The intercom on the scales doesnt work so the office cant communicate with you unless they walk out to your truck.The website says you open at 7:30am, but when I showed up at 7:40am, I was told you dont open until 8am and to get off the scale.I could have easily been served at 7:40am, as I had shred steel and at 8:10am, was told to dump it right past the scale.Fix the intercom, serve people when you open or change the time on your website and be nicer/of service to those who are bringing you the scrap that your business is built on.

Absolutely love this place. The guys work hard and still find time to answer any questions and help in any way. I would recommend shupan & sons to anyone. Keep up the good work guys.💛

If you claim to be open be open if you plan to be closed then make it known you have a phone service a website and a building to post signs on or in so try being professional. Leaving bunches of customers waiting outside for no reason because your not going to serve them but not have any onetell them they are all wasting their time thats not acceptable at all.

The only downside is that their website and phone message didnt list their Saturday hours or location. The scrap metal is at a different location, Glendening Rd.Also, the gentleman that helped us was very helpful. He helped us back up to the scrap bay and made sure there wasnt any nails. He also helped us unload out truck.Very friendly staff.The price was $60.00 A net ton.Overall, it was a good experience.

I took in 9 leef bags of aluminum cans. They had me load them in big steel carts and rolled them on the scale. Alot of the cans were crushed and they gave me a total weight of 84 pounds. I would say that one bag weighed at least 20 to 25pounds . Needless to say I believe they paid less than half. I received 26.00$ Ill never take anything there again. Cant say I wasnt warned.

Love working here everyone is friendly and dedicated and willing to help you be as successful as possible in which is very difficult to find in alot of factorys Ive worked at these days!

Beautiful lady at scale house office

I called before I went to check price. When I got there they quoted me a price less than half before even seeing what I had so its not like I had inferior scrap. When I asked why the price was different they told me that they would never quote me the original price and that I was wrong. They basically lied to me and wasted over an hour of my time driving.Just to post an update. I took the exact same material to another scrap yard and walked away with a check for over a thousand dollars. Schupan just wasted my time I guess its their loss as I know how much money they make off of reselling scrap.
