I went here a few weeks ago with a problem with my build. They helped me figure out what was wrong and broke it down for what I needed to do to get it working again. Chad helped me out, he was honest on everything and helped me understand what exactly was wrong, he also didnt push any major decisions on me. The price isnt that bad either, although my cost was very small as I just needed them to identify why my computer was not working. Everyone was nice and understanding and Ill definitely go there for problems in the future. :)

Ive been using Prime Systems for components, monitors, etc for... 20+ years now, give or take, as Ive moved in and out of Utah. Theyve always had great, informed techs who offer excellent service. They are the kind who know exactly the motherboard series, socket, compatible components, and so on, just from a general mention of a series short hand. Ive never had a bad experience with them.Recently, a friend new to system building brought her daughter, who is interested in building her first machine at 8 yrs old. The techs let her see the backroom full of systems they were building, repairing, etc. She loved it! Not many places would readily let you see how the sausage is made, if you will. But they saw her interest and let her see into the Wonderland of computer hardware!Thank you, guys!

My GPU failed at a critical time for my work, and Prime Systems got me back up and running. They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout.They continued to help me troubleshoot well after the sale went through, and I still feel like I can call them up to ask questions. Im an online kind of guy. I like to do my research. When I buy things, I feel like Im getting the best price.I just built a computer, entirely from parts online. But it didnt work. I went to Prime Systems to ask for help. The friendly staff helped me identify the problem, sold me two parts, installed them, gave me helpful advice, and answered all my questions. When I compared the price to what I would have paid online, I spent 4 more dollars at the store than I would have online. This is on a $180 bill. So is it worth it to spend 2% more for service like this? You better believe it. I regret I didnt do my entire build here. My next one will be. Great staff, great selection, great service, and expertise. Highly recommended.

Around the middle of May 2016 my laptop was locking up and I couldnt open any of my files. I called Prime systems and they said bring it in asap. When I took it in they said I have a ransom virus and they would see if they could save any of my files. This is my business computer with all of my files. They said its possible they may be able to save some of my files that this was a very vicious virus. They had it for 6 days kept me informed of progress and recovered all my files. Chad, Joe and Kyle were great and wonderful customer service. Chad actually worked on it and has since done a few more improvements. Thanks so much.

Ill preface this with saying that I used them years ago and they were wonderful. This time has been incredibly frustrating. They failed to return portions of my computer to me, which ended up costing me another week-and-a-half of frustration before I figured out what was wrong. When I called about it, they were incredibly rude. When I realized there was an additional piece that was never returned to me, I chose to just buy it online rather than ever stepping foot in that store again. No apologies, just attitude.Sadly, the piece I purchased online didnt fit. Really, what sort of technician takes pieces off a computer and doesnt put them back? Im shocked and furious by how much time that one stupid decision has cost me. Left me thinking my computer had crashed again initially, and now it just randomly stops because my hard drive keeps popping out of place. So, I unscrew the back, pop it back in, and continue the search to replace a piece that I had when it went into them!! They may as well have just smashed my computer with a hammer. It would have helped just as much and cost me less.
