Went to see if someone could come out to our place and give us an estimate. That didnt happen, the guy said he could give us a ball park figure. What do I need a ball park figure for, I already know that somewhere between 1.99 and 20,000 dollars. Left our phone number for the gal to call us about getting someone out and scheduling it for spring. No one has call in 2 weeks. Forget these jokers and find someone else!

If you desire shoddy work that wont hold up, this is the place for you. Management laughs at you as you are speaking and interrupts you. It may help if you have a man call. My male neighbor friend was quoted several hundred dollars cheaper to do the same exact job as a female. Both the owner and General Manager Ryan were rude and condescending each time I have called to ask for help. My gate was put in with only brackets and screws. Most companies use a metal roofing screw or something of that nature with rubber gasket like material to absorb the pressure from the gate opening and shutting- that makes sense right? Mild fence prefers to cut corners instead. All of my screws have stripped out and are on the ground. My gate is coming apart. They will tell you that they dont do what box stores do. Ryan says Box Stores use a 4x4 board inside to support the fence, they prefer to use hollow, thicker vinyl fencing on its own. I can tell you, it will not hold up. I could also tell that he has had to defend using only thicker vinyl more than once, as defensive as he was as soon as we started our conversation. Picture included is how they chose to anchor my gate post. The fact that they would even begin to think that this would be ok is very telling of the entire company. I will tell you that for this project, I was NOT on a budget. I did not ask to have corners cut. They cut corners to put money in their pocket, not help me, I assure you. To the friendly female that answered at Mild Fence, bless you. You were kind and were the only positive experience I had with them.

I dont know who they were doing work for but they parked in front of my driveway and were blocking it. I had to move my car to get my husbands car out. Please pay attention to where your people are parking. And btw they didnt even ask if its okay to park there.

I own a fencing company in Canada and have been coming to Mild Fence since 2010 to get my fencing product. Ive bought thousands of feet of fence from them and they have always been reasonable and fair with me. The Crew that they have is polite and helpful. I needed some chain link top rail, brought in a fixture for them to verify the pipe diameter I needed, and they had me sorted in under a minute!Their price per lineal foot was CHEAPER than both local box stores, and they custom cut to length while I waited!I was truly amazed and grateful that this business is here, and you should look them up first before the box stores!

I would not recommend Mild Fence Company. I had a very small project and it took them 10 weeks to complete it, they only did 2/3 of the quoted work but billed me for the full amount. They screwed up the job several times, installed the wrong fence, refused to call or text when they were coming and were very unprofessional. Management was also unresponsive and it was a struggle to get them to correct their mistakes. Ive had friends that have had similar experiences. Hard pass - Id suggest going somewhere else for your fencing needs.

I have had Mild Fence do quite a bit of farm fencing, as well as commercial vinyl and chain link. I find their pricing to be reasonable and the quality of their work to be excellent. They installed 3 rail wood fence for me in very rocky ground. Every post was straight as an arrow and the fence followed the contours beautifully. How they did that in that rocky ground is beyond me and the speed with which they put it up was amazing! Those guys are so good at what they do. The crew was so nice and respectful of our property. I am a fan of these guys.

Great people, just a bit of a small yard but overall good place

If you need a fence or fencing materials then Mild fences is the place to go for it. We just had them install 100 foot of of two rail fence in front of our business and it looks great. The crew did an excellent job and knew what they were doing.

Mild Fence installed over 400 feet of 6 black chainlink fence for us with six gates. Since one gate was slightly too big they built and installed another. Everyone from the original bidder to office personnel to site forman to installers were completely professional.throughout. The price was better than the competition, too.

I have the most beautiful fence in my neighborhood.6 white vinyl with the costume design in front..the workers listened to every detail of what I wanted and helped me with a couple of adjustments to make it perfect for me..I have little yappie dogs and was concerned with the gaps between the gate and fence post that my dogs would be looking through there and barking at whatever was on the other side..Mile fence came right out and put vinyl backing on my gate to block that.. I was very impressed at how beautiful of a job that was..I also discovered one of the panels had a little split in the bottom of it. again Mile fence came out and fixed it right away..Thank you Mild fence ...You guys are AWESOME !!

