A good ol truck stop. Very busy.

Friendly environment and need and a LOT of coworkers eat there three times a week even busy my order always on time and staff very deserving of tips eating there tommorw shrimp omelet and cheese steak

Its often hard to find good food while OTR and every time I come here I leave full and with leftovers. Fantastic food and friendly servers. Best liver and onions ever. Makes that stuff sold by a truck stop chain look even sadder than it is. Stop here you wont be disappointed.

Don’t waist your time coming to this truck stop, there’s only about 20 truck parking spots, and when you call ahead to ask if there are available spots they lie told me yes, and when I came there about an hour later at 3:30pm, there weren’t any spots and we talked to a truck driver that told us he was waiting for 2hrs for someone to drive away so he can park. Looking at the paid stickers the trucks parked there were paid up for multiple days. It would be nice and productive and cost effective if they count how many spots they have and how many they sold and for how long they payed till and when calling ahead they approx can say when spots should open. with our ELD’s and New York traffic and $$ toll bridges $$ this truck stop becomes a waist of precious time where you can plan to park and sleep at some other service plaza like Vince Lombardi before that too gets taken up. This New Jersey truck stop is the closest to “Journal square transportation station”. Vince Lombardi is closest to Hoboken transportation station.

I think that is a good place to stop and eat something also you can re-fuel go to the bathroom. There are like 5 tesla charger so if you need it you stop in there. Finally there are 2 machines were you can spend some money trayin to get a beats or a pair of sneakers and other things. Was a good experience.

If there is room here its a great place to stop 12.50 for 12 hours. Great view of NYC too if you park in the right spot.

Its a JERSEY THING, you wouldnt understand.... Good fuel, reasonable prices, nice little secret hole for truckers with good security, adequate parking for about 60-70 rigs and clean showers with a decent little storeand a full-service Greek-ownedEatery right next to the truck stop. Do give this place a look truckers, it works!👍👀

Nice an easy place in an out but good food

First time Ive been here, its pay to park but 24 dollars for 24 hrs is not bad at all. First 2 hrs is free, 12 bucks for 12 hrs.The staff were very friendly, the prices in the store were very reasonable not over priced parking lot is clean no trash littered. Fuel price is excellent. Very neat and clean inside. I recommend if youre in the area And need a place to go this is it, they have showers, laundry, repair services, c-store, and a diner that separate. I recommended it to my trucking friends and will be back when Im in the area 👍

Five stars for the diner. Food was great, service was great, nice old fashioned dinner from 1947. Nice change from the regular truck stop food. Large portions, fresh veggies and desserts made from scratch. This was the silver lining to our horrible day in horrid traffic and nasty rain. It definitely made our day. Shout out to our lovely waitress Melissa, to Mike, and our fantastic cook. It was all great. Thanks

Great place. First time in Jersey. Parking is not free but reasonable. Showers are not free but we did get a free copilot shower. Security all night, very friendly guy. Very friendly clerks. The diner was just awesome! Great food and amazing service!

Warning you have to pay for parking. Besides that I went to the little food store here and it was closed for two Hours because of changing shift. Prosthetic the cost for Parking is every 12 hrs the fee is 12 dollars. 24 hrs, 24 dollars and so no. Good Luck.

Beautiful Old Style place, decent fuel prices, has : showers, laundry machines, with Good Mechanic shop next door. Great people who work there too. Great place. Need more pumps, tho.

Its like an oasis in terms of parking in the area for truckers. They have showers, Transflo service, fuel, and a diner that serves great food. The staff is friendly and professional. I look forward to coming here whenever I have a load picking up and or delivering in this area.

So its a good spot for a somewhat quick bite to eat. I went with my boyfriend and sat down and nobody came to our table to even greet us for about 10 minutes. The place wasnt too busy but it seemed that the people sitting at the counter were first priority.Once we did order, the food came out fast and tasted really good. I did want a refill on my coffee but we couldnt get the servers attention until we were done with our food. Also it was freezing inside and we both had to keep our coats on. Overall food was good but if I did come back I would sit at the counter.

For being a small Diner in an industrial section of Jersey City New Jersey, I was quite impressed. Prices are reasonable, food portions are excellent and the staff or extra courteous. I sat down in front of the grill and it wasnt even the waitress that took my order it was the chef. While hes back there slicing and dicing frying eggs you look back over shoulder said what can I get you? I told him I order and in less than 5 minutes it was being flung out in front of me. Kudos guys good job! Will definitely be stopping in there every chance I get.

It’s 2nd time for me here. It is a small place, but the food is fresh, homemade style, very tasty, large portions, very nice people and friendly.I gladly recommend this place.

Always liked coming here. The girls inside are so sweet and friendly. The restrooms and showers are always clean as well as the inside of the store. They offer pizza and hotdogs among thousands of other items. They have every type of coffee you can imagine.

