Very helpful. When they sell you a computer it isnt loaded with bloatware. You have them custom build the computer for your specific need. I have probably bought ten or more computers from them over the last several years. When your computer has problems, they fix it. You can pay for RUSH service when you need it. I wouldnt buy a computer from anyone else.
Always Great Service. Ive used Radioactive to both build and maintain my office computers for years, prices are good and quality of build is excellent. They have helped to fix our medical office computer Network as well and the tech can always diagnose and repair the problem. 5 stars
My parent took their laptop in because it wouldnt connect to their wifi. These technical virtuosos deleted the desktop shortcut they used to check email, told them the wifi was fine and charged over a hundred bucks for the privilege. The wifi isnt fine. Before RadioActive got ahold of it they could at least plug in the Ethernet and check email. Thanks guys!!Find s computer place with either ethics or skill as these predators have neither.
RadioActive is our greatest resource for all our computer, or cell phone questions, and supplies. All the techs are incredibly helpful, and knowledgeable. We just had a computer system built to our needs. So satisfied! And we know we can get any help anytime. Thanks!
They fixed my computer 🖥 problem in a very timely manner. Will definitely give them repeat business.
The staff was very friendly and they have competitive prices and a better selection then anyone else in town, 10/10 would recommend!
Very kindly and professional store. If possible I give 10 stars ok.
The staff was very friendly. I went in for a cell phone after checking Walmart and was very happy with the customer service, knowledgeable and quick. Took 5 minutes and got it hooked up on a different network even. Thanks
I’ve been using their wireless service for many years. The staff are easy to deal with and I’ve had no problems.
The computer I own was built by the folks at Radioactive several years ago and continues to function very well. When I’ve had internet issues intermittently they connected remotely and solved the issues quickly. Really responsive staff and highly knowledgeable.
Bought a computer. Called on the phone and payed a deposit. RadioActive was great, they answered all our questions. Computer was ready for pick up a week later, price was good. Thank you so much!
Even though Im an experienced PC builder theyre always able to answer questions when I have them and they have high quality service
Professional reasonably priced and fast
Super friendly. Very knowledgeable and fast. I highly recommend them.
I have already been a customer with RadioActive for several months when my phones data stopped working. I called them and had three separate conversations over a few days. The issue was due to an error on the companys end and not my phone, and it took a week for the service to be set back up correctly again. It was very frustrating and they lacked follow up and responsiveness. When it was finally resolved, they didnt do anything to rectify the inconvenience even though it was the fault of the company.
Unique local high end electronics and computer store, a Radio Shack on steroids, expertise in Laptop/PC builds and distance networking. Verizon dealer, too, I believe.
Friendly staff and great prices.
Was in 3 years ago... they where fine.
I had received a set of accounting books from a business previous bookkeeper on floppy disc. Who uses floppy discs anymore? Due to the outdated discs I was unable to upload the books to my computer, I mean seriously, whos computers have floppy disc drives? I took my computer and the disc to Radio Active. Not only were they able to upload the data to my computer but did it in about 20 minutes. I thought my work computer would be out of my hands for a day or two for them to to this. Talk about customer service! They went above and beyond for me! Thanks guys!
Ive dealt with these guys for many years and they are one of the best sources for computer builds, repair and related supplies in the valley! They also offer inexpensive cellular service that is hard to beat! Also the least expensive place to get cables, connectors, etc. as well!
Great resource! They always resolve my issues!!
I bought my cell phone at radioactive and use their cell service, and I could not be happier! Theyre all very intelligent, knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and kind. Theyve been able to answer all my questions and quickly fix any issues Ive had. I dont live in Kalispell anymore, but when I called with a problem with my cell phone, they researched it, got back to me within hours, accurately diagnosed the issue over the phone, and even offered to mail me what I needed! Theyre awesome!
Always helpful and knowledge.
Very helpful didnt even have me waste my time and money for a phone fix that really would cost as much as a new one but thats not always the case there prices and staff are fair and professional
Cool place for tech type people! Very nice crew.
