Great little place, we were asked to transfer from another neighbouring hostel because theyd overbooked, the owner escorted us personally and sat us down with a complimentary pint of beer. The premises have been completely renovated in May 2012, so its fresh and neutral, rather than chinesey. Being two minutes from a line 2 metro stop, its very conveniently located.Definitely recommended if youre looking for a cheap place that doesnt necessarily feel too much like a youth hostel.
The hostel gives you the basics. But nothing special about the hostel itself. The rooms and specially the bath is filthy! Placed in a very dark alley but relatively safe.
I stayed here and thought it was great. Nice place, helpful staff, bike rentals, and they set up trips. Great location too - in a traditional hutong neighborhood
Good location (5minutes to the metro) but hard to find the first time. Good breakfast, rooms can be cleaner
Easily to find, guest welcoming perfect. Rooms are small but comfortable. Cleanless can be improved
Nothing fancy but location is amazing!
Lucky Family Hostel was a delight to stay in, we stayed a week in this Hostel, after spending the previous week in two 5 star Hotels, The room we had was very nice, lovely bed, with nice white sheets, When you visit China please come with an open mind, sanitation is not great, public toilets is poor, but you learn to except this,This Hostel I give it 100%,it serve great breakfast for about to £2, the staff was Great, really friendly helpful, any thing you asked was always answered with a smile and help, We left this Hostel with wonderful memories, Enjoy China, wonderful country, wonderful people, Best Experience we have ever had
Cool area not so touristy
Had to locate but amazing people
Smells very bad . But good location
Really bad service
I had booked a single room with shared bathroom but there was an error on their part and they ended up offering me a double room with private bathroom for the same price. I thought how lucky. In exchange they asked me to give a good rating to the Hostel. Unfortunately I can not do it. The room they offered was not clean at all, the air conditioning did not heat the room, and at that time there were temperatures of minus 10 degrees, I was really cold and the shower only had hot water for 5 minutes, I asked the girl who was on the reception but she told me that she could not do anything. Although I really liked the girls at the reception who were always very friendly to me, I can not recommend the Hostel. The owner of the establishment really has to make some improvements.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We have been very welcoming and the room is ready even though we arrived early. We booked a double room with a bathroom. This is basic but very clean and the beds are ok. The bathroom above the bathroom shower is Chinese. This hotel is located in an alley close to the metro station. However, taxi drivers may find it difficult. We also participated in a trip to the Great Wall. This is the same price and good value for all the hostels. Breakfast is a bit expensive but completely Western. Finally, the staff is willing to help a simple request, and will speak English in China.
The traffic is very convenient, and there are a lot of foods nearby, the price is also good, and the staff service is very friendly.
It is very different from the previous ones. It is newly renovated, warm and clean, many foreign guests, free breakfast in the morning, bread, butter, coffee and cereals, etc., the price is not expensive, quiet in the alley, highly recommended!
Accommodation is poor, but the CP value is quite high
I loved staying at this hostel. They helped us a lot at the front desk and everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend.
Very traditional
