I purchased a kitchen aid stand up mixer a few years back. It sat on my kitchen counter for three years unused as I had moved to north Dakota for work. I just got back and have begun using my mixer. It is smoking and the mix speed is sporadic. I called to see what they would do about a replacement. All they told me was the factory warranty is 2 years so there was nothing they could do. Now in my managerial experience, if I personally dont want to take the financial fall of faulty equipment, I contact the manufacturer of the product for my customer. If they refuse to take care of it, I take the fall for the customer. That is good customer service. Instead I had to contact kitchen aid. They sent a replacement no charge right away and a free shipping label to send the old one back.So many local businesses push the shop local agenda but paying a higher local price and having to do my own warranty work isnt worth it. I will definitely be shopping online or from Costco (excellent warranty team) from now on.

Employees dont wear masks so I left asap when I noticed. What does it matter if their products are NSF when their employees are not practicing safe sanitation standards in the middle of a pandemic.

After buying a refrigerator from them and needing repair, they lied to me and to the manufacturer about scheduling the repair, causing a two-week delay to the warranty repair (BIG deal if you run a restaurant). Service manager hung up on me twice when I refused to move on from “did you lie to them about scheduling?”. He refused to answer and I refused to continue dealing with them until I received a clear answer.

Really cool location to find the more obscure items you might need in your kitchen. Public is welcome and prices are cheap!
