My wife and I enjoyed our first meal at Stefari this morning and we loved it! Warm and inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and phenomenal coffee. We look forward to returning later this year when we are back in the area. Thank you for great food and great service!

Perfect little place to sit and get some homework done. Great coffee, awesome atmosphere, the best music, and the cutest views! The owners are super sweet. I drive 35 minutes just to go here.

I came in on a Wednesday around 1pm. There was ample seating and the staff was knowledgeable. The atmosphere is cozy and quant. They do have vegetarian options. There are two seating rooms. One room is very bright while the other one has a more dim secluded feel. Perfect for introverts or even those who just want a moment alone. I for one sat in the secluded room to knit in peace. I ordered a salad and black coffee. Both were very good. I highly recommend this cafe.

Best latte in town and they have a very good food menu. I stop in every time I come down from up north.

It was okay. everything was overpriced for me. i loved the vibe and the eclectic feel of it all, but i just felt really out of place with the modern hipster vibe. if youre into that, youd love it. perhaps ill be back and give it another try.

What a find! Stefari is a dining gem in old Kankakee (just up the street from the Paramount Cinema). The drinks are amazing (I had the chai with coconut milk) and the food was even better! UPDATE: Another great meal at a great price!

Best coffee around. I’m so glad this cafe is here, around Bourbonnais, it’s the best place to go to. Great place to work and study. There’s also a barber and ice cream shop in the same building so there’s some others things close by. There’s simply no better place to go around here.

First time here. The shop holds a very nice aesthetic and the coffee is good! Typical pricing for a small coffee shop. Also, the music choice is very nice :) I’ll be back. The only think I’d knock it for is that the employees could show a little more friendliness to new faces!

Very cute place. I went to Stefari because I had a gift card, otherwise I didnt know they existed. I ordered the honey bee latte, which was delicious. I also ordered the turkey brie and turkey cranberry panini Togo. Both were good. Id go again!

Extremely friendly staff. They have outdoor seating that is properly spaced. They were also extremely accommodating of our dog and let him sit with us in the outdoor seating.

It’s a great place to sit and relax and hangout. The food and coffee are both amazing and the service is even better! It’s a place where you feel welcome as if you were their family! If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out!

Every drink Ive had here has been amazing. Great selection of non-dairy milks. Best white mocha Ive ever had - usually theyre sickly sweet - but Stefaris is delicious all the way to the last drop! The food is great as well. Nice atmosphere with plenty of seating.

Amazing food and staff. I had a lavender latte (made with local lavender) and an egg and cheese sandwich. The barrista was super accommodating when I asked her to suggest things even though I took forever to decide. Even though I was just passing through if I’m in the area I will definitely go back!

Really great coffee. Friendly people. Only one comfy love seat, the rest are hard wooden chairs. They should also stay open past 5. My work schedule only lets me go in on my days off. Be prepared to offer a tip since their automated cc system makes it hard not to.

The coffee is amazing and they serve quality food as well. The interior is quite comfortable and gives off a calm atmosphere. Ive had good experiences here every time I have went, so I do enjoy coming back. The food options are limited - I would like to see just a little bit more, personally either in the baked goods or breakfast. Additionally it is a bit pricey, but with a decent rewards system it does alleviate that aspect a little bit. I really hope this business lasts and continues to improve!

Better than average for a craft shop, which means for Kankakee the coffee here is the best around. Friendly staff, good selection of custom coffees, extra seating in back room, classic coffee shop atmosphere. I will be back for sure.

I believe the cafe is under new ownership and it is better than ever! Such a unique restaurant both in atmosphere and cuisine and quite popular. Our little group is planning to go there every month! I had breakfast toast, which looked like marble rye, with arugula, roasted tomatoes and pine nuts and a fantastic latte. We each really liked our breakfast choices.

The food is delicious and amazing the decor makes you feel at home and its a relaxing environment and is good to go if you want to get away and just relax and work on things. I gave this place five stars because it was the best I have ever gone to I would go back here again over and over again. This place is literally a joke. Very over price for the food they offer, very limited menu choices. Also, the employees show favoritism to there regulars which is not cool at all with me being new to this area. The last few times I stop in I notice a new employee face which is not good sign for a small business in this county. I also had ask 1 of the employee about one of Paninis sandwiches she was so short with me. I would never go back again. Rude employees, awful service, Very overpriced. Please hire a whole new staff.

Visited for the first time and had the best breakfast and lattes ever. The staff was so accommodating and sweet, I had to tell them how amazing they were. Very nice place to bring family and hang out outside and have a nice small meal.

Excellent cafe in downtown Kankakee! A must stop if youre in the area. They sell locally sourced food and coffee and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. My favorite coffee shop in town! This cafe is so beautiful with such tasty coffee and treats! It is a bright, airy, comfortable, and welcoming space to individuals of all ages. The blueberry muffin was super fluffy and delicious. Ari and Stefen are such kind people and great owners.

Awesome place, very cute atmosphere (very Pinterest) with two very different feeling rooms. One very bright and full of windows, the other much more dim and lit with string lights (good for studying). Coffee is of course fantastic. Food is tasty and healthy. Has many outlets for all your charging needs. So great to finally once again have an alternative to the 4 starbucks in town. A must stop if you need a coffee break.

Great coffee and bites, but the seating is uncomfortable with everything being hard metal chairs. There is one love-seat couch (good luck getting it) . I would love to spend more time here, but none of the metal chairs invite me to stay a while to thoroughly enjoy my coffee.

I was looking for a place to work remotely for a few hours after court in Kankakee and was thrilled to find this place! Its bright and clean, with strong wifi, good sandwiches, and heavenly craft lattes.

My wife enjoyed the turkey cranberry panini but my BLT was a little dry. It could have used more mayonnaise or special spread.

I love the soup recipes from the owners mom and the toasts-one slice of yummy whole grain bread schmeared with your choice of toppings like dill cream cheese and avocado..my favorite . Metric coffee brewed in Chicago and freshly brewed teas are great and unusual, particularly in a food dessert like Kankakee.

The Gingerbread Latte is now my favorite Christmas drink ever :)

A nice cozy place offering sandwiches, salads, breakfast and coffee in a variety of brews. I highly recommend the caprese panini.

I had the Turkey brie apple panini and it was ok. However, their soup of the day was disappointing. It was luke warm and had a distinct taste that left a bad taste in my mouth. The staff and atmosphere was wonderful though.
