Its So sad 10/23/21 is their last day. They arent closing because of ALDI but because there will be no more save a lot stores in the charlotte/greater charlotte area. Grew up with save a lot before Aldi in another state. I finally got to a save a lot store closing sale! Usually they dont announce why they close without notice. Prices are a bit high compare to ALDI but have a similar concept. Ill go to save a lot if I pass one anywhere

A very good Save-A-Lot. Wish there were more around. I generally grab their Crystal Falls water(used to be named something else).Sometimes they have good deals for Toaster Strudel & other foods/condiments.Try something new from here, it is generally good.Havent been to many Save-A-Lots but this 1 is 2nd best so far.Best 1 Ive been to is in Crystal River Florida.Id definitely go there more often IF they start to accept American Express cards. That is my biggest complaint.

Store is closing on 10/23/21 i guess because aldi is right down the street and there are no more stores in Charlotte or greater charlotte. This store is still overprice but used my $5 off $25 coupon. The selection was poor too one hazelnut creamer and one plain yogurt

I cant believe all of Save a lots in North Carolina are closing forever that is rediculas what is going on is that food chain going out of business everywhere or just in our state is there anyone out there that knows the answer to this question

Cashier more interested in smoking than waiting on customers line long 8 to 10 people in line cashier went to smoke and left man on register horrible

Pretty nice little place if you want to buy some cheap groceries quick.They have some unique stuff, too. Its small and a little dirty, though. Its not crowded.

I shopped here every week for the past 10 years, it is very sad to see it close. Lots of memories.

Great place to buy limited items, and shop for those unexpected items. With that being said, this isnt the store to shop for the items on your shopping list. I guess thats a fair trade for affordable groceries

This store is great! I hadnt had steak in months due to the high prices covid has caused. Each week savalot has some meat special and on Fathers day t bones were on sale for 3.99 a pound. Thanks for making it affordable to eat steak again. Love this store.

This is at least a once a month stop, if not more. Staff are friendly and hard working. No unnecessary clutter, easy to find items and good prices. My family and I will be a regular as we have been for a while now. Thanks!

This is the best place to go on order to save money in your grocery bill. I especially like the variety that they have on there snacks. We can get right in and right out. I have been shopping here for years and I tell people about it. Their meats are reasonable.

The manager Nick, has very poor customer service. At 36 weeks pregnant, my case of Sprite broke right in front of his register and busted. I quickly reacted, without any comment from him and took it too the trash can. I asked if I could get another case. He responded “I don’t know why you threw that away.” I told him it was busted and he didn’t not say otherwise. He continued to lolly gag around get the cleaner out of the back, before getting a wet floor sign. And then came back to the front when I asked how we could resolve this issue, and he said customer safety was first. I understand that, but his approach to customer safety was backwards. And his customer service was poor. After I watched him do everything else before helping me, I point blank said I’m going to get a case of soda, sorry to waste you time. He said ok. Could we not have fixed that from the start? I’m not sure how he is a manager, no professionalism. I won’t be going back. ALDI is my choice.

I love my little neighborhood grocery store. Really good produce at really good prices and a fantastic meat selection. Much prefer going in there if I need something quick then the big boxes. Rock on little neighborhood grocery! Seriously going to enjoy my $0.59 pineapples.

I love save a lot like the next person, I just wish their produce section was a little better. Their meat section as well as rest of the store is amazing. Lowest in town. 😁

They had what I needed but its a shame they start charging you for bags now. Some of the items are cheaper in Walmart where the bags are free.

My parents loved shopping at save a lot.. It was their favorite store. But yesterday my dad went there and now they make you bag youre own stuff.. Which upset him, its crazy to ask customers to bag their stuff. You wont care because youre a greedy company. But you lost a great, loyal customer. A lot of people within my neighorhood is not happy about this, so you will probably lose more customers. But I know my comment will go through one ear and out the other. But my mom wanted me to complain.

I love the store and shop here weekly. One criticism though-the last two times Eye of Round roasts were on sale our store didnt get them or only got one box. I was VERY disappointed! I buy my meats here weekly and expect to buy whats on sale

The prices here are very affordable and although they have started the bag-ur-own groceries (like Aldi) its still the grocery store I prefer...

I always shop here

Good food for the most part. Be wary of the fresh fruit and vegetables. Cereal is always a great deal here. The wait in line will probably take as long as the actual shopping. Rarely more than one register open regardless of volume of business.

No frills food shopping. Good quality. Good selection of name brands as well as some pretty good knock offs; especially the cereal! Excellent meat department!

I dont like the fact that before you can get inside the store and sometimes smell like a sewer pipe busted in the front somewhere and it really turns your stomach off to shopping for food within the store which does not smell like that. But entering the store everything is set up pretty nicely the fresh fruits, to the fresh meat, and then the lower price stuff like some decently priced Meats and things like that but all in all its a great place to go grocery shopping.

Grocery store set up to be like aldi same kind of place with discount food and meats. Lots of frozen food selections and good produce pricing. Good place to save money on food.

Decent food...very inexpensive prices. The produce is fresh. I refuse to buy meat at Wal-Mart, but buy it here with no problem.

Great prices, but the bathroom is horrible. I would not even let me dog use the bathroom in there. The service is very nice, but super slow due to only having one register open most of the time.

They will let you stand in line with two items behind people with heaping carts rather than open another lane, you can see them by the manager area pretending to be too busy to get on a register. The liver mush goes bad very fast, there is no sugar free flavored coffee creamer

Meats at a great price and its not all fat theres an even meat fat ratio. I got 2 steaks for about 3.60 to 4.12 but they were huge
