Bookstore had a decent collection, not very organized and hard to find what your looking for though. A lot of boxes were lying around for someone to trip over. Be sure not to go in with a school backpack or hell make you take it off and leave it with him. I guess he was a bit suspicious because people my age dont go to bookstores anymore. Wouldve given two stars but the owner was nice after all, but only after talking with him for a bit.

Very nice let us i. really quickly even though they were closed. helped me find so really good books! Some about zombies and serial killers. there is a huge selection of books to pick from so when there open you should go!

The previous owners of this store were so kind and helpful. The new owner is quite rude and doesnt seem to have the time to help customers who are arent placing big orders. Im sad to see a once beloved store lose its personable charm. I will not spend my time or money in Kaysville Bookstore in the future.

Stopped by today to take a look around. Shop was clean, and the owner knew exactly what section to point us in as soon as we walked in. Was able to tell me where additional copies of certain books were if I wanted a different edition, and answered questions I had pertaining to different genres.The owner was very personable and friendly, prices were more than fair, will be coming back again!

It was my first time at this bookstore today. As I walk in and a few other family members the owner rudely says, umm hi. Were actually closed, the door should be locked. Were actually closed because of the governors order and Im only helping my friends that are here. So awkward so we just left and wont be back. At least have the decency to leave a sign on the door that youre closed. Its been a week since the governors mandate, plenty of time to update your hours. Its funny the mandates are to wear a mask and social distance in your business not close your business. But he wasnt wearing a mask nor distancing. Not that I care, this pandemic is pumped up more than what it is. But yeah just bummed I missed out on this book stores glory days.

The bookstore is a bit small and warm. But, Im finding out a lot of used bookstores seem to be that way. Beware the owner will talk your ear off but I find it to be a nice quality. He knows his books thats for sure. I have been to many used bookstores from Ogden to Salt Lake City. And surprisingly this little bookstore had what I was looking for in the way of paperbacks. I wish it was more organized but I have a feeling the owner will led you to the right area if you just ask.

Crazy collection of cool and obscure used and old books. I enjoyed looking around (new books too). The set up of the store itself, I. E. Where the books are and the general floor plan was my only complaint, as the store takes up several rooms of what I think were some old apartments or offices. But the owner was happy to show us around. He let us browse in silence without interruption and then when checking out was more than happy to chat and answer questions; which was a nice change from places that ask you if you need help every five seconds. Well be back.

Helpful and enthusiastic staff. If you are looking for a particular book you can call and ask about availability. I recommend going in and browsing. Good prices, good selection, new and used.

Great little bookstore! Mostly paperbacks and a very small non-fiction section, but I found several books that I hadnt been able to find after months of searching. So yay! The owner was very friendly and helpful. Prices were as expected for used books - very reasonable.

If you do not know what to read talk to Eric. He is helpful and enthusiastic about what he does. He will help you get the most out of your reading experience. He has a wide variety of books and knowledge of Authors and stories. Check it out if you like to read or watch videos or TV.

You could get lost for hours in here. Lots of books and movies. Owner seemed very nice

They have so many awesome books! Most of the prices are awesome. They have a HUGE selection of Sci fi and fantasy. The owner knows his stuff and has lots of good recommendations.

I try really hard to support local business. However, I have called this store twice and been disappointed every time.The first time I called looking for the third book in a series I had been reading. After informing me that they didnt have it he insulted the book saying it was a horribly written series and it wasnt worth reading. Not even realizing I had already read the first two and I was eagerly looking for the third book to enjoy.The second time was today. I called and he asked me to hold on for a moment. I could tell he placed the receiver on the counter because I could then hear his entire conversation with a customer I assume he was helping check out. Then as I heard her leave, he struck up a conversation with someone else in the store about a movie. After waiting 3 minutes I gave up. I wont be giving them a third chance to gain my business.

The owner is clearly a book lover! Sweet little gem tucked away, barely noticeable, yet unforgettable. :)

My new favorite place used and new books has them separated by genre alphabetical by author and if you give me a list hell walk around and find them for you

It was hotter inside than outside on an 80+° day, standing in the semi-crowded by boxes aisle thinking this is a firetrap. The guy working will talk your ear off, barely escaped. They did have a very large selection
