This party store is the best in town. They have everything and their staff is so helpful. They ask everyone who walks in the door what they are looking for and then direct them. Brookside location drive about the same as if I drove to Johnson County.

Helpful, attentive, and great product. Had no issue blowing up balloons bought elsewhere for a very specific themed shower. Definitely would recommend them for anything party-related!

I called 7 minutes before close. The lady answered all my questions and was so polite and compassionate. Thank you. I really appreciate her during this rough time for me. You never know what kindness can do for someone.

Im writing from half-way across the country to say that the employees and managers of Brookside Party Warehouse are just the absolute best. When my dog ate my daughters first Christmas ornament I searched the internet and called dozens of stores nearby to try and find a replacement. My search took me from NYC to Kansas City, where I found this store. I called them- on New Years Eve, and despite it being one of their busiest days of the year, they dropped everything to help me. Sure enough, they had the personalized ornament in stock and mailed it to me, free of charge. It was the most thoughtful, unexpected, and touching gesture Ive received from any business. Know that when you shop here, you are supporting some of the kindest, most thoughtful people around! Ill never forget it! Thank you again for giving me a Christmas miracle and brightening my dark 2020!

I love this place! And the store manager is always kind to me. They have always been resourceful for when I needed decorative items for office parties or church functions. All they need now is a website. And they have such terrific team! Always friendly and helpful.

I came in without an order and asked what kind of birthday balloons did they have. The lady at the counter got me squared away in 15 minutes and the prices are great for a quick birthday balloon, giant golden K, and two pink balloons! One word: Andrea! I was looking for balloons for my daughters unicorn themed bday party. I did a google search and found this shop. I made a call and spoke with Andrea. She was so helpful and even sent me an email with pictures of all of the unicorn options. When we arrived she provided excellent service from the minute we walked into the door. She and her coworkers would even offer to help take balloons out to the customers cars. Andrea is a perfectionist! She even went as far as coming out and noticing that one of the balloons could have been a little more perfect, took the balloon inside and completely replaced it! Listen, if you want true concierge service, then this is the place for you. All these years, Ive given my money to chain companies like Party city who could care less about making sure you. It was such a blessing to find this Kansas City gem of a store! Take your business there! You will not be disappointed! If I had any critique, it would be that I wished they had a website, but again, (maybe Im old fashioned, I was born in 83) there was something refreshing about just calling on the phone and actually having a person help you on the phone! Five stars all the way!

Oh my gosh! The women who took care of us was by far the best I have ever had in a long long time. Not only does she know her inventory but she also is excellent at the whole balloon display and arrangement. Awesome!

First thing I think of when I hear Brookside Party Warehouse is EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am an event coordinator and I have never had a bad experience. They are amazing to work with and they know their products and the business. Always willing to give advice and answer any questions without hesitation. If you need help with balloons, decorations, serving ware, etc, Brookside Party Warehouse is the place to go!

Had an appointment to meet with the manager today. Gal up front with purple hair was incredibly rude to me and told me I didnt have an appt because the manager wasnt working today! When I asked when she may be back in, I was told that I looked like a salesman and to leave. I have been a business owner for 31 years and have NEVER been treated as rudely as I was today. Gave 1 star because I couldnt give 0. Advise to take your business where it is appreciated, as it certainly isnt here.

Great place for party items! They have an abundance of paper goods, both solid and themed/printed. Plenty of fun mylar 🎈 🎈 as well as the regular kind.The staff really knows their merchandise. They were very helpful!

Didnt appreciate the service I received today. They were out of the gold number 1 candles so I went to the front counter to ask if they could search in their inventory for another possible number 1 candle and before I could even complete my SENTENCE I was cut off by the assistant manager Andrea whom rudely informed me that they dont have anything and there is nothing in stock. I also witnessed her taking my order for balloons and throwing it back in a basket. She informed the young girl at the counter that she better not be blowing up any balloons without them being paid for. Unsure if Andrea realized that those balloons were mine and I was about to purchase them. Needless to say, I am a paying customer and the magnitude of her rude demeanor isnt appropriate nor professional. First visit in a long time and I wont be returning. I will take my business elsewhere to someone who is willing to assist without an attitude.

Brookside Party Warehouse has been my go to party supply store for years. But today Jeri (the owner I believe) went above and beyond to help me out and I just wanted to spread the word. Its this kind of service that you miss out on in the chain stores. Give your party supply business to them you will be glad you did!

I didnt remember I wrote a review before about this place and came back to give it 5 stars, because of the GREAT customer service. They went out of their way for me a second time. Reeaallly out of their way too! I was very grateful and impressed.

Very disappointed. Got a huge number balloon that was obviously defective and popped 10 min after I got it. It did not touch anything it was just sitting and popped. I was not offered a refund or anything after spending $30 in there store when I could’ve easily went to Walmart. Cheap things and terrible customer service.
