I have 2 toyotas that use a specific synthetic oil and they always have it here. they always provide great service and you cant beat the price for the oil change. Took my Hybrid Camry to Walmart to have the oil change after they re opened cause of the pandemic, and they didnt have the kind my vehicle needed, had to pay more so they could use the bottles from the store, wont be going there again.

I spoke to Ron to get a service for my car. And basically told me that on Saturdays they’ll try there best to give me the best quality. Didn’t want to understand I couldn’t go in Monday-Friday. Let me understand they weren’t going to do there best on my car because it was going to be a Saturday

I went here since my regular mechanic was booked. My car would lose power and fail randomly while driving and the dash lights would flash on. I’d start the car again and it drove fine. They told me it was a bad mass air flow sensor and it cost a few hundred dollars. I got the car back and it failed again and check engine light after a few miles. Found out the intake was loose and that was the issue. No more check engine light. These guys told me they went off the engine code and threw out a good sensor and charged me for a new one for no reason. Asked my regular mechanic and he said the car shouldn’t drive normal with a bad sensor. It drove normal when I took it in. And the sensor should have been tested. It could’ve even been dirty is all. But they just assumed off the engine code that it was bad. So ya I don’t think these guys really have professional experience, just the basic minimum level of work.

Usually a good place to get a quick and easy oil change, however their worthless mechanics rolled my windows down and slammed the door causing the window to fall off the regulator. No reason to roll down windows for an oil change and then proceeded to laugh when I asked about my window. Pretty shady and unprofessional.

Do not go here... They changed their oil and then pretend to find things wrong with your car that they can fix. I wouldnt be surprised if theyre actually sabotaging peoples cars. They said that I needed some kind of brake fluid but then when they put the rubber guard back on my car it fell off on the freeway and nearly caused me to get in a car accident.

Im not sure if the lower reviews hit on a bad day or if theres more involved but I love coming here. Theyve taken care of my last three oil changes. As with most places, they do offer to change the air filter etc, which you can pass on. The guys are always friendly, and even on a busy day, Ive never waited longer than 25-30 mins. Also, theyre oil changes are now $39.90 anyway, so theres no need to buy a groupon. Highly recommend them!

I went in for an oil change and this place was great. I went in with a groupon and didnt need an appointment the guy who greeted me was very polite and they took my car right back. I was very pleased with the service I received. It was quicker than i thought and they even put my seat back in the position it was which I appreciate, I will continue to use them and I highly recommend them.

They had my car for a month, practically. I spent about 1,200 to fix it, and everything they were trying wasn’t working. I took it to a shop across the street and they found the issue within 3 hours. Do not recommendUpdate: A manager called me and contacted me about the review, and said he’ll talk to his boss about it. In the end I couldn’t get a refund due to their previous company handling their reviews not doing well, so they’re backed up. They said I couldn’t get a refund because it’s been too long even though they took months to get to my review. In the end horrible customer service, mechanics, and time management.

Rude mechanic. There were no obvious signs about where to stop the car. I parked behind the garage and the mechanic practically yelled at me. I took the car down the street somewhere else.

Took my car to get an oil change and tire rotation. I asked about my head light because it was out. They said “No Problem”, just 40 More dollars. When they were done o left. I got home and got out of my car. My head lights stay on till I lock it. Just before I locked it I turned around to and noticed my head light was still out! I went back. The guy was so rude. He said he changed the light. He clearly did not it was the exact same side and it was still out. He said “come back tomorrow and I’ll take care of it”. I said “ok but I’m not paying for it you didn’t change the bulb” he said he did and of course I had to pay for it. I could not believe it! It was right in his face and he was telling me he changed it!!! Customer service has really gone down the drain!!

I always take my card here. They have amazing service and are always in and out. I love that their oil changes are cheaper than other places, and when u get the upgraded one they top off all of your fluids as well. They also had a punch card so after every 4 oil changes u get the fifth for free. This is only when u get the upgraded oil change. All in all great place, great service, and great prices! Definitely recommend this place.🤗🤗

Everybody that works at precision tune in Kearns, Utah has always been very polite, imformative with anything they are doing to my vehicle or that needs to be done to my vehicle, The shop is always clean, great location and they always have fun shows on in the waiting room if you want to watch. The prices are awesome and they always do a really good job with not only changing my oil but fixing thing like head/break lights, making sure all my fluids are good and the engine is good. I have been going to this location for more than 15 yrs and they never dissapoint.

