I was blown away with how helpful, courteous, knowledgeable staff at Machine Guns Montana! They allowed me to check out every gun I wanted and assisted me with adding some extras on a rifle I bought. Patrick them assembled to new parts for no extra charge. I would 10/10 recommend doing business with these amazing people. Brent the owner is a shining example of how the gun industry should be I appreciate Machine Guns Montana, and I know you will too!

My father asked me to go with him to look at a new gun to buy because I told him to look at a specific model. I was the first to ask the manager if they had the gun in stock. I was then asked by the manager if I was a Montana resident. I said, no and his tone immediately changed. He answered my questions with answeres like, depends on your preference. He wouldnt give us any pros and cons; just ambiguous answers. We felt like we were wasting his time. My father is a Montana resident and a repeat customer.... Disappointing service

Brent and the team at Machine Gun Montana are a real class act. The Good: This gun shop works hard at suppling the valley with ammo and they do a great job. During this difficult time of an ammo shortage, they actually get ammo in every week! And heres the cool part NO PRICE GOUGING! Its regularly priced which is a refreshing thing to see. Its true you have to get there a few minutes before opening to get some, because it sells out quickly, but that is way better than spending 3 times the price or getting none at all. The staff is very friendly and truly appreciate you as you leave their store. They dont put up with bullies, as Ive seen them kindly ask people to be nice, when customers get sassy. Their powder selection is second to none and they even have primers weekly. Do yourself a favor and visit Brent and the staff!

Best prices in the Flathead valley. My husband and I have purchased 3 handguns from MGM and we saw the same guns at least $30 more at Murdochs and Sportsmans. Brent and Patrick are so helpful and knowledgeable and weve left happy with every purchase. MGM is a reliable, private and efficient place to make your hardware purchases. In fact, Im going back today when they open to hopefully add to the collection!

Bought my first AR here today. And I have never felt more welcomed into a place in my life. The hospitality was something I cant even put into words. What I believed was the owner, was an amazing guy who helped me through the process and gave me great tips about owning my first rifle. I would recommend this place to anyone, plus you cant beat the prices!

Called ahead for a part, simple thing about $5.I called ahead because I live 25 miles from their shop. Ended up browsing and spent another $300.When I made the 25 mile drive home, I found that they didnt put the part in the bag I drove all the way out for. Called today about it and they offered no apology or any compensatory action, even though this is *now* a $45 part for the fuel I wasted.Off to pick up a spring... again.Itll be my last visit if they were the last gun shop on Earth. Snappys would have comped it.

Good variety, great deals, and excellent customer service. I was able to try a stock out before buying just to see how I liked it. Extremely helpful with all my questions too! I couldnt ask for a better place to shop. Prices were hard to beat both locally and online.

First time visit and will be the last. Understand the low inventory of product but so very rude about it. Felt like it was an inconvenience to ask about possible on hand items. Would not feel sorry if they go out of business.

We went in today to chat with Brent and found him to be a fellow Shelby vehicle lover, which was awesome!Great selection in all price ranges, really cool guns, lots of reloading supplies and the knowledge to go with it.I really enjoyed the number of local companies represented and the emphasis on working with small businesses is great.

Went in to see about setting up a build. I “was” a repeat customer. Store owner kicked me out when I asked if he could work with pricing if I bought multiple of a product. Wasn’t trying to negotiate a deal just asking about pricing. Completely disrespectful and rude. Go somewhere else if you want good service. They don’t appreciate local repeat customers or have the ability to have a civil conversation before they kick/ threaten to trespass a customer.

Made a purchase from them through GunBroker and they couldnt be more helpful in the process. Shipping to California can be difficult for many things, but instead of just saying they wouldnt ship to CA like many do, they worked with me to ensure everything would be legal. Pleasurable experience end to end. Definitely would purchase from them again!

The owner is very friendly and very knowledgeable. More than willing to talk and crack a joke. They had great prices and are willing to work with you. Had a great selection of firearms. He also threw in some free goodies as a thank you. Very pleased with my experience and will shop here again.

Went in looking for some 5.56 or .223 and the young guy there said they wouldn’t have any until Tuesday or Wednesday. I was leaving and then the owner piped up and said “Sunday!” I looked and said “Sunday?” knowing they were closed Sundays. I said “Okay, you mean tomorrow or a week from tomorrow?” He says “A week.” I said “Thanks.” and walked out. Trying to keep business local and the guy doesn’t want my business, that’s fine.

This is very well run business and while I cannot speak to the in-store experience, I can confidently say that if youre ordering items from them via GunBroker they are good to go. Extremely fast FFL transfer, communication, and shipping to my LGS, even during the difficult COVID times. I would absolutely buy from them again, and if youre considering a purchase from this store, they are absolutely legit.

Great place and great people!! If you have never seen a real Mini Gun, you need to visit! They also have the best selection of firearms in the valley! Paired with employees who have extensive knowledge about their products, this it the best gun shop in Montana.

Machine Guns Montana is the most complete Firearms and reloading shop in the Flathead Valley. Friendly and knowledgable staff who have a great attitude. Top of the line brands and very competitive prices. If you havent been to the shop yet, I highly recommend you check it out, you wont be disappointed.

Was told they would take care of me. They did not. Was told they would help me. They did not. Was told they would ship to me. They would not. This was all regarding an intra-familiar transfer. 3 strikes right off the bat. I will NOT be doing business with Machine Guns Montana ever again. On a positive note, Brent is a very nice gentleman and great to talk to.

This place is amazing. You can come in and enjoy fresh black rifle coffee and talk guns. The people are very welcoming and a great store to go in to when in the market for a firearm.

Went there to purchase pistol ammo while I was talking to the salesman about the ammo he said they were out of stock then right next to me another customer purchased the ammo I was asking about I asked the salesman you said you were sold out then he replied he buys alot of guns from us so I wasnt able to purchase the ammo I needed it was frustrating to watch them sell it to someone else but not me how will I become a good customer if you dont sell me the stuff I come there for was disappointed in the service guess they take care of old customers there not too interested in making new customers thats my guess

I have done a lot of business and have established a very good working relationship with the individual who owns this store. He is of world class personality and has very eccentric taste in firearms and knows exactly what the customer wants and is always happy to oblige.

Havent been to the physical location, but their communication, customer service and selection is outstanding! Highly recommend and will be making a trip in May to finally hit up the store!

Great place with great people, fantastic customer service, and low prices. Lots of display guns, sought-after current models, suppressors, and outstanding reloading powder selection (where else can you get VV in person?). My only small quibble is they charge you $25 per gun for a transfer that involves multiple guns shipped together. You can put up to 4 guns on a 4473, and Cabelas will do 2 for the same flat price of $25 as long as theyre shipped together and its one transaction, so why does MMM charge $50 for a 2-gun transfer? I could see $30, but not $50. Maybe they misquoted me?

I was impressed on the selection for a small shop in kalispell. There prices are extremely reasonable I purchased my nightforce SHV $200 cheaper than any place I could source including online. There Glock pistols are hundreds cheaper than Cabelas.The best part was there hospitality you feel welcome there is not any arrogance or stuck up attitude. So many times I go to a guy shop the counter men are so full of them selves I just wont buy anything from them. Not MGM they welcome you to feel like you can ask the dumbest of questions and they will give you a straight answer.This will be the only place I buy guns in the flathead valley.
