Never spending my money here again. Honda of Katy sold me a new CR-V that included lifetime free oil changes. Now the new owners will no longer honor the lifetime free oil change. They said they will offer a discount for the service, but it would still cost +/- $55 for the oil change. Thanks to the previous owners for not giving me a heads up that their lifetime promise was about expire and a big thanks to the new owners for not honoring the commitments made to the customers of the business that you just bought. Again never changing my oil, buying any parts or having any service done here again.
It was friendly and courteous service. The facility was clean. And the vehicle maintenance was very good. Kimberly greeted me at the car upon arrival.
Stopped by because my tire pressure sensor was on. They told me I had a nail in my tire and it would be about 30 minutes. Shanna helped me and I was in and out in 30 minutes like she said. She was very friendly and helpful.
It is true--the lifetime oil change for buying a car at this location is no longer honored. I only found this out after I had already waited over an hour and a half. I understand that business needs sometimes necessitate changes but a little bit of communication (which I verified with them did NOT Halen) could have solved all of my angst. Their Express location is temporarily closed and there is no signage displayed to let folks know this. They are still showing their hours is 7 to 7. I would not have known they were closed if I hadnt called into the Honda operator who directed me to the main service center (where I wasted 1.5 hours until reading reviews here). Apparently, they expect to open within a month or two but since they no longer honor the oil change and never bothered to communicate about it, I wont be back
Free lifetime oil change is no longer honored here. The last three vehicle multipoint inspections have contradicted each other. I was told I had a cracked drive belt about 8-9 months ago, 4 months ago I was told my vehicle was in good condition and nothing needed to be fixed. Today I was once again told I needed to replace my drive belt. Within those 9 months I did not get my belt replaced at all. Still very upset about the free oil changes no longer being honored. I even went through my emails from Honda and I could not find a single email that mentions being bought out or anything to do with the lifetime oil change. I will never come back to this location
Never going here again. I scheduled an appointment on Friday for today at 12pm. I get there and the service desk worker said there was no appointment made but I could sit and wait which I did. I got the basic oil change with the 21 inspection and car wash. My car didn’t get washed and on my inspection on it said everything was perfect but my VSA, power steering and ABS lights are on. I will not return to this location by any means. $80 for false information is wrong.
Honda Cars of Katy have progressively gotten better and better in all aspects of Customer Service. Not only is it a beautiful facility with wonderful complimentary amenities, Mark Nikolaus, the Service Director, has done a wonderful job in displaying the Customer Care Attitude. Thats made a big difference and is still making a difference.
NO MORE FREE OIL CHANGE. 02/24/2021. I just find out that, Honda of Katy have a new owner and if you have the Oil Change For Life! They are not giving more free oil change. Now is like for i dont know how many year and 60,000 mile. And why they not let know to the customer about this, no email no letter. But is funny that the card say that only Expired upon vehicle being sold, trade, transferred, totaled, repossessed. This look like a potential law.........🤷🏻♂️

Service is hit or miss. mostly miss and Im not exaggerating. If you are looking for someone who cares about your investment/asset of a vehicle that you cherish, I strongly advise trying another dealership. you wont regret it. only redeeming factor is if its close however there are multiple Honda dealers around strictly bc of these kind of conditions found here
Im giving a one star because the new owners wont honor my lifetime oil changes I spent over 900 dollars for when I bought my Honda accord. They told my wife that it was because their name had changed. Kimosabe Motors Honda Cars of Katy was what it was called when I bought the car. Now under new ownership and they have changed their name slightly they dont want to honor the lifetime oil changes. It was for the life of the car and I dont think that it is right that they can just do that to people. I probably wont buy another Honda from them or another Honda dealer if this is allowed to happen to their customers who paid good money for their lifetime oil chnages or any other package put together in sale of the vehicle. Buyers beware.

Went against their contract terms.. I was told free oil change for 3 years. Now if the store or dealer they have contract with is no longer in the business, not my look out. They should not charge me for the oil change before end of 3 years contract term
My appointment did not start out great with a long wait time but as soon as it got into the bay it was taken care of really quickly. In about an hour and 20 minutes which is not bad for a Monday morning. Also Isaiah was super helpful and friendly.
Extremely disrespectful mechanics. Over charged parts and labor, they mess with other components to have you bring your vehicle back. Irresponsible and Unprofessional. Beyond Disappointed with this place. Spent $700+ on a 300$ job, waited 5 hours when they told me 1-2 hours wait. Felt discriminated for my age and race. Smh.

