Perfect Pawns in Kearny, NJ is a GREAT place to pawn your valuables at a Great price!! I had a bad experience with another pawn shop in the area whose name I wont mention. But every since I came to Perfect Pawns I get excellent customer service!! The guys are friendly!! And they truly value their customers!! I would definitely recommend to family and friends👍👍👍

Very unprofessional. There is this African American guy that works there is trying to get females to come after 5pm (after business hours) to make extra money as well flirting with women in front of other customers. This is a very unprofessional business and something needs to be done about this employee. I’ve also been trying to reach out to a manager or owner and can never speak to them. Will never go here again.

Whomever is giving these people 5 stars must be friends or family. Poor customer service. I called in advance because I was coming from a distance to see if they would take my items. I told him specifically what they were, and he told me to come by. I did, after examining my things and taking them out of the boxes and wrapping, he comes back to tell me he doesnt want those particular figurines. Well then why did you tell me on the phone youd take those particular figurines? When I acquired why he made me come all out of my way, hes just scoffed at me. I will be telling everyone I know not come to this place of business, Amongst writing as many poor reviews i can. You should treat your customers with dignity and respect and not waste their time.Reply to owner: understandable, but then that should have been explained before having someone drive a distance to your place of business. I was told on the phone to come by and that you would take my items, if you would have explained it like you just did above, then I would have went elsewhere.

First time in a Pawn Store :) It was just like the shows. I lost my watch, and I was looking for a new one. The gents made it really easy and fun. I was able to pick up a nice watch to rock. I will definitely come back to try selling, or for some of the electronics I came across. Ask for Geoff, hes hilarious! Perfect Pawn was Perfect.

This place is terrible ...do not ever go here. I agreed with the guy on a price. I go back the next day and he said we can’t not take it...once you have a deal you stick to it people. Probly the best Pawn Franchise youll find in NJ. They give you top dollar on most products. Some people dont understand how pawn shops work. They not going to give you retail or street value for your items. Because they have to make a profit off it if you dont pick it up. Other than that theyre good guys

Perfect Pawn was just PERFECT. Quick and friendly service. I was very impressed by their extensive knowledge. I brought in a coin collection that I wanted to sell and although I was expecting a low ball price on my coins - I came away with just the opposite - Shekels aplenty (coin joke)! Went to sell some stuff. We agreed on a price and he ended up giving me less than the offer. Its partially on me for not counting but come on man, you seemed nice enough not to rip me off.

I recently went to Perfect Pawn to sell about 10 signed hockey jersey. I found the staff to be extremely knowledgeable about the items and their value in the current market for sports memorabilia. We agreed on what I felt was a reasonable and fair price for the items and within minutes I was paid and on my way. This was a very smooth transaction and I would recommend Perfect Pawn to anyone in need of their services.

I googled and read reviews and I wasnt impressed with what I was reading however my boyfriend lives in the area and this Pawn shop was the closest so we decided to stop in. I was very impressed especially after what I was reading. Great customer service. My advice is to go in and experience it yourself rather than go based off what others are saying. worse case you dont like it...my case it went very well and I was pleased. :)

Great place, i pawned my old cell phone and had got a better deal than Gamestop, best buy, and even T-Mobile themselves. they conducted business in a friendly manner and i never felt bullied or pressured to give up my merchandise. I think they will definitely make a splash in the pawn world and its cool to know they have a place watching out for the little guy.

When I first walked into the shop I was greeted with smiles and hellos. I came into pawn my watch and some jewelry; I worked with a professional who knew exactly what he was talking about, and he gave me the best price possible. Going into the store I had no expectations, but I came out ecstatic and could have not been more pleased to work with such an excellent and professional staff. I will definitely pay them another visit!

The short guy with glasses at Kearny location is nothing short of a crook took bicycle in there I bought from perfect pawn in Newark less than 30 days ago with receipt I paid 350.00 for.and asked for 100.00 30 day loan. Said hed give me 50.00. I should of read the paperwork. But didnt till I got home. Something about buyback at stores discretion when I called said he explained all that he didnt explain anything at all about it. I just passed a gold chain for 100.00 30 days cost me 108.00 to get back. Cost me 85.00 for 1 day loan . Buy back never heard o f I t went there to pawn . Criminal Im not doing anything I can.to have this place investigated

These people are scammers. They try to pull up the lowest selling price on EBAY. Then tell you to be more realistic. Awful experiences do not come in here.

IF YOU USE THIS PLACE HAVE THEM DOCUMENT THE CONDITION OF EVERYTHING! THEY LEFT VALUABLE ELECTRONICS ON THE FLOOR AND THEY GOT STEPPED ON! NO COMPENSATION.If I could have put 0 stars I would have. When I returned to get my guitar and Microphones out of pawn. I was met with a 20 minute wait (not a line they were actively searching for my guitar). When they finally found my guitar the other equipment I left with them was not with it(another ten minute search). This time he returned saying sorry it fell of the case. Upon inspection one of my Mics($370 retail) had been irreparably damaged. After a long and unfruitful conversation this negative review is my only recourse I am left with a $370 piece of trash.

If I could put no stars I would I walked in to sell some watches (movado dkny ect.) as well as two pandora charms the guys at the counter barely glanced at my stuff and declared them all fake Ive purchased the pandora charms myself from Jared and the pandora store so impossible as far as the watches they were gifts from friends and family so maybe who knows but they proceeded to angrily tell me to take my garbage elsewhere mind you I was not arguing with them just simply stated that I knew for a fact the charms were real because of where they were purchased from. The other guy behind the counter proceed to break the face off of one of my watches to prove it was fake Im sorry you take a sharp object to the face of any watch Im sure you could pop it off but there was no reason to do so to my stuff because I literally was not arguing. I would recommend to anyone to avoid this place
