I was looking for somewhere to eat lunch and that offered vegan options and found this spot. I havent had pizza in a long time since I dont do cheese so was looking forward to trying. I ordered my food online and ordered the vegan wicked voodoo pasta and vegan cheesy bread. The total came to a little over $13. When I arrived the lady asked if I was picking up and I said yes. She took my name and grabbed my food. They also honored my free drink at check-in so I got a strawberry lemonade. When I got home I dug in. When I ate the pasta boy was it hot. I didnt expect it to be so spicy but it wasnt bad. I really liked the vegan cheesy bread and it tasted like the real thing. All in all I had a good experience. I want to try the vegan pizza next so I will be back.

I have used Uber eats a billion times to order pizza from here. It always comes as I’ve instructed..this day, I was out and about so I dropped in to get a pizza. I knew what I wanted and asked for pesto as my base instead of tomato sauce. The employee told me that they don’t put pesto as a base only as a topping?Funny, cause when I order off the website, I always get it that way.So he decided to give me a garlic onion base and proceeded with the rest of my toppings. When my pizza was done, I asked if I could put crushed peppers on it and he obliged. I then asked if he could put pesto on top of the pizza and he said” it’s already on there” I said well” I would like a sprinkle on top” he said, well, “ I can’t read minds and you have to tell me what you want”.I’m perplexed…did I not tell him what I wanted? And why the attitude? There was absolutely NOBODY in the restaurant!! No line, just me… the attitude was unjustified and on top of that, it’s a make your own pizza! If that’s the way I want it, make it that way!!

This place is amazing, its so good especially i recommend the Three Little Pigs, the service is immaculate and quick. Isaiah is one of the best employees there, always cleaning and working hard. This place is amazing everyone make sure to try

So what I can say but its delicious for new jersey pizza. I got exactly what I wanted for a great price for a small pie with 6 slices. It was great. And the first time i ate in. It was wonderful eating the fresh pizza out the oven. Uber eats delivers to my town from their place. But everything was well made and tasty. Unlimited toppings!

Nice people but he had his kids running around while he was preparing my food and no hair net. The food is bad, he burnt everything but i was told this is how its made. 27 dollars for this and 6 burnt wings. Sorry I wont be coming back.

The manager wasn’t wearing a mask or gloves while handling people’s food. When i ask him to put a mask on, he told me it’s none of my business and it’s his choice. I will never go back here

Urban Bricks is a fantastic location. The decor is bright and flourishing. Employees serve with a smile. Theyll do their best to cater to your order - I just got BBQ sauce on my pizza. Alcohol is served here in beer and wine forms. There are dessert options.If You want your pie to go, make sure to mention it. Highly recommend you visit!!

Listen, my wife and I are OBSESSED! The pizza is on point and the dessert! Super underrated!

So, we usually check reviews before ordering from a new place. The owners responses have been AMAZING to good and bad reviews. But especially the bad reviews. And just off of this, I was gonna give at least three stars regardless of how the food was. We ordered through door dash, and once the order was placed, I realized I forgot to add ‘special instructions’ so I called the store. The young lady who answered was friendly and attentive to my mistake and assured she’d make sure it would get fixed. She did! The food got here surprisingly quick, and the dasher was great. Finally we opened our food up, being that the box and bowl were both taped shut. The smell of the pizza and pasta combined were close to godliness. And the taste was even better. Hands down, our new favorite spot. I can’t wait for y’all to open up once all these sanctions get lifted. 10/10.

Ok I was supposed to take a before and after picture. I went shopping and did not eat before leaving out. I believe I made it to 2 stores before feeling like I was going to faint. I went to Google to search for a quick bite to eat and found I was literally right next to Urban Bricks Pizza. I enjoyed the pizza and the staff. It smelled so good I ate that in my car. If you ever had MOD Pizza in PA it is similar to having that.

The place isn’t anything special. I got a pie with spicy red sauce, mozzarella cheese, and basil. My pie wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. The cheese seems to be of a cheaper quality and the sauce was very bland, not spicy at all. I probably won’t be returning

I had high expectations as there is not too many places around here except Blaze that do vegan cheese but the pizza arrived undercooked, not cold but undercooked. Had to pop in the oven to finish cooking it. As far as flavor goes its pretty bland and unimposing. The cinnamon pie was ok but I was expecting something more substantial than paper thin cinna dough.

