The first time I ever came to this shop I need about 3 feet of wire, I believe they said it was around $10. When I got to the shop they just handed it to me at no charge. Since then I’ve had a few things done and I will always use this shop! Today I got a new radio that was 449 at Best Buy for $399 through these guys. A few months ago they took care of my alarm on another car. Thanks for all the help guys!

Called in with a Mercedes wiring nightmare. Crutchfield couldn’t help me. Forums couldn’t help me. Was about to bring it in to have CJ’s take a look. The guy asks me what’s going on with it. Immediately he tells me my car shuts down all accessory power after a certain amount of time and that I need to find a constant 12v and tap into it. He could have let me bring the car in and charged me. Instead he was more than willing to share some insight and now my problem is fixed. Very much appreciated and would DEFINITELY recommend.

Worse place to get your car worked on.. the guys dont even know what theyre doing. They messed up my car and and didnt want to even give me my money back. Trust me go to the other CJ on gessner. Dont waste your money here.

The radio came loose under the dash and broke the bezel. Jorge said he could put turn signal cameras but only put birds eye view cameras that are not legible. I offered to pay extra but says they dont make cameras to work with the radio he sold me. The 1st thing I asked Jorge is that I wanted a radio and cameras for backup, turn signals and a front camera for parking. I am very disappointed.

I had a car alarm problem. They solved it quickly. Total time in their shop less than 30 minutes. Counter man was knowledgeable, professional and polite. Price was reasonable as well.

3 cars done. Each got progressively more difficult and they get the job done at a fair price if its a small easy job or an all day deal. They are busy so first come first served. If you need audio installation work, there are my go to guys.

I was very impressed from experience with CJ Sounds Katy. They were my third quote for a factory system upgrade in a family vehicle. Jorge walked me through the available options for our car, his candor about other hardware I had considered was greatly appreciated. When we settled on a system, he offered the best turnkey deal in town.I was in and out in three hours, amazing considering I was estimating a full day to do the install myself. I guess that is what you get when you go to a pro. The installation looked like a factory job, clean and precise. Jorge spent about 5 minutes going over the equipment, we were out the door and on the road.I had been debating on whether to change the factory stereo in my own car, this experience made the difference, Ill be going back there for more business.

My truck sound system stopped connecting with the Bluetooth and gave an error message. I went to one place that told me it would cost $125. At CJ Sounds the technician took five minutes to correct it and at no cost.

Great place for car audio. Help me with my alarm. Though didnt do good finishing but still was way lot cheap and quick. The staffs are friendly.

Everyone was very respectful & kind even when I asked a million questions. My windows were tinted perfectly and if there is any issue I know I can go back and they would kindly help me out again.

Went in for window tinting, the job came out to expectations. However, that is not the issue. The issue for me was that whoever was installing the tint thought it was ok to use and connect his personal phone to my vehicles media system. I did not go in for a radio installation, so i was confused as to why he.would have done that. Personally, i thought that disrespectful. Additionally, i had to come back in to.return the phone he had left in my vehicle. I did not get a apology. I dont think i will be coming back to this particular location. My recommendation to the owner is: remember that customer service goes a long way if you want repeat business. Train the staff to show respect for customers belongings.

They hooked up the sounds on my 2018 Harley Davidson Streetglide with Rockford Fosgate kit which included (2) 6.5 front speakers, amp, and (2) 6x9s in my saddlebags. Sounds amazing, extremely loud and nice quality at all speeds on the bike.

My family and I have always used another tinting place for numerous vehicles and not once was the work not exceptional, one and done, never had to take back. New to this area and based on reviews decided to go to CJs due to time and distance, mistake was mine. Like many others have noted the staff was really nice, professional and price on par but quality of work is not there. Windows never rolled down for full 7 days as instructed but if you had tint done enough times, you can tell after 4-5 days from visual inspection how things will pan out. My windows were not cleaned properly so lint can be seen clearly, small bubbles at the corners and edges. Made an appt, brought back and requested both windows redone. Instead only one side was replace and requested I wait another 2 weeks for full curing time on the other side before another inspection. Now almost 2 weeks later, even the replaced side is just not right. The window trim and panel was not properly put back in place securely, had to figure it out myself. Maybe Im picky but why shouldnt I be on a new vehicle that you have saved up for, you want things just right.

I do not typically write referrals, but this will be the exception. Most referrals are written based on results vs. expectation. My expectations were greatly exceeded.I purchased a used 2014 Ford Fiesta for my daughter from AutoNation Toyota 3 years ago and just learned the dome light never worked when the doors were opened. I took it to AutoNation Ford, Katy to have the dome light repaired. After paying the $139.95 diagnostic fee, I was told the problem appeared to be an improperly installed aftermarket alarm (which I didn’t realize was in the car). The cost to repair was estimated to be $750+ (in addition to the $139.95 diagnostic fee). I figured it might be less money and a better value to purchase a new alarm, and since they had good ratings, I went to CJ Sounds. As it turned out, the previous owner ripped out the alarm before trading-in car and the wires were disconnected. For well under $100, these guys diagnosed and fixed the dome light in the front and identified a broken dome light unit in the back.I didn’t purchase the alarm that day due to time, but I’ll be going back to CJ Sounds for the alarm and a pickup bed cover.

Update12/11/18 - man these guys know their stuff beyond just car audio. Took the wifes truck in for speaker issues. These guys fixed that no problem...then I threw in a wrench and paid a $45 diagnostic fee for a seat not working and a air bag light (all stuff caused by some jerk that cleaned the interior of my wifes truck with a pressure washer). They nailed all the issues, took about 2 hrs. for the whole appt. as a walk in, and now everything is working again. Two mechanics couldnt even figure it out. Thanks again CJ. Im sure Ill be back.These guys know what theyre doing. Ive had several things taken care of affordably and quickly from an alarm issue to amo problem. I highly recommend their work.