Ive been getting oil changes for a while here and even though i always end up payng a bit more than advertised i havent had a reason to post a bad review but i saw online that they have a cupon for free brake inspection and one for an oil change for 15.90 so i went in asked if they were busy he said no then i showed him the cupon for the oil change he said it had expired it had not the exp. Date is Feb 28 2019 today is Jan 29, 2019 so after I had to clear that up he said it would be around $18 and some change which is fine because the cupon says taxes and disposal fees may apply I asked if they would then inspect my vehicle and he said thats not included, again the cupon says multi-point vehicle maintnance inspection. I then asked about the free brake inspection and he said what is wrong with the vehicle i said well nothing i know of thats why you will be inspecting, I mean thats the whole point of an inspection preventing what will happen if not inspected or so i thought so he said we are actually pretty busy but you can come back in one hour hmmm ive never had a problem but then again ive never used their cupons why give cupons if you wont let me use them? By the way i was willing to pay for the oil change and my breaks need inspecting but i wanted them to assure me if i go in there telling you i heard a noise from the tires when i break it will be a sure way to charge me for brakes thanks precision tune auto care for your great service.

They seemed to do a good job on the oil change but seemed annoyed that I came in at all. One guy said, please dont tell me you have a groupon when I approached the counter. He also casually swore which I personally didnt like. Nothing short of an amazing deal would bring me back. Id go to a different location. The people at the Kearns location seemed much nicer when I talked to them on the phone.

They close at 6, and I was denied an oil change at 5:20 because theyre done for the night. Trash customer service. I drove clear out here specifically for them, so Im pretty angry.

I loved this place! All the people I dealt here with were super helpful and explained things well enough that I knew where my money (and time) was going. They also took care of something that needed a little additional evaluation but didn’t charge me a penny to get it right. Loved this place. Definitely going back if/when needed.

I went in for an oil change. It took less then 30 mins and all the employees were super kind and not pushy at all. They did tell me their recommendations but werent like their competitors who try to push you into doing a bunch of work you couldnt afford to do. It was affordable and Ill definitely go back for additional work :)

I had a great experience here. The employees seemed pretty honest and they were able to get my oil changed fairly quickly. Their prices are very very reasonable compared to other places like Jiffy Lube. There are a few fast food places around if you want to get something to eat really quickly while having your car worked on. I’m definitely coming here again the next time I need something worked on my car.

With the “new management” somehow I am now paying more? Every time I’ve gone in (for 6 years now) I’ve paid the same price for all my cars. Full synthetic has always been $74 (after taxes) but all of a sudden with new management this guy charged me extra for each bottle. There was never anything wrong with the old management, I’d prefer them back actually. I totally understand that they trick customers to pay more but to LOYAL customers that continuously come back? Yeah, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Ive been there twice now for service when I didnt have the time or skills to make the repair. These guys are really good at identifying the actual problem and getting it fixed. They are very up front and honest about the issues and do great work. Ive had other mechanics try to rip my wife and me off before. Precision has demonstrated their trustworthiness to me and my dad who referred me.

I have use precision tune in the past. Never had gone to this location before. Who took my wifes car to get the oil changed. Wasnt quite sure of their procedure so just pulled up to the garage door like you would a jiffy lube. it was clearly understaffed with and nobody working on any vehicles. Finallyput somebody in your approach the car give me a dirty look and told me I was in the wrong place and Ill have to go inside. With that low level of customer service I decided to take my wifes car somewhere else. They lost me with the attitude.

I️ have come here enough for my oil change that I️ was finally rewarded with my free oil change. Since my other oil changes were synthetic I️ got a free synthetic oil change!! Awesome savings!!! I️ Love that this location is close to the library so we dropped off the car and they called me when it was done. We continued playing at the library then came to get the car when we were ready. I️ would Give 5 stars if they would also do light vacuuming to the interior to finish off the feeling that your cars care is complete. Thanks for the service!

Awesome shop. I’m not completely sure if management changes frequently or not but I’ve never been unsatisfied. I never feel pressured to add services when going in for a simple oil change. They have also worked on various other projects for me. Serpentine belts, ac recharges. In all I’m a very satisfied customer!