First off, the food itself is of good quality, in my opinion. More specifically, the pizza. The pasta was just okay. Not great, but not bad. Even with building my own pasta, it was still kind of bland and dry for me. Im the type to prefer very saucy pastas, bordering on soup or stew. For both pizza and pasta, I had built my own. Yes, your can build your own pizza with whatever toppings you want via a Subway-esque toppings bar. The selection is above average with multiple different crusts, sauces, cheeses, meats, veggies to choose from. All is well.That is, until we get to the customer service part of this review. 50% of the time, youre greeted with semi-cheery teenaged girls who will smile and will politely wish you a good day upon you having finished paying and receiving your food. The rest of the time, youll get males who are in their teens to early 20s who do not make eye contact when interacting with you (to build your own pizza etc.), do not talk to you, do not smile, and just appear to be plain old miserable or as if youre bothering them by just being there and ordering food. It almost makes you feel uncomfortable or at the very least, disrespected.The last time I went there, which was yesterday, May 24th, 2019, I had this type of interaction with two different guys. One had built my pizza for me (he had a nose ring), the other finished the transaction and added the final touch (taking my money, boxing the pizza, and adding drizzles). He had this look of extreme disinterest, he barely spoke to me, was not going to ask if I wanted any of the drizzle on my pizza until I told him I wanted some.Finally, when handing me my boxed pizza over the counter, he made no eye contact, and had already turned to walk away before I even grabbed it from his hand. On top of that, I politely said, thank you, have a nice day, which was met with absolutely zero words in return and me watching him just walk away. As if hed finally been rid of some annoyance.A couple of other times, upon walking in, youll be left waiting for a couple minutes before the employees start taking your order. And thats with NO OTHER CUSTOMERS there. It would just be two employees and me, the lone customer. A couple of those times that they had me waiting, the employees werent busy working at all but were chatting and playing around, literally in front of me, from across the counter. They obviously could see that a customer was waiting but the manager, who was much farther away, had to bring it to their attention.All in all, its a gamble which type of service youll get, but at this point, Ive gotten more negative experiences than positive. The only reason I keep visiting is because its fairly cheap, somewhat tasty, and very close to where I work and just walk across the lot after work to pick something up on the way home. If it werent for those, it would not be a place Id visit often, if at all.Urban Bricks management: if youre reading this, please train your employees in customer service.EDIT: Heres my receipt, so maybe you can see the time I visited and see who worked that day, on that shift. I really wish for the customer service to improve so I can comfortably visit, because I do get a hankering for the pizza occasionally but resist going because of how Im treated. Im not normally one to complain or even leave reviews, so thats saying something.Update: Thank you for the update. Apologies for missing the plaza discount on the receipt. I do know for sure that Ive missed out on it in the past though. And thank you for addressing the issue. Will return soon and hope that the service will be better.

My pizza was delicious & saucy, just the way I like it. My kids got their free half cheese pizza when it used to be a free whole cheese pizza... But still they had fun...Their prices on the drinks is high for a small cup; Ill bring my own drink next time

Good food, messed up order. My wife ordered a pasta bowl named something big daddy lol. Its supposed to come with just white sauce but instead the server added red and white sauce together and we realized it when it was too late. However, my wife said that the bowl was still good. We plan on coming back.

They keep raising their prices and the employees there are ghetto and rude. Wouldn’t let me substitute the cheese for another topping and gave me a bad attitude. Stay away from this place.

What a disappointment today. Twice I have been to this establishment before and everything was great. Friday night, and the service was lousy. Barely any customers (for a Friday night) and I was standing waiting for someone to take my order for several minutes. Then finally, I guess the manager Chris came over nonchalantly (dont worry, I can wait, Chris) and took my order. Then I go over to order a beer and they are out of one of the brands. The guy who is pouring the beer looks at Chris and says Hey, we are out of this. Chris walks over like Miss Wiggins from the Carol Burnett show and says, sorry, you gotta order a different beer. This is a Friday night and you havent stocked the beer? What is that?I canceled my order and left. I go next door to the Asian restaurant and it is night and day. Busy with customers and attentive staff. Go figure.Whoever own Urban Bricks needs to get a handle on your manager. You have a very delicious product but not something where I am going to have to wait around for your manager to pay attention.

This is an actual disgrace to pizza everywhere. I got a margarita foundation pizza and not only was it practically cold but it was also tasteless. The mozzarella wasn’t even melted and it actually slid off my pizza when I picked up a slice it was so undercooked. There were random chunks of garlic everywhere on my pizza that weren’t spread out evenly at all and it was probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had. If you want a stomach ache and an instant feeling of disappointment this is the place for you.

I thought these were only in Texas, glad to see one in NJ. The people were nice and the service was fast. Their pizzas are great, though I just build my own and get it extra crispy. They serve beer btw which is a plus for those that like it!

I get that COVID is serious but how do you offer food and outside seating but PAYING customers cant use the bathroom?🤬😡Plus they missed ingredients for my build your own order and my food was cold

Pizza taste like frozen pizza from supermarket and pasta is absolutely terrible definitely won’t be returning. On top of terrible food it took one employee 30 minutes to struggle and make my food as the other 5 of them watched him. Absolutely terrible

Disappointed. I didnt have pizza for about 8 months and I decided to get a quick bite, not impressed with the flavor. Just got the basic pizza with pepperoni. Had a taste of oil from cooking. A bit soggy. I think they try to up charge by saying the more you put on the pizza, the crisper, not sure how that works but...... will be going elsewhere for better pizza. Our one and only time there.