Checked there website and it said Express was open until 7pm. Arrived to find Express closed. Went to regular service to find out it has been closed for a month and that regular service does not offer the same services during the same hours. So apparently they either have no ability to update their website or are just misleading people on purpose. So after wasting my time I was unable to get my car serviced. I will however return during their not normal hours to get my car the service it needs but from now on will will rate them as low as possible when they call to ask about the quality of the service. Two can play this game. Not surprised how many one star ratings they have after this incident!
The guys who signed me up told me the wait was about 1 hour and a 1/2.After WAITING OVER 3 HOURS for an oil change the advisor said to go inside and get the report and my keys. He did not discuss the items that need to be taken care of.Customer service does NOT exist.I will not be back.It does not make sense to get a free oil change and wait 3+ hours and have customer service be rude.NEVER AGAIN...
As most know, its difficult finding an auto shop that is thorough and fair. Cody, the manager at Hondas Express Service Center, really listened when I attempted to explain the problems I had been experiencing with my Civic, took my car in, issued me a loaner car, and got to the root of my cars problem--when other places brushed me off in the past. His mechanics were able to fix my cars problem and didnt try to take advantage of me with unnecessary charges. Im grateful for the exceptional service and will continue to be a patron of Honda and this service center.
BEWARE Honda owners! I recently had my free oil change and was informed by another Honda dealer that the oil filter Honda Express used was a generic brand and that it was leaking. Not including the sloppy job they performed (not cleaning oil residue properly) this place is not LEGIT! I will definitely not take my car back and rather pay for a real oil change next time.
Do NOT buy a car from these people. The car they sold me had been in a major accident, and they had done a shoddy repair job. Six years later, they refused to repair a manufacturers defect because the warranty had expired, but of course the problem didnt happen until after the warranty had expired. And the repair would cost $4,700. Then they offered me $2,500 when the car is worth $4,300. I have driven Accords for 26 years and I will NEVER buy one again.
The person who helped with my service order was very nice and helpful and i was out pretty quick. The only bad experience was the car wash, i wasnt told they were only doing the outside and not the inside and i didnt see the guy who brought my car back from the car wash using a car seat cover or sanitizing my car interior, i had to spray my car with sanitizer when i got home myself, arent we supposed to be taking care of each other!
My strut needed replacing & Bryan ordered the parts & stayed communicative throughout the process. Always a pleasure to take my car to get maintenance there.But they no longer offer the complimentary car wash with works done so I hope they bring that back
The guy that greets me every time is ERIC and he is awesome. Goes out of his way to help me, answer all my questions and just flat out nice. I come in about every 10 days for an oil change and he has always greeted me, regardless if he is helping me or not. And not to forget everyone else, they ALL have been nice to me, never had a single issue at this location.
I have a free oil change for life with my cars purchase and every time I get my oil changed, they recommend things which needs to be done. A year ago I had my oil changed, they recommended a timing belt replacement. My car doesnt have a timing belt. It has a timing chain that should last the life of my car. I never went back, I dont trust any business who recommend something my car doesnt need. I recommend finding a garage you trust that is concerned about their customers and their integrity rather than their bottom line.
Mr. Nikolaus was very detail about about what they did in our vehicle. He was very friendly.

They do my HONDA HRV oil change. If you go in the weekend its gonna be a long wait. But they do give you a car wash option free of charge with your oil change. They also have a decent coffee machine with plenty of choices. Last oil change I went they had a remodel going on so I hope its done soon so that we have more sitting space. The customer service is good for the most part.

Horrible service today. After 3 hours my vehicle finally went in for its service. I had to cancel the rotate and balance because I ran out of time. I was told 2 hours when I arrived. Empty bays and people standing around not doing anything other than talking to each other or looking at their phones. The ONLY reason I come is for the free service that was paid for when we purchased our car.
Omg, Eric Figueroa was absolutely incredible. He gave the most outstanding service I have ever received while obtaining an oil change. He went out of his way to make sure I laughed and that I had everything I needed for my vehicle. He is a keeper!!! Thank you so much for the outstanding service Eric!!
The customer service reps are extremely unprofessional and rude, specially Bryan who is extremely rude and does not know the basics of customer service. The dealership staff are polite however the express staff need customer service training or even better to be replaced by more professional staff. Not going back there again.
Dropped our vehicle off at noon, today. We were told that it would be 45 minutes to one hour for an oil change and state inspection. My wife and I went next door for lunch. We got back at 1:15. When asked about our vehicle, they said well, I cant find the paperwork on you car, so I guess its not ready yet. My and I go run an errand. I called at 2:00, to check the status. I was told it was NEXT IN LINE, as in they havent even put their hands on it yet. I requested that they leave my vehicle in the parking lot, I didnt want them servicing my vehicle.If you buy a vehicle from Honda Cars of Katy, dont fall for the free oil changes for life deal, you pay for it, I promise and the service is far from par.
Oil change was super quick (I think I was lucky to arrive when it wasn’t crazy busy). Eric & other employees were friendly. Lady at the counter who served me, although she had an expression that made it appear as though she hates everyone was actually very polite.
Took my Honda Pilot in to get a diagnostics was blown away by the great service I received. Orlando talked me through every step of the way and made sure I understood what they came across. He even stayed late to make sure I received my vehicle, because i needed it next day to take the kiddos to school.
Each time I visit Honda Express Services for check up services, I am always given STAR treatment, personally & professionally. The advice given is easy to understand and gives me peace of mind when on the road.
They changed the oil in two of our Honda cars. I went in the afternoon and it was a pretty long wait. They have a lot of business. Dont buy the air filters or cabin filters from them as you can get them at the auto parts places for much less cost. Check out You Tube if you cant figure out how to replace them yourself.
This place is such a disappointment. I recently went in for a Free oil change and a tire rotation. I was told that this and that needed to be fixed on my car as usual. When I left (5 hours later) I noticed my steering wheel will start shaking when i reach 60 MPH. Also the so called alignment done on my car didnt seem to have been done well. So I took my car to MY mechanic. He checked everything out and said NOTHING needed to be fixed! They also fix the shaking in my steering wheel and alignment all for free! This place is a joke and is ripping people off. I will stick to my mechanic for all my cars service needs. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!
Took the car in for a simple oil change at 8am I been currently waiting almost 3 hours and still nothing has been done to my car very terrible service if they didn’t trick me into buying this oil change for 5 years i would definitely not be here I’ve had nothing but bad experience at this dealer since day one when I bought the car...
Came here for an inspection. I was greeted with a smile by the girl who works here. She signed me right up. Moved my car to the proper line and they got me right in. Very satisfied with service.