I would bet their crews are hard working boys but the guy answering the phone was a complete rude SOB, we fenced our 60 acres with another company.

Luckily I counted my load before I left the yard cause I was 11 posts short. Posts are pretty inconsistent. I dont think Ill buy any wood products from here again.

These guys are wonderful, kind and personable staff . I called them in to have them finish another job that I started with another company but didn’t finish it, they came right away they had to redo the whole fence because the first company didn’t do it properly The men were working in the rain and the cold in order to get my fence up . They are awesome I highly recommend them.

Mild Fence Company finished our fencing job in 2 days, the came on time and finished on time. The gentleman that did the work where polite and professional. We feel their price was very reasonable. We would surely use them again and recommed them to our friends.

They are trying to monopolize the fence industry in Kalispell. Mild Fence quoted me double (!!) the amount that Boundary Line Fence quoted me for the exact same project (not to mention Mild Fence was rude and acted like they were doing me a favor.) I highly recommend everyone get several quotes before choosing Mild Fence.

Our recent experience with Mild Fence Co. was a 10 ! The measurement and discussion as to options available was made at my convenience in spite of late winter storms. The firm bid arrived and was exactly as discussed! When construction was to begin we were advised as to anticipated timetable. When lead man “ Whalen” arrived he talked us through the job to insure we were on the same page and he met the neighbor we were sharing the project with to gain their concurrence. I would give this review more stars for attentive service but I was disappointed in the materials used in our wooden slat fence. My hometown is Kalispell as is my retirement home, but I live and work in California now so I purposely come home to oversee and follow up on any improvements. When I originally went in to talk to Mild Fence a couple of years ago, I told them I did not want “dog eared” boards... but when I returned later in the year to see the crew in the progress, they had installed all dog eared lumber. No, it wasn’t writt3n on our contract but I even showed them originally what I wanted. But, Too late to tear down. Later, many months later, the boards began to warp and shrink. Now, I’m told that Mild gets them, the finished sections, uncured and they aren’t completely dry. The sections of board panels are attached before they are completely dry...I wasn’t told this when I first inquired but now I’m seeing wide gaps up to 3/4” in many boards, as well as some warping. This spring I added my last section. It had to match, so I was stuck with the same “wet” lumber . It’s too late for me now. I’ll try to plant tall flowers or shrubs to cover up the spacing and warping but be aware that this happens. I was disappointed that I was not told about this. I would have used dry individual lumber, planks if I had known. We stained the wood to coordinate with the house after a few weeks, and it looks nice...but not the gaps I’m now finding everywhere. I would have been willing to pay more but I did not know that this is how they build this type of fence. It just makes it look really cheap...and it wasn’t. And, I’m not really happy.

Their pricing is exorbitant and their service is poor. They feel they can take advantage of you if you dont know any better.

So we decided to go with Mild Fence as they are the only company in the area who does fence work. They came by and put the fence posts in when they said they would. Unfortunately when leaving they left 2 large piles of cement in the alley access and all of my neighbors complained a couple days after they left. The cement pile is STILL THERE, even after mentioning it to them TWICE. We scheduled with them again to come to our house to finish up the fence and clean up their mess. We asked for a red wood fence, they brought cedar. When I asked the foreman why this had happened he said he never heard anything about redwood, even though we were very specific. By the time we had figured out it was cedar they had already put up half of the fence. The half of the fence they did put up was very shotty work with misaligned boards, multiple nails in the same place, and large gaps. Mild Fence gave us a discount and we decided to just move forward with cedar. I thought this would be the end of this experience of incompetence, but I was wrong. They said they would come by on Friday (today) to finally finish up the fence and clean up their mess. I am sitting here at 7 PM and no one showed up. No one even called me to try to reschedule. Mild Fence is clearly abusing its monopoly on the market in the area. My advice would be to read up on how to build your own fence and do it yourself.
