Its a very nice store. They have almost everything you could want or need. The staff was very helpful and patient with me. They helped me select the right gear and parts that I needed. The wind tunnel they have really help me see how different helmets act in the wind. Great place to get you gear.

Associates were very knowledgeable and patient as they spent extra time with us going through the different helmet options. A large selection of helmets for every budget. Lonnie and Sam were both great in helping us get the right product to meet our needs. Veterans discount was an added bonus.

I visited the new Cycle Gear mega store in Katy and it was an extremely positive experience. Friendly, eager staff always willing to help. The facility is the largest in Houston. I would recommend coming to look around. If you ride, there’s something you would be interested in here. Prices are competitive to online merchants or better. I always try to buy local to support my brick and mortar businesses whenever possible.

We walked into the store and had help right away. The trip was to find my oldest daughter, about to turn 7, a helmet and some gear for when she rides the electric dirt bike she will be getting in less than a month. The staff was very informative and did not try to push more expensive but better suited gear for the application. They took my daughters color preferences and input and they were able to get her the right helmet and gear for her.Definitely will go back in the future, specially since its about 15 minutes from my house

Okay ? You want motorcycle stuff ? Helmet ? Gloves ? Pants ? Anything ? This place is amazing! There is the largest helmet wall I have ever seen and in every kind you could ever want. I literally can walk around in this place for hours and not walk away not buying new gloves. Please visit and understand what I am taking about. Motorcycle parking in plenty in the front, slots to store your helmet at the front while you shop and hang your jacket. Please go... you won’t be sad.

Cycle Gear Webster, Katy, and Greenspoint are amazing. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I know what I need most of the time and they help me locate it. I know they have it in stock because I check online before I go which is very helpful. I wish local motorcycle dealers would do that with parts availability.

I had an issue with Bluetooth helmet and the Manager at Cycle Gear gave me a full refund and hooked me up with helmet and com system with which I am very pleased.

Overall great experience, hopefully more stores end up like this one as far as inventory and design. I’m from Oklahoma City so it was a big change for sure, sales associates are not pushy so it allows for you to find what you want instead of being tossed around! Great experience! I worked with the manager, i forget his name, but the dude knew more about helmets then i think i do about life. VERY knowledgeable about everything in that shop and just plain out knowledgeable about bikes all around. Will definitely be back, all the workers up there seem to be happy to work there and i spoke with a few others when i think i was wearing the dude out with questions and no matter how long i drilled them with my OCD, they always acted professional and had a good answer or offered multiple solutions. Since purchasing my 1st motorcycle in over 40 years I was told to go to Cycle Gear for equipment, best move I made since my bike purchase. The team there is awesome and helped me with a new helmet, communication device, leathers, gloves and now a luggage bag for an upcoming long trip. I will be back for more gear in the future.

I always appreciate a store that has knowledgeable salespeople that are always available but that are about as pushy as a pull-only door! These folks are great! They know their products, can tell you what is the most ventilated, but most protective jacket, but then leave you to try them on for yourself and not feel like youre under surveillance. Their selection cant be beat, prices are very competitive, but their staff makes all the difference! While I will typically buy some things online, Cycle Gears selection and service (plus the ability to try on everything before you buy) is worth any higher price that you might encounter. A+ yall!

Funny story, I bought a helmet and brought it home then I tried to install my Sena and I couldn’t do it so Mitchell said bring it back I’ll do it. 10 mins later I was out of there. Mitchell know he’s stuff and is a great guy.

I have recently done all my shopping at the Katy location. If you want to spend a lot of money they can help with that. If your budget shopping they can help with that as well. They want to help you get the most for the money you want to spend. They will help you just the same either with a large budget or a small budget. Definitely my favorite spot to shop for motorcycle gear.

Katy location is hands down the best all around customer service experience Ive ever had with anything. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, explain everything for you in depth. Im new to the scene and know near to nothing, they Have always been extremely patient with me allowing me to try on things, fitting them just right. I live 20 plus miles away and pass multiple bike shops and wont go to anyone but them.

First visit went okay. Sales personnel were knowledgable and friendly. Prices are on the rich side compared to online sales of similar gear but I would not purchase the products online that my wife and I were shopping for.

My husband and I went in to Cycle Gear to get our helmets and gloves for our first motorcycles. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The store was beautiful and had everything you could dream of. Every area had a friendly specialist who asked if you needed any help but did not push or pressure you. Exchanges and returns are painless. Great selection of riding gear regardless of what type of riding you’re into. My advice would be to come prepared with the knowledge of the products you’re looking to buy. The staff although helpful need to know more about what they’re selling to the customers.Overall the stores I’ve been to I’ve always had no trouble leaving with what I was looking for. Went to cycle gear looking for a helmet and not really knowing much about all the different brands and styles. Talked to Carl who explained the differences and led me to a full face. I really appreciate his expertise and help on fitting and selecting the perfect helmet for me.

Out of 3 visits to the store, I had excellent help on 2 of them. The third trip was 15 minutes before closing time and it got hard to find someone to ask questions. Generally, everyone is very helpful. Pricing was competitive with online retailers. Staff are all motorcyclists, so they have good comments. This is a pretty good sized store.

Can’t go wrong with a place that has a little bit of everything at reasonable prices. They’re not always the cheapest but they darn sure aren’t the most expensive. Need to return something? I went to the cycle gear on Katy to buy gear following the purchase of my first bike. The manager Jon was very helpful with helping me select the right boots for me, then the two gentlemen (Robert and the name of the other man escapes me, but it started with a C!) that helped me select a helmet and jacket/gloves were excellent as well. I appreciated their input and patience with a new rider. I would definitely recommend them, and I plan to return for any equipment that I need in the future!

Great price great service, for new tires.Only they could not work right away because the tire guy had to watch the inventory on the floor until another guy showed up. I was thinking that with like all the other 15 employees in the shop, someone could cover and let him do my tire. With only one guy ahead of me, (who also needed only one tire mount) we waited 3-1/2hrs.I was not upset because he explained before I paid that it was a 24hr guarantee to finish. Since I live 30 min away, I wasn’t leaving then coming back then driving home again. Another 1-1/2 hr. So I decided to wait since there was only 1 guy ahead of me. I think the store may be over staffed and could use better production management to get full use of employees. This may help ease the cost of product and help the store profit from more business.Bottom line. Offer a service? Make it happen quickly. NTB for example. Employees were very polite, and knowledgeable, so I went easy on them. Not their fault the management was needing better structure. Tire mechanics should not have to watch inventory. Only work tires.

Ive never had any problems finding any gear or tools when I go to Cycle Gear. The staff is always super helpful and will answer any questions you may have. If they dont have an item in the store they will check their other stores and if all else fails they can order the item and just have it sent to you, very nice!

Staff is helpful when fitting helmets and its pretty cool they have a wind tunnel to test helmet noise. Since its the large store there is so much more selection than the west road store just a bit more of a drive when coming from Houston.