They were great to quickly diagnose our problem and get it fixed before the end of the day, even though we didnt get it in until the afternoon. They were very trustworthy and knowledgeable. I started coming here because of a bad experience at jiffy lube about a year and a half ago. The guys now at precision tune service all three of my cars because I wont let anyone else touch them. They do all of my oil changes and all repairs, tune ups etc. That I need. They know what they are doing and are the most honest technicians that I have ever worked with. They always find time to make me happy and get my cars back on the road, even in the tightest of schedules. And I dont know how but any part that you may need, they can get it and have it installed faster than anyone else can. Also, unlike other mechanics, they dont over charge for services. They would rather make you a regular customer than make a quick extra couple of bucks off of you. This is a fantastic place to take your car whether you have something simple like an oil change or have a huge problem (like a hole in your gas tank -.-). They are sure to take care of you. Nothing but good to say about precision tune in Kearns. 5 stars all the way.

Personnel has changed again waited 2 hours for my oil change but wasnt aware it be that long of a wait until I had to ask after waiting an hour and handing over my keys. It should be info given before you wait for an hour. Also I paid for the supreme service and asked for my brakes to be checked they didnt even bother to do brake check.

I just bearly pick up a 2002 s10 pick up that has sat for over 10 years I bought my own oil and filter for it keep in mind now this truck has less than 100,000 miles on it i brought it in to see if they would change the oil for me I was expecting to pay for the shop rate of a value oil change but was told that it would cost like a premium plus oil change this is not cool so it brought my truck back home with out any service I plan on never returning to this shop ever again and I will letmy friends and family know to steer clear of this shop

The flushs they do for you vehicle do nothing other than replace the fluid in the reservoirs for 60$. If Rod the manager feels like its too big of a hassle they will not do the work but still charge you for it!!

I love these guys. Super kind. They dont feel like greasy weasels, (though they get quite greasy, and thats good.) Theyve answered my questions. Dont seem rushed. The WiFi is great. I just feel great about their honesty and service. Not super salesy. Ive taken my car there twice and am headed over tomorrow to take my other car. Im making this place part of the services that I will continue to go to for auto maintaining. I highly recommend. Plus, they are a local business and not a franchise.

RUN FAST AND RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! My daughter took her car here and they totally took advantage of her!! Told her her water pump needed replacing. $500 later she got stranded on the way home, from picking her car up from them, because it was overheating!! These guys have no clue what theyre doing!! After some, well call it coaxing from my husband, they replaced her thermostat (which was the problem all along but instead fixing the cheaper part first, they go for the most expensive). STAY AWAY!

Have been taking my vehicles there for many years. Never once did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. Just this evening I was changing out my headlight bulbs on my Chevy Colorado. Very difficult to get them out. So I called up Shane at Precision Tune and he told me to bring it in. Not only did they replace the old bulbs with my new ones they didnt even charge me for there time. They also took great care of my daughters car and didnt over charge her for the services. I would highly recommend this shop to my friends and family.

I never saw it myself as I trusted what he was telling me but after reading other reviews I think I may have been taken advantage of. At another location they also did not put my oil cap back and I had to pony up for a new cap. I think I will avoid this company in the future..

Plain and simple this location sets up your car for failure.i went in for an oil change because the sign said twenty dollars. i walked into a burst cigarette smoke. and noticed there was a 3 dollar extra charge i decided to go for six extra dollarsas i left i smelt a funny smell, i put up my hood too look. spilled lots of oil on my manifold, i mean lots. my oil dip stick was now missing allowing the chance of oil to spill all over my engine. and make my engine fail. plus non of my fluid were filled that i paid for.i went back to tell the attendant. he denied removing oil dip stick. and said let me put your car back up on the ramps. i was now appalled and said your not touching my car

Its terrible. Every little thing is charged. Employees are not there to assist with question. They charge.

My fiance and I have spent well over $5,000 at this repair shop. We have been very loyal and our most recent trip was over $1,000. During the time there our gas guage flipped to the other side. All they would tell us was that it was not their fault. They decided to take a look at it and came back telling us that it would be one of 2 things; both fixes that equaled hundreds of dollars and that if we wanted to know for sure, we would need to pay for a diagnostic. Needless to say, we refused. My fiance found online that the issue can be caused by a relatively high powered magnet being placed on the dash above the steering wheel and using a magnet to move the guage would also fix the issue. We fixed the issue for free ourselves and will never return. We only work with businesses that are willing to take responsibility for their work. In the past, I have also paid them for repairs that did not fix the issue. They were nice to me, so I let it go...Now I wonder if they did it on purpose, knowing they could swindle me. I will go to Master Muffler next time.

