I come here often, service is good. However store is always doing random changes with hours and sometimes does not accept credit cards so my drive here becomes a waste! Could improve on communication.
Great service! Very busy. I recommend walking in over drove thru, but will always visit when possible.
I literally need to report this incident, but am not a person to run and report things. But here it is. Evening shift. I ordered 1 hot coffee and 1 iced coffee. Employee so nice at speaker. get to window. Hands me 2 iced coffees and proceeds to go back and forth that I ordered 2 iced coffees. I accepted the iced coffee just to shut down the back and forth. ...welp, no napkins, no cup tray, nada, just handed me the coffee and closed the window. I beeped for napkins. Multiple employees peered at me like it was a zoo because I had to beep multiple times for attention. After several times beeping and being peered at and whispered about, my granddaughter (little girl) got scared and started crying. I leaned on my horn at that point getting annoyed. Finally a young man who didnt know what was going on came and opened the window. I asked him what in the world was wrong with the people. He said that a few days ago a female customer was waiting outside to beat the employees up and they had to call the police. So because I beeped for napkins they were afraid to open the window. (I am 64 btw) I wish I could put emojis on this review because that was one in the top 10 craziest customer service experiences I have encountered.
Do you have the time ? Like all of the time in the world?? If you do, great ! The 1 hour wait for a coffee is really not that worth it. At first when it opened, I thought it was just them getting on their feet ... but 45 minutes for a drive thru ?!?!?! This is ridiculous.Please hire more staff ! You are over working the little that you already have.
The baristas are very nice at this location. They made my latte wrong once, and remade it very quickly and was so apologetic. The drive-thru can be crazy sometimes, but in-store usually goes pretty quickly.
I love coming here to get out the house and get some work done, they’re usually busy but they’re customer service is great!
If I could give this place -10 stars I would. So unprofessional. It’s like the people there don’t want to work there. Every time I come, they’re closed. For what reasons? I don’t know… I always tell my boyfriend I don’t want to go to this location and it’s like god saves me from having to waste my money here. Since it’s ALWAYS closed.
Waited 40 mins for 2 drinks very long line, only 5 workers when there is a line of about 15 people, unacceptable, do not recommend this location. Very upset with the service.
Love this place.. too bad its the only one in Kearny.. they shut down in store and mobile orders like 10 times a day! But I aint mad because the staff work really really hard.Solution: we need another store in the area! (Dont say the ones in Newark cuz no one wanna drive around for 15 mns for a parking)

WORST STARBUCKS EVER!Every time there is something:-Either no shot in cappuccino (only milk)-Always milk is boiling hot (taste is bad and it is insanely hot)-Very long wait time-When you order some food they always mix everything up.-It is always DIRTY at this location.
This location is awesome. The store is clean, the staff is really nice, and the managers even have their business cards by the napkins so if you have a problem you can contact them. Theres also a sign on the door inviting you to join them for a bingo game on zoom to support a charity.
If you are looking to wait 25 mins for ONE coffee this is your place. Put your feet up on the furniture and enjoy the wait.

Probably the worst Starbucks ever. Randomly closed on random times and days. Always out of stock of ingredients needed for drinks (just basic drinks like refreshers). Order ahead is down more than 50% of the time. Why is this location even open?

Every time I come here theres a long wait they take your order you have to wait till you get to the window for them to tell you that they no longer have it available what you wanted to order. Its ridiculous if they dont have something they should let you know once you request it and not make you wait to get to the window 20 -30 minute wait to tell you they dont have it I wouldnt have waited that long if they didnt have the item I wanted! This Starbucks sucks its EVERYTIME I come here SMH!

Slow slow slow slow. Food was ok. Didnt have drink. Didnt use bathroom. At least its clean & the decor is nice. It shouldnt take 5 minutes to heat up food.
Come here once in awhile but after last night, I was just super annoyed. I’ll be honest it is my fault, I didn’t know they close at 9 because I am used to the one in Rutherford who closes at 11. There’s a line and I’m waiting for 15 minutes and there is about 7 cars behind me, I get to the speaker finally and the girl apologized saying they had closed. Look, I work in fast food I get it, when we close, we close, but at my job, when we have a line when we close whoever is in line at the time we close gets served and we put cones blocking the drive thru behind the last car and we keep someone out there telling people we are closed. I suggest doing this instead of letting people waste their time.
Been coming to Kearny since I married my wife. Had to wait 20 years for starbucks to break through the dunkin coffee enterprise to bring good coffee to NJ. Omg thank you starbucks.

It used to be really good but lately the coffee tastes like water. the chai tea latte i always get barely had any flavor and i would be better off drinking water.
IT CLOSES 9PM NOT 8:45. Mobile order doesn’t go through. Nobody pick up the phone. VERY INCONVENIENT.

Entered the store, normal like any other Starbucks. But when I went up to the cashier they were friendly and understood my order. I handed the money and waited no more then 10 minutes for my two white hot chocolates. When I was handed the hot chocolates they made a normal one by accident which was fine because I love both hot chocolates! But the kicker was I was only charged for the two I ordered, and not the one accidentally made! I felt so welcomed and I now have a extra hot coco to enjoy! Would definitely order from here again! 10 Mama Mias to 10 Waaaaahhh Luigi!