We had previously marked our tires after hearing about repair shop scams. After getting a “tire rotation” done, the tires were in the exact same positions. They tried to charge us $200 for doing nothing. We are very disappointed with our service.
The service here is absolutely fantastic. My last visit was expedited by Eric Schneider and true to form it was first class service.

I took my truck to get maintenance today and everything was great as always. The young man who took care of me was courteous and very helpful. as I was about to check out, when I noticed that there was something missing from my bill so I asked the young man who then told the cashier and apologized to both of us. Sadly it did not matter to her because she just made the most god-awful face at him rolled her eyes just so horribly. I stood there waiting and I must say I felt very uncomfortable with the situation. Sadly it has not been the first time that Ive seen this young woman do the same behavior towards other coworkers. In my opinion her behavior today was childish uncalled for and unprofessional. I truly feel sad for the co-workers that have to work with her. Nobody is perfect in life but if her attitude is so negative all the time then maybe she needs to find another job where customers wont have to see and experience how rude and unprofessional she is to others, especially when the other coworkers are courteous to her. I did not catch her name she was not wearing a name tag but the time of my transaction was 10:39 a.m. on October 4th 2018.

The place was ok although it was $100 for my 10 000 mile oil change and checking of everything. The big problem I had is that I waiting OVER 2 hours to have the car washed and i ended up walking out without a car wash since they were SO slow.

Told 45 minutes to an hour for an oil change. After an hour asked them about it and they had no record of my car. The people who accepted my car left their shift without even beginning. 2 hours later I get my car back and they say I need new brakes and break fluid and itll cost $400. Considering that brake pads cost $20-$50, I declined this SCAM! DO NOT go to these people and do not buy a car from Honda with a service plan that includes going to these people. Oh, and last time we were there they stole jewelry and my knife from my wifes car. BEWARE

The oil change is not totally free and you have to wait for 2 to 3 hours.I just had very bad experience with them today. I was there for a tire change and I waited for about 2.5 hours in the service waiting room ... Just at the time I went outside for a moment (maybe 5 minutes), my car service was done so I missed their call. I was back in the room and waited for another 30 minutes. The lady at the front desk (next to the entrance door) did not check on me or call me until I asked her if my car was ready (30 minutes more wasted)... Im not sure the lady taking her job seriously or maybe she just doesnt care... Overall, bad experience with Honda Services. With two more bad experiences with Honda in the past, I would say thats enough... My next car wont be a Honda for sure.

Having arrived at 6:40 am, I wait until they opened at 7:00, only for them to tell me that oil change was in another building (very bad signing).Then, I waited in a long chaotic line, with cars crammed together (very limited space).After being checked in, and, again, having arrived at 7:05 to the express place, they took 3 hours to get my car serviced (again, oil change and tire rotation). In the meantime, I saw workers laughing outside not working on any car for some time.On top of all, little waiting room, and no snacks, and barely any place to seat outside.

The honda battery installed in a vehicle says 100 month warranty and my 2013 Honda Accord is bought from the same dealer - they wouldn’t cover the battery just because I don’t have the receipt. Honda Car, Honda Battery the car is bought from the Honda dealership (Honda Cars of Katy) - they are hiding behind the technical reasons to turn me back - extremely awful service, I wouldn’t recommend the dealer or the service station

This place is always hit-or-miss this time it was a big miss because I got there at 6: 30 waited till they open the doors at 7: 10 then at 7: 45 Denzel tells me that they dont have my filter for my vehicle. Then he tells me itll be here in a minute. So at 8: 30 I ask about my vehicle and they tell me that they cant get ahold of the parts department after he already told me that it would be there in a minute. So I express how upset I was and ask for my vehicle then I left a location and went to Walmart of all places to get my oil changed. So I asked for a phone call from his manager and never received a call from his manager. Im am really contemplating why I ever bought a vehicle from them.
