Ordering parts for my moped has never been so difficult. I ordered 6 items. 7 days after placing the order, I got no confirmation email nor did i recieve a package. Warehouse is is MI, I live in NY... you are better off ordering your parts from multiple different vendors on ebay because you can see how positive their feedback is. Their website inventory is not updated, got sent the wrong exhaust with a lower value. Their customer service is through instagram. This company is poorly run! Please read my conversation with a company rep on instagram to get a feel what you are going to go through if you decide to order from them.

This business is no longer in operation. Its a coffee shop now. The website should be taken down.

This shop is awesome. Custom builds, moped repair, engine rebuilds...everything Ive brought them has come back great. Small shop with a reasonable wait list, will be back again and again.

Ordered parts before Christmas. Most showed up. One part missing on the order with a note to expect an email from them about the delivery of the missing part.4 MONTHS LATER AND NOTHING. there site will not allow me to post negative comments. They only show positive feedback. HEY GUYS. YOU CAN SPEND HALF THE TIME BY DEALING WITH THE ISSUES THAN YOU ARE SPENDING AVOIDING THEM.

I placed an order 4/9, today is 5/8 and I still do not have a tracking number. I have called and emailed over and over but still no luck being contacted back. Im about to contact the BBB or attorney general. All I want is a simple response.

Recently brought in an Califfo Deluxe moped that had not been started for over 15 years. I brought in the moped completely disassembled and despite myself knowing absolutely nothing about mopeds, Dan and his staff were super passionate about helping me get the moped up and running. I went into the project thinking that since mopeds are such a niche hobby/business, there would be some time delays and frustrations during the project. I did not find this to be the case at all as we finished on time and under budget. An excellent and fun experience. Cannot stress enough how passionate these guys are about what they do.

I ordered 4 items. Waited 2 month with no communication. Emailed with no response, called no answer, called left a message that was never returned. Got my order 3 months later and I is missing key items. Order included a new bill with some items removed and no refund even though these were all paid for. Called 26 times this week and no one will answer the phone During operating hours. Get ready for the worste customer service experience of your life.Now after waiting 3 months for a bulb I need to get my moped on the road I have no bulb. I have no refund and need to look somewhere else to buy this. What a waste of my life. I should me on my iron pony rite now, not writing reviews on Google

Do not buy anything online from them.I waited a month before politely asking for a shipping confirmation which they ignored for a week.I disputed the charge with my credit card in hopes of recovering my money.Edit: A higher up contacted me offering to fulfill the order after seeing this. While I appreciate they are playing catch up on bad reviews, it shouldnt have to come to that before they take their customers orders seriously. Buy in person, not online.

These guys are not your friends. I would not bother with these people. Over a month and the part hasnt shipped, emailed and didnt get a reply. Attempted to call and you get an answering machine and they will not return my call. Im at the point where I am going to try to get my credit card company to get my money back. They are very efficient at taking your money. If you look through these reviews, you will see many that talk of delays and poor customer service. They have had months to fix the problem and nothing has changed, they dont deserve your business. Do a Google search on them and there are complaints back to 2011, I think this is how they do business. They use your money as a loan, never intending to pay you back or provide a part!

If you need moped parts this is the wrong place. Ordered 3 parts September 2017. They shipped one late December 2017. They will not ship the other 2. They will not answer the phone. They will not respond to e mail. I lost my money. If you need parts go to Treatland. Awesome customer service, fast shipping and yes they will answer the phone or respond to e mail

If you want to get ripped off then you have come to the right place. They have no problem taking an order for parts they dont have and wont refund you when you asked them to vea phone conversation and multiple emails. This place is a scam. I have given them just about 2 months to correct this problem and they dodge me at all cost. Have fun with my money you stole because Im going do everything in my power to make sure you dont do this to anyone else.

I recently placed a very small order with 77 and I had a mostly positive experience. It did take them a few too many days to actually ship my order but, I received very good customer service and prompt email responses when my order arrived with the wrong part. I received a replacement within a few days. Based on other reviews, this store has had serious problems in the past but, based on my experience, they seem to be on top of it and making improvements.

Have called and emailed numerous times about an order placed two months ago with no response. A few of the times I called someone picked up the phone only to hang it back up. Would much rather deal with Treats and their excellent service,but no one has a tapered clutch shell for the Minnarelli V1.

My favorite moped parts supplier. I have made several online orders and countless purchases directly at the warehouse. Parts may take a few days to ship, but Dan will always take care of you. I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I ordered a part on 06/09/17 got a order confirmation and have yet to get a tracking number as of 07/05/17. I have talked to Mike over email and phone 2 times. He said that they have been having problems with the warehouse getting the part. Then said that he would look at his own personal stock and send it out that day. he said that the two times I called. I have recently called them with in businesses hours multiple time and no response. I have reported the company for fraud. The owners and employs of 1977 mopeds do not care about their costumers or their reputation.