Went to the fry rd location as suggested by a friend who recently had tint installed and like the work. When i arrived to drop my car off i was told a different price than what the website states. The website says i can get 5 windows tinted for $100 w a 2year warranty. I also wanted a strip across the front that i was told would be an additional $25. So that should be $125 without tax. The guy tells me its going to be $140 total and i can only assume the $15 was tax and i was fine with that so i left my keys with him. He estimated my time to be 1 1/12 to 2 hrs. It was finished in 1hour 15 mins so i was glad about that. I went to pay and pick up my keys and another gentleman tells me it will be $152.82, i asked why and he said thats with tax so i pulled up the website pricing on my phone and showed him the prices and informed him of the price i was told when i dropped my keys off. He stepped to the back to speak to someone unknown then returned and said ok we can do it for $140 flat. I felt as if i was negotiating on a price that is clearly stated on the website. If the prices had changed or are different online i was never informed. I paid the $140 and left. Although the tint was done nicely there was trash left inside my vehicle and i was never clear on the price. My experience felt shady, with no good customer service. I will not return

LOVED IT 💗💗💗💗💗 Their establishment is clean. The employees are courteous and professional as expected. They talk to you before they install anything so u r aware. They are not pushy salesman at all. I walked in at 10:25 a.m. I was completely done with in 45 minutes. Service is great, work is quality, prices are SUPER REASONABLE which was the most important to me. Israels mother walked in saying Hi son! She smiled and greeted me as well. Felt comfortable. They dont offer beverages or snacks, but thats o.k., I guess. I WILL DEFINETLY bring my truck back to get the rest of the work done. Master Audio has NOTHING when it comes to prices here. Nice to know its a Hispanic owned and ran business.

This place is awesome and the guys are great to work with. I had my sons new car in there to have the sound system done for his 16th birthday. Total Custom job.New Amps, new subs with a custom box, halos, under lighting and alarm system. They listened to my ideas and worked with me to create a true master piece. I went up there everyday to discuss the progress and work I was always welcomed with a smile. I gave them a deadline and they beat it. When I gave my son the car for his birthday he saw what Cj sounds did and how great it turned out he hugged me and almost cried. WORTH EVERY PENNY.The price was 3 thousand less than I was going to spend at another shop. I would trust them with any vehicle I own. Isreal and the guys are true perfectionists.

I have low expectations of car audio installers. In my experience with them none its a rare to find a truly great one, and 9/10 are simply assholes. No exception at CJ Sounds. Had an amplifier installed in my car and when it was finished they were closed. Driving home my blinkers and brake lights did not work. Looked online and figured out they didnt plug the hazard light back in. To be fair after I got my component speakers in I called them and asked for the manager who supposedly was not in. So I explained the situation to the employee saying that I understand mistakes are made and was considering giving them another chance. Asked how much it would be and he said $240. 4 times the amount of 3 other local shops and 2.5 times the cost of Best Buy which is generally the higher than local shops (excluding the likes of Car Toys whose prices are absurd) yet the consistent quality, clean installations Best Buy provides is worth the additional $20-40 if you can afford it. The only con with them is you have to usually wait a few days to get your car in. If spending a little more is in your budget Id recommend Best Buy if you dont want to worry about it being installed incorrectly and having to fix it yourself or going to another shop. Outside of driving by CJ Sounds, I wouldnt get any closer than that.

Very disappointing. Im just an average customer, I dont have a viper or lambo. Unless youre in the 1% I wouldnt recommend this place. They are overpriced and didnt even fix the problem that I paid them to after about 6 hours of waiting. Customer service could use some work as well.

Had my Viper 5706v with a digital tilt sensor installed at Jorges store on Fry. Had my Rockford Fosgate 300watt 10 sub installed at Israels store on 529. These guys freaking rock. Now I am back at Jorges store getting my JL Audio JX 400/4D amp installed which will push my new Fosgate 3-way door speakers (4). About to bring the sound to life in my brand new GMC. There experience, quality, knowledge, customer service cant be beat. Highly recommended.

Went there with my 97 del sol to get a alarm guy assured me everything will be ok and not seen and real professional once there finished guy showed me real quick about the buttons and stuff. First off my sun visor panel didnt have bolts on it and just hanging so i immediately take it back and they fix it so everything was cool i get home and check it all out. First off they drilled close to my cluster to put the alarm light and never asked me where or if i wanted the alarm light or even if it was ok to drill into my panels! Next i notice not all the bolts and screws were in the right place or they were missing completely, call me ocd but i want my car exactly how i brought it that means every bolt and screw accounted for! And some of the plastic caps that cover the screws and bolts were missing! I look under the hood and i could see all the wires! Which make it so easy to silence the alarm and steal my car! On the ouside of my car i see 2 new scratches that they put touch up paint on and bent my license plate which wasnt much of a big deal tho. So im now in the process of redoing it all myself because im scared to take it back and have more missing bolts, screws and damage! I get it that they dont see my car as valuable as i do but i have tons of hours and money tied into it,all i wanted was a professional install and have my car safe from thieves. Luckily i know my car inside and out and can work on it myself (i just didnt feel like doing the alarm). The way they had my alarm wired up someone was surely going to one day take my car and it wouldnt of taken a pro to do it (trust me i know all the ways they steal cars). Yea the prices they give you are pretty good but they need to step their game up! Its ok place if you dont know what to look for

CJ sounds was my 3rd quote for window tint and the staff was really friendly and professional That I decided to get HID lights on my car also! The wait is not bad when you have comfortable seating and magazines and TV. Also learning about the other great products and services CJ Sounds offers really made my wait time fly by quick.