Great place for all your electronic and cellphone needs.
At least the third bad experience at this business.Recently, I bought a used rebuilt computer for 250 dollars for my grandkids and it was bad right out of the gate. It would work for close to an hour and just shut down.I called back to talk to someone and said that they would build another one for me. Great! When I went back in to the store one of the main people working there was chatting to a lady I assumed was a customer for about fifteen minutes without any acknowledgment of us. (it turned out to be another employee)Then they took the computer without even telling me what they were doing and we waited for over an hour before they even said anything to me. They come out with the same computer and said it is fine.Get home...Same problem... It must overheat or something. I didnt bother going back and I suggest you dont either!I will never be back!
Great people and therefore great service... This is a full service shop... Highly recommended!!!👍
My go to computer provider for 20 years great to have a good service provider.
Best customer service Ive seen in the valley! Sent a tech out to my house and was on time and worked effeciantly. Well worth the price!
Purchased ssd at store and spent 24 hours to find out drive was bad. When attempting to return drive was told drive worked fine and would be charged restocking fee to return. As an IT professional with numerous years of experience I can say I will not EVER return to this to do business.
Charged $40 to simply evaluate a phone with a non-working screen and provide an estimate for repair. CPR and all other phone repair places do this for free.
Great local electronic and computer parts store. Better than Best buy for most things
Very helpful over the phone even though I’m not computer savvy AT ALL!
I trust RadioActive for all of my office computer purchases. Their level of knowledge gives me confidence that I am getting what I need at the best value.
Dont return calls. But have good product
Knowledgeable and friendly go to for all things electronic ...good for old school folks to become digitally savy without the attitude! Thanks!
Everyone is always ready and happy to help. I went in just to ask about building a good gaming compiter and the guy spent three hours with me to create the perfect rig for my style of gaming. He was very knowledgable and clear on why I needed certain components. He did not try to sell me anything I wouldnt needed, just the parts I would need and at a price I could afford.
Decent place to get computer parts, not sure about services since I do my own work. Nice to have a local shop that has parts on hand.
The employees here are always helpful and resourceful. Only down part is they dont have a website. Other than that customer service is great!
I had these guys build me a mining rig several months ago. It cost me 3200 to have it built. I was satisfied with the price. I received the mining rig and set it up and programmed it and the graphics cards were to close together and were over heating. I called them and let them know the problem i was having with my mining rig. One of the techs was arguing with me telling me it was the programming. I insisted that they move the cards farther apart to fix the problem and it did. It was a heating issue. Then when i received the computer back I had to reprogram the entire thing all over again. I was also informed when i purchased the computer if it didnt work as planned they would help me part out and resell the computer. I asked them today to help me do that and the basically told me to kick rocks, and responded by saying we never said that. All in all its been a terrible experience working with these guys. it took over a month to build the pc and then it took over a month to get the cards moved farther apart. They told me several times that they would call me back and I never heard anything several times. If you need pc work done I would not recommend this place.
Bought a brand new, built computer here! Very well done and stable. The staff here are knowledgeable and great to work with!
3 hours and 80 dollars later my pc was beyond broken. I came in to have a power button and psu looked at and the Technician corrupted my os and factory reset my pc forcing me to recover my files myself! DONT GO HERE USE GOOGLE!
A very basic web site everylink looped back to the home page.
Max is very helpful to us, especially after power outage. Thanks
Most of the staff is friendly. Paid over $300 for a note 4 which its extremely over priced (I didnt know at the time) and had to get it replaced multiple times.Heres my biggest issue...I was harassed by one of the employees for months. He admitted to looking through my photos, specifically my very private personal photos, harassed me on social media, sent me pictures of himself while at work...etc.I brought this to their attention and showed them everything and he STILL works there. I will never go back and I, along withseveral other people, have switch service providers. I cannot believe they allowed this person to remain employed.
Very helpful staff, but plan to be here for awhile most things take a little time.