Well, I guess I am the idiot for not reading all of the reviews before placing an order here. Not only have I waited almost 2 months, I have left an unanswered voicemail and 2 unreplied emails specifically referencing a refund for the order that I am sure will never arrive. Hopefully reading some of these reviews will get the owners attention and either decide that small business is not for him, or its time to get serious about collecting customers money in exchange for goods.

Ordered a set of brake shoes per their recommendation and they did not fit my bike. No big deal. Returned them promptly and UPS confirmed they received them but no refund has been issued. I have sent 3 emails and called multiple times but cannot get a hold of them to resolve the issue. Unacceptable. Its been over a month since the return. Worst excuse for a company I have ever seen. I ordered two things from these guys. One item showed up after 2 weeks and the other item was no were to be found and nothing said about it. I waited a week and sent an email. 2 weeks later I got an email saying they had a problem with their warehouse and it would be on its way. THEY SHIPPED ME A DIFFERENT PART AND IN THE WRONG COLOR! THE PACKING LIST WITH THE ITEM WAS CLEARLY DIFFERENT IN MANY WAYS. Wont get back to me. Wont return emails asking for refund. ITS BEEN 8 WEEKS AND I HAVE HEARD NOTHING FROM THESE CROOKS! EVERY SINGLE moped forum and group always said stay away from these guys and I though well im just ordering a couple things whats the worse that could happen? DONT EVEN CHANCE IT. I recently purchased a 1980 General 5 Star step-thru. It needed a starter cable; I was lucky enough to find 1977 Mopeds website. I ordered the wrong cable.Dan was knowledgeable enough to correct my order and ship the correct part. Good for me. Hurray for him.

Will not return phone calls. Did not provide order updates. Processed my payment in July and did not send my kit after a month. Had to go through my bank to get a refund because they lied about refunding my card. Sad that I live 45 mins a way and they cant get their act together. Treatland is much better and has a better reputation that these frauds.

Do not buy from this place. All the bad reviews on here are true. No communication, no anything had to contact my bank to get my money back. Of i could give a less then 1 star i would. Tried to give them a chance but the really lived up to their bad reviews.

Terrible customer service and they do not ship their parts. I ordered a few clutch parts in August. I waited 2 weeks while my order still showed pending before emailing. Was told there was a weird technical glitch on our end and my parts would be mailed. Waited another 2 weeks, emailed again, no response, and I have not gotten another response in 2 months. Cancelled my order through their website and never received a refund.EDIT: Per their reply to my review, its pretty obvious theyve used the weird technical glitch excuse for more than one customer if my story doesnt stick out to them. Grow up and run a business guys. Probably pays better than being Crooks.

Poor shipping time and sent me the wrong part not even the same part that was invoiced!I ordered a clutch puller 5/18/17 just arrived today 7/7/17 almost 2 and a 1/2 months later! I was sent an e-mail about late shipping, but e-mail said we are 10 days behind On shipping and they were sorry about the inconvenience. I ordered and said on the IVOICE a Honda hobbit clutch puller, but they sent me a kymco gy6 Peugeot magneto puller. The puller they sent was in a clearly labeled plastic tube.Im calling tomorrow and if I could get a refund or a timely exchange Id edit this review and give them a few stars back or maybe buy more parts from them but only from in store pick up.

I was lured by inexpensive parts, (a knock-off fan for a v1 minarelli, not NOS)I gave them a chance, many, lots of opportunities to fill an order and get it out the door......Very polite on both ends of our (5)conversations, but, after ordering in early summer, mid-ohio vintage car,mid-ohio vintage motorcycle, wauseon vintage motorcycle and Waterford hills vintage races, all gone by and done with, without fanatic pit bike. Too bad, could have really used it. Kept up hope fan would come in for next event, then next....then next......I think these guys are trying but, there are endemic issues involved with shipping. Cut my losses and pulled plug on order, hope no problem with account funds....Gave them 1 star for politeness. Mike said he would give 10.00 certificate towards future order for my trouble.

Blatantly never sent an item that I ordered over 6 months ago, and after countless calls and multiple email follow ups on my end, I have yet to have any attempt at a resolution from them. Initially, (and the only time I ever heard from them) I was given a bogus response about my item being shipped from another warehouse. It never came. I assume that the item no longer (or never did) exist. This is a total shame because the problem could have been addressed quickly (either by actually shipping the item sometime in the last 6 months or through an immediate refund if the item was not available). Instead, they have lost hundreds of dollars in potential business from me over a $35 item. The amount of money is less concerning than the principle- do the right thing. Considering that this company ripped me off, I would have given them zero stars on here, but unfortunately Google will not allow it.

Avoid placing online orders with 1977 Mopeds. Youll get screwed one way or another, just as theyve done to so many of their customers. And dont believe them when they say theyve fixed their shipping problems. This place is a joke, avoid. Order from Treatland instead.

I gave them a one star review because i returned a part and made a ticket but when they got it they said that they would send me the money but that was in december of 2016 and i tried to contact them since then and have been ignored.