Really was a dump. Ownership recently partnered with Mobil and they are in the process of renovation. The coffees not bad, but no driver lounge. Diner next door does have some good groceries and fair prices. The shop on the property, has different ownership, but the guys know their stuff and not expensive. I had an inside tire repaired for less than $30 and its still rolling. You get a view of Freedom Tower, without the congested traffic. Only one place in North Jersey with free parking, and they only have like 10 spots. For the money, this aint too bad. Havent tried the shower yet. Just getting up the nerve to take a dump here.

Wonderful staff. A members only facility but during my travels my son had to use the bathroom and could not wait. The lady buzzed is in a courtesy. He barely made it. Still good people out there.

The Truck Stop Diner is amazing!!! Delicious food, more than a fair share helpings, nice Ole Diner atmosphere. Service was outstanding too, didnt get the young guys name, but he was very polite, friendly, and more than willing to help out. First time here, and will definitely come back again when in the area.

Very difficult to get into the restaurant if you are elderly or disabled. Food was good. Service was questionable. We had to keep asking for things, and our breakfasts (3 of us) didnt all come out at the same time, even though we all got omlettes. Id return because its convenient, priced well, has an extensive menu, and the food was good.

Dont let this small place fool you. Great food excellent staff and decent prices. A must visit if your in the area.

What a dump, all the positive comments have to be from staff and owners. If you want to buy a shower, they won’t let you buy one. You have to buy fuel. Go to the pilot, it’s only 1 1/2 down the road

Not sure if they are racist but I placed a order over the phone and went in to pick it up. The waitress was friendly and helpful. I asked for some ice in my jug and she said sure no problem she took my jug and proceeded to go get it then the lady at the register called her back and said something in there language then she handed me my jug and said the ice machine is broken. Really now ! I assessed the diner and seen everyone else had ice in there cups. The waitress knows whats going on in the kitchen miss cashier who I think is the problem. Canceled my order the older gentlemen asked why and I told him as I was leaving. Lady with the glasses on register curved my entire appetite. Have a good day.

Easy truck parking, had to pay. Showers are clean and water pressure is strong. Food is amazing at the diner. Places, parking lot and fuel island is spotless. Do not pass this truck stop up if your in the tri-state area. It is worth the trip

Hey needs work, but looks like they working on it . services was great . The two ladys are great and young one is single and gorgeous with beautiful smile. Theirs this young guy too and he is awesome and knows his customer service and treat people right. if your not getting the service is probably because you a rude indivisible and you get what you put out. I like it that I pay for parking because keeps them dirty cheap trucker that dont know how to keep it clean and less break in so it worth paying . and there always parking unlike them free ones . I like the location too and I can go to new York for 3 or 8 hrs to get a break from trucking all week

The staff at this place are rude, pushy, and not helpful at all.......especially the security that takes his job to a level that could be considered borderline abusive with no understanding of trucks capabilities....... 5 stars to the Mechanic shop theyre awesome

Went to utilize the showers there and the place was not clean at all. Would never go back there. And to top it all off they charged $22 for the shower.Will never use again

Dirt truck parking lot. Reasonable parking fees $12/12hr.Ive never stayed here since the renovation inside but I hear its great.The Truck Stop Diner is the best food around and the main reason that I stop here at all.

A good place to park when you running out of time good food and security

Great truck stop to park your rig, nap, stretch legs and get some great food to get yourself ready for a long drive. Just what I needed to get back on the road and ready for another 20 hours driving cross country. I will be back when I am in the area again.

This place has really turned around since the new owners took over. Clean and bright. Friendliest people working. Parking lot clean and regulated so you wont get stuck behind other guys just making a spot.

Nice and clean store and bathrooms. You have to be buzzed into the bathroom so no worries about bums or druggies. Parking is 12 bucks for 12 hours. Dirt lot. Parking lot is lit and well patrolled by security, plus you have the best view of the big apple. They do have a scale and a shop here too. Plenty of parking as of 1500 local.

Not a whole lot for selection, but its the closest you can get to Jersey city for truckstops. They have laundry, showers, subway and a Spanish restaurant. Decent trucker supplies, gadgets, just not a while lot for drinks.

I am there between 1am-3am so it is kind of slow. Service is good between the gas cashier and the accessories cashier. Bathrooms are clean, and washer and dryers are clean too

A gem in the middle of a desert as far as truck stops go. We will definitely keep this in mind when in Joisey! The diner next door is a bonus and has good food. Handy location too though a bit tricky to get past the lights. Only other places seem to be service plazas on the tool roads so youll pay one way or another...

Paid to park $24 for 24 hours are $12 for 12 hours. They do protroll the parking. Two young girls behind fuel desk very very very rude. Even if you are polite. I guess thats New Jersey for you. I would only stay here if you really need to stop.

Truck stop means truck stop. Not great highway access. Definitely not your Iowa rt 80 truck stop.