Great local place to get what you need in a pinch.
Messed up my cell phoneWouldnotW recommend for cell phone repair
They fixed my laptop and made it look and operate like new again.
They had what I needed for the most part but the associate that helped me wasnt very useful in terms of knowledge of product and customer service.
This is a great shop for builders. When I was their they had a good selection of Gigabyte and Asus boards. They have a wide variety of cases, power supplies, driives (including SSDs) and the the new M.2. They had everything to build a system. They also do custom builds and computer repairs. They even exhibit a computer that was in a fire where they retrieved data.
It is a local company that provides great technical expertise.
Decent product at a fare price
I have always received excellent customer service from Radioactive of Kalispell, polite, knowledgable and professional. Even though its a small town shop and you usually get one guy at the counter the small wait you sometimes have to incur is a very little inconvenience from the very unqualified staff at nearby retailers who go through hundreds of employees a year with minimal training to work on your pc. Ill wait until the tech is done explaining something to another customer who many be unfamiliar to that subject rather than have the voice of inexperience speak for itself at a big block store. Ive used Radioactive a few times and have will continue to in the future.
Worst then best buy and breaks things more then apple.
Great place!!!👍
This is the place to go for phone or computer problems. Excellent customer service.
Brought pc in for diagnosis and possible repair, was told my water cooler pump was out(it was) and that they were going to replace it. what i was not told is that they were replacing the part with a part of their choosing and i was not consulted when they put a watercooled radiator 2/3rds the size of the one i had in with 1/5th the cooling fans, their part was also 30 dollars more then replacing the same brand and type of my own. so im out 200 for the work they did and the smaller pump price when my cooler was currently under warranty (deepcool sent out free replacement )and just spent the better part of a day rebuilding my pc from scratch to undo their shoddy work (they did diagnose it correctly though), their cable management was cruddy and parts were hooked up wrong and i was not even given all the parts and documentation for the NEW ones they put in so i would have to say not worth peoples time unless your bringing them a cell phone. IF you do use them make sure to get everything in writing so you dont end up with inferior/different parts then you expected feel like i got the old bait and switch, with my own work and parts its now running much cooler and efficiently then what i paid them to do
If you go into this place to buy anything, you better know more than they do, because if they give you bad advise, youre going to pay for it.I went in to buy a hard drive enclosure but wasnt sure what type of drive it was. After talking to one of their reps, he said he was almost positive that it was an SATA drive and sold me a $30 model. (You can get a better one on new egg.com for $13) And if its the wrong one, you can always return it. Sounded great. What he didnt tell me is if I took his advise and he was wrong, they would charge me 15% to make the return and they call it a restocking fee. The shelf I got it from is five feet behind the counter.A restocking fee is something retail establishments used to charge people for opening boxes or the hassle of making a notation in the books. But none of those are relevant now. Wholesalers replace open boxes and POS systems record everything. The restocking fee began to lose luster in the 70s with malls and increased competition. They became almost nonexistent in the 80s with the advent of the big box store and when internet shopping came on, any store that charged one of these fees could be found nearly guilty of theft and al the least should be avoided at all costs. When the guy rang up my return (minus what should have been a $4.50 fee) I noticed that he returned too much money to me. I said, I should probably keep my mouth shut, but I cant take this, its more money than I spent. Fifteen minutes later, I had to sign for another $8.50 charge on my card to rectify their mistake and, yes, they still charged me the restocking fee. So much for being honest. They must really need my four bucks.A restocking fee is something businesses charge when they are not confident in their ability to be successful to just provide good service, good products and good advise. Since I got none of these, perhaps their lack of confidence is warranted. RadioActive should be avoided at all costs. You can get better prices, better service and better advise on computers from a teenager in electronics down the road at WalMart. And you wont have to pay for bad advise.
I am able to talk to d
Great service, great people
Takes forever to get a hold of anyone on the phone which is frustrating when they dont give you any updates on your item after you take it in to get fixed
Their selection was way too expensive
Small. Cluttered.