Came here today and it was a MAD house in here. I waited at the register for 10 min, before someone actually took my order then waited 45 min for our Mango dragon refresher. They are so disorganized, they were doing drive thru first and confused the orders with the ones in the cafe. Very disappointed. Do not recomend to go there on Sundays. This was our first and last time.

Great place and nice staff. Especially Mikey, who has great customer service skill and made my drink come out really good! He’s suggested a drink to me which is now my go to. Ignore the reviews about taking too long, it’s a Starbucks with long lines what else do you expect?

This is one of the worst starbucks I have been to. They are constantly out of specific drinks and specific flavorings, and the line is always extremely long. It would be easier and cheaper to just find a dunkin’ donuts duplicate.

Not happy with this location. Google had said 5:30am opening for the last 10 months and they do not open until after 8am.This whole town wakes up at 6am.... This place is useless. Not family or teacher friendly.

This location needs corporate review. The drinks are constantly made incorrectly. Every Starbucks Ive ever been to can be counted on for consistency, except this location. If I wanted mediocre coffee I would go to Dunkin and save a lot of money. I ordered 4 coffees over the past 2 days, spent almost $20 and all 4 drinks were made wrong. Unacceptable.
I always come here every friday to order stuff for my work place, today they gave me a rude attitude because of the amount of items that I have, if they dont want to work they should stay home, not coming back.

Quite frankly the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. I was super excited when this location opened as it is super close to my home but that came with a cost, and that was quality. Numerous chances have been given since they opened to find their groove or to simply figure out how to follow an order. That being said they blatantly DO NOT follow your order at all, even when you pay extra for additions to your drink theres a 90% its not happening. Customer service is mediocre at its very best and thats rare, but the rate of botched orders is pretty much the priority issue here. I even tried taking a break from this store for a few months several times but always came back to the same nonsense. I will happily drive double the distance to another location just to avoid this one, such wasted potential it really is a shame.

Everyone knows Starbucks. It is very pricey we all know that. But whatever Ive ever gotten there is very tasty. There is always a wait. And for a place that has like a good number of people working behind the counter it always just seems to go so slowly.
Horrible place, I ordered through the app a Matcha green tea Frappuccino with no whip, no syrup with soy milk. However they didnt care or they don’t know to read whatever the case is they put whip regular milk, and the drink was way too sweet. I told them, that’s not what I ordered. They just simply didn’t care...
I have been to this location multiple times since opening. For the first few weeks they only had limited items off the menu. Each time I visit, it is no shorter than 20 minutes even if I only order a coffee. The service is extremely slow. There is an abundance of employees working and there seems to have been little to no training. I ordered egg bites today, 3 orders. I placed my order on Starbucks app, all the egg bites were sold out except the bacon ones. Great, I ordered those. After waiting 10 minutes I walk over to the store. I then sit there for another 25 minutes. I finally had to ask where my order was and then I was told we don’t have any egg bites. I love Starbucks but this location does not even come close to meeting your company standards. I guess I’ll have to stick to the wake up wraps at Dunkin
Terrible customer service. I’m a loyal customer to this starbucks I come every single day to get me and my husbands coffee. The mobile order app doesn’t have the vanilla sweet cream option so I normally always go through drive through, well today I went through the drive through and of course the line is outrageous which is fine I normally wait the hour it takes to make my order but today I didn’t have the time the wait as we were running late for an appointment so I made a mobile order & asked if they can add extra vanilla sweet cream since the app doesn’t have the option & they were extremely inconsiderate and told me there was no way at all unless I waited over an hour in the drive through so they could charge me. Keep in mind I come every single day and spend my money at this place. They for sure lost a loyal customer. I will continue going to the Hoboken location from now on ✌🏼

I would just like to say that I have worked in customer service and I know how to treat customers properly but also how to treat the workers that are helping me as the consumer but I just have to say that this was the worst experience I’ve ever had in all my years of going to Starbucks. I waited in line patiently I was very pleasant and as I was greeting her hello through the drive-through microphone she was talking to another coworker not even paying attention to me and had me wait five minutes for her to finish her conversation and then as I finally got to order I had a rather larger order than usual and she just kept on pushing me to be done with my order as I was ordering the items, making me forget an item I wanted to get but I’ll take the blame for that part, so as I finally finished which I could tell she wanted me to be I pulled up to the window and she gave me half of my order and then said have a great day and kept on rushing me and walked away from me completely so I thought OK whatever and I started driving home it’s not until I got home that I realized I only did get half of the order but I saw out of the 10 items I ordered I only got five i’m a busy mom and I didn’t expect my order to be wrong and because it was I called to see if my items were still there this is when the person on the phone told me that I was completely wrong and that I should’ve told the girl to come back when I I noticed but i trusted her to get the order done properly and how am I to even do that if I can’t go inside and I can’t see where she went am I going to go back through the end of the drive-thru line and wait 20 to 30 minutes to just get A bad attitude and some water down coffee and cold bakery items? It’s money wasted but I’m saving myself the frustration. I feel this is a complete disconnect between the consumer/customer and the brand that Starbucks tries to represent as happy welcoming and always there for you which I feel this worker was not and maybe she needs some more training on how to properly deal with customers.

Please for the love of god make your order through the app way before going into the store. I waited 25 minutes for a double shot over ice. I understand places being busy, but this location was not that busy at this time. I’m sure their drinks are great. But sometimes not worth the time to wait.
