Despite a temporary quality control issue by the door supplier related to the pandemic, the technicians with Ohana replaced our single layer steel door with a double steel layer insulated door. Installation was excellent! I notice that it keeps my garage noticably warmer in the winter than the single layer door did.

I called Ohana Garage Door Repair of Katy on Thursday afternoon and had an appointment first thing Saturday morning. Kevin Dex Flores was the technician that showed up on time and I got a text before his arrival introducing him to me which was a nice feature. My opener was old and broken and he installed a brand new one. He gave me several options to choose from and the new one I chose is whisper quiet. Kevin was very courteous, professional, friendly, and cleaned up everything and was very patient while we programmed a particular feature on the garage door that took longer than it should have. Very satisfied with Ohana garage door company. Opening the garage door this morning, the door opened part way then dropped immediately. Upon inspection, the cable was snapped. The horror of leaving me without a vehicle for work. Called Ohana for repairs and a cheerful lady immediately put an order in explaining that the repairman will be uniformed, will send a text message prior to heading our way. Several minutes before his scheduled time window, Morty texted his picture and brief description advising he was on his way. Morty pulled up in a clearly marked truck with all the tools, materials needed to handle all types of repair work. He inspected the damages, gave an honest estimate for approval, and started work immediately. After completion he emailed an itemized invoice with the life time warranty on parts and 10 years on labor. I had a concern about the rail to the motor which appeared crooked and he returned in less than 15 minutes to happily inspect it and explain why. I would highly recommend Ohana garage door company to anyone wanting honest, safe, secure, and fairly priced service.

Tech Kevin was a pleasure to deal with. My door opener was no longer communicating with my remote or car. He diagnosed it as an issue with the circuit board in my 24 yr old craftman opener. He offered several model options. I selected one which he had with him. He completed the replacement in a professional manner and explained the system features. Even helped me reprogram both my cars. I would certainly call Ohana and Kevin again when my other opener goes.

My garage door quit working the first thing Tuesday morning. I called Ohana just before 8 AM. By 9:15 Mr. Flores arrived and quickly determined one of the large springs had broken. By noon, the garage door was working. Additionally, Mr. Flores explained the proper maintenance of the garage door to aid in smooth, long service.

I cant recommend Ohana Garage doors enough (formerly Aladdin). They worked with me to find a suitable door as we rebuilt our home following Harvey and got the door installed during construction to protect deliveries. The new door is silent (the dogs dont even hear it!) and we love the windows and insulation that keep the garage cooler and bright.