These guys are great. Quick recharge of 2 cars, and they helped me out by pulling some rusted bolts I havent been able to get off. They just got a customer for life by spending an extra 2 seconds.

Update: I recieved a call back the next day to discuss the issue and went over the misunderstanding. Tim apologized for the incident and offered solutions to make this right with us. I appreciate the reach out and solutions offered and we will return. Its always been a quick location to get in and it of and close to home. In the past they have always been good at going over any issues so Im glad we were able to resolve this situation.Was planning on coming here to write a good review after seeing all the negative ones because we had always had great service. Until today when we were told we needed a $16 fluid flush and was then charged $60 in the end saying thats the total for labor, well we werent prepared to pay that right now and should have been told the real total from the beginning. Hope the $60 was worth a customer because we wont be back.

They diagnosed my car with all kinds of issues and when I took it to a few other shops they told me my car had none of those problems. They also way over charged me. Ive gone in to have an oil change later to leave and have almost no oil in my car. This place is full of nothing but con artist. I will never go to this location ever again.

We are so pleased with the customer service at the Kearns location of Precision Tune Auto Care. We had a few mishaps where our tire somehow was flat after arriving as well as a hood release that broke. We didn’t know the cause or even where these things occurred, but Rod and his guys did everything they could to make the situation right. They showed us that they really cared about our business. We will be customers for life.

TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Took my car in for an oil change. They come and ask me how long my breaks have been that way. weird because when I stopped in they were just fine. They proceed to tell me I have to replace all 4 break lines, and ya cant change just 1. Checked where I have been parking my car no fluid leaks to be seen. No fluid leaks where I parked my car at their shop yet suddenly I have a leaking break line. Would not recommend taking your car there. Crooked employees. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!

I called to get a quote and once I started asking questions on how they would fix it, the guy I was talking to became a complete ass. I was trying to understand how to fix my car not question him on his skills. Defiantly will not be going there.

I honestly refuse to go to anyone else for my car services. They go above and beyond every time. I use to go to jiffy lube until they ruined my last car and claimed it wasn’t them and they refused it I do anything about it. At Percision they’ve taken me out to look at my car and showed me details of what I should get fixed and why. They care about you and your vehicle. I’ve mostly delt with a guy named Rod and he is amazing I would rate em 10/10 if I could

I had great service when i went in to get a check engine light looked at. He told me what the code was, then asked me what year my car was. given that it is fairly new, he looked up and found out that there was a part recall by GM, he printed out the info for me and sent me to a dealership, where i got repairs for free as per the recall. I am glad that they looked out for me, when they could have done the repair, charged me, and i would have never known about the recall. or they could have done the repair and i would have had to haggle with GM about reimbursement. as for other repairs Ive done with them in the past, as of yet Ive had no other problems.

Worst customer service

These guys are f***ing morons. Of the two times Ive been there. A customer always comes in about something they didnt do right. As for me, my first visit they said I needed to replace my wheel hubs. But I told them I replaced those brand new myself. After that. They had no clue as to what the problem was. The second time I came in for a brake adjustment not only did the idiot not tighten my lug nuts well. Found out when I got home. But he didnt set my drum pads right as to one was out scraping against my drum. Check your work dont just assume its fixed!

Mechanic tried to sell me services for problems I had. I drove right to my mechanic cousin from here and NONE of those 4 problems were actually issues. This is the first time I came here and I will never come back again. If I had the option of negative stars then I would have used them in my review.

Worst service I’ve ever had. They tried saying I need extra things replaced that I really didn’t need. They broke the plastic scrap plate under the car and didn’t put it back together probably. When I went back in, they said it was already broke and got an attitude with me. It wasn’t my fault they put it on wrong and it broke. What a joke. Worst service ever. Stay away. Worst than jifffy lube.

These guys took in my car that I had towed in after the water pump failed and tore my timing belt in half. They were the only place open in the area on a Saturday. Not only did they find time to check my car, they promised to have it done that day since I was from out of town, and in order to do that, the manager stayed until 11pm working on it (they close at 5pm). The car works great.

The first time I took my car to Precision they helped me right away. They brought me into the shop and showed me what was wrong. I had been to a few other auto shops before them and they just treated me like I was stupid. I bring all my cars to Precision Tune from now on.