Really quick service

They are very similar to blaze pizza, same deal. There food is delicious taste fresh . The other thing is that they offer beer here. You can sit down have a good meal and enjoy a refreshing beer . What I do have to say about the staff is half are very nice and the other half are very rude. They just give you this certain look like I really dont care made me and other guest feel like we were bothering them. Food is good staff needs improvement.

Very rude employees and the costumers are even worst. the guy working there brought us napkins and told us “here’s some napkins to clean up your mess...” before we even ate. he was giving us dirty looks through the glass and made us feel very uncomfortable. the pizza came out disgusting and not edible. we threw it away because we did not want to ask for another pizza because the employee was so rude and odd. we were eating outside and it was windy. a napkin flew away from the table and the man at the next table started to yell and telling us to keep clean because he wants respect for the earth. i understand that but we do not control the weather... so i will not be coming back here, i guess covid really got to everyone 🤮

Take Home Order - Food was mediocre at best. Definitely not a great presentation. The dough towards the ends were still chewy. The staff was not friendly what so ever. They were too busy chattering among themselves and I was THE ONLY person there. The only reason the place got 3 stars is because the facility itself is actually nice and they can hire other people to make the food.

Best Pizza and Wings I have had in a long time! Great service and amazing quality! I came in this Sunday the 14th around 3 & one of the girls with glasses was so kind and sweet helped me make my OWN pizza and rang me up and was asking about my day. Came in after chipotle ran out of steak, and although there was no pizza ready and i was already upset, the manager asked me to wait a few minutes and he got pizzas out fresh for us. It was closing time so I appreciate it after a day of working out. Good job the pizza is tremendously amazing !!

The guy who made my pizza was very nice and helpful. The food is delicious. The girl with the red hair was very confused and does not really know what shes doing back there. She needs more training back there. I told her my order and then charged me for my order. While i was eating, she screamed over to me that I didnt pay for the wings which I believe is very unprofessional and rude. She is the one who made the mistake and did not charge me for the wings. Please give this girl more training back there.

I’m explaining to the young lady how I want my “build your own” pizza and she’s looking at me as if I had 2 heads.. gone are the days when businesses hire people based on smarts and not looks. I came, I ate, I left ... with a smile of course ! This jewel of a pizza place was on the outskirts of Newark and Route 21 and I think to myself why I was not here earlier. The pizzas are the highlight of the place because of many varieties like Margarita, and Buffalo Pizzas which were my absolute fav. My wife, brother in law, uncle, aunt, and grandpa loved it. Best part was the beer ! I went straight for the Modelo (twice). The ambience was nice and cozy as well. As a suggestion, you can open us a wine tap, it might help improve your bottom line and your customers will love it. Keep up the good work !

Delicious pizza

Went there few times. The food on the menu tastes good. Food prep done in a hygienic way. The kids who work there though need some additional training on servicing their customers better; there seems to be a lack of attention given to customers. e.g when you order a salad, they dont ask if you need an add-ons and pass it right over to the counter for payment. Same goes for when your pizza or wrap is ready; they dont always ask if youd like additional sauce or utensils.

The food is amazing and the place is very clean and attractive. However, the staff is very unorganized and there are some that are not friendly to customers.

Too slow and the order process needs better direction

This is my second time coming here. My friend and I both got the same salad both times and all four salads were different sizes. They have salads in this troth and they use tongs to scoop it out. Its a tedious process because the tongs dont allow you to pick up the berries and seeds that are an important part of the salad. Also, the troth only holds enough for one salad. It should only be used for display purposes because you get more salad if you make it up yourself. Also, the cashier was responsible for the dressings and sauces for the salads and pizza as well as the register which made for a long wait. The food is tasty but the delivery needs work.

The wings were abnormally big and not very tasty and the pizza was so drenched in sauce. I ordered parmesan garlic sauce and it tasted like a vinaigrette tangy and all.. yuck!!... the pasta was ok. Money lost

Poorly trained unprofessional staff! Mediocre pizza at best! Blaze is 100 times better!! I went when they first opened and they got some things wrong with my order I tried to write it off as them being new and learning, I went back to give them another try but they sucked again! I’m done! 👎🏾👎🏾

Pizza was made on the spot, ans I grabbed 2 drizzles (a) parmesan garlic & (b) sweet chili.. both great! Love the self hand washing device & self serve fountain drinks... the interior is a bit cafeteria ish but the food is awesome. Ive been a fan
