Holly at Keene Medical was absolutely awesome. Her knowledge of the products was amazing and her ability to work with Hospital to ensure the proper product was ordered was much appreciated. The product came in quickly and I was notified with every step of the process. Thanks Keene Medical Products
I have been using Keene Medical Products for over 10 years. I have always found the staff knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. My recent visit was yesterday and both Steve and Holly were very helpful in assisting me to understand CPAP fittings/options and insurance/billing (they also do a yeomans job in navigating a very cumbersome insurance system). I feel fortunate to have this facility nearby. Thanks again for your assistance and thanks for your service to our community.
My son has been receiving CPAP machine supplies for over a year now from Keene medical and I purchased a great wheelchair from them today. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly.
Recent encounter with Keene Medical Products was awesome! Staff was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Have been a client of the company for over 25 years and have never given a thought of changing.
The best service I have ever had with any medical supply company. Holly Brown, was extremely helpful, Friendly and showed great compassion towards me as I was trying to get the best supplies for my mother. As a business owner with employees, I feel that its important to recognize a great employee! So please give her the recognition she deserves!. Sincerely, Martin
I usually dont read reviews of companies that I believe can help me. In this case, Keene Medical came through for me as they analyzed what was wrong with a 15 year old recliner that I had come to love. The analysis was right on and they didnt charge me one penny for their time since parts for the recliner were no longer available. I said a sad goodbye to my beloved recliner but I will certainly reach out again to Keene Medical the next time I think they can be of service to me.
These folks become a member of your family. The service is excellent and the products are lifesaving.
Super frustrating since they have a replenish dept!! Try as I may I can not get products on time and there are usually items I don’t want or missing others! You are the only game in town so can’t even choose another!
Becky Patrick did an excellent job setting up and training us in te use of thecough asssist machine. Dawn was very helpful on the phone dealing with our insurance company. Thanks
Terrible service. Office has no empathy for people in desperate need of O2!
To sum it up: horrible customer service and difficult company policies. Ive had the misfortune of dealing with Keene Medical Products off and on for about 18 years. Every, and I mean EVERY time it has been a bad and difficult experience. The customer service is not only slow but their agents have horrible interpersonal skills when talking with customers. To make matters worse, company policies hinder placing orders in a timely manner. I have since found another supplier who had my order delivered the very next day. Keene Medical couldnt get it done in over 3 weeks and after multiple phone calls from me AND my doctors office! Dont waste your time, money or energy.
I’ve had nothing but good experiences with every interaction here over several years. Thank you for making complicated things easier.
Excellent service always Holly Brown!
This company is so irresponsible in dealing with their customers. Their bottom line is not about the clients but the almighty dollar! They demonstrate incompetence in the highest form. NOTHING is for the aid and assistance of the consumer. I am a fighter and eventually I get what I need. I can only imagine what scams they pull on those who are more trusting.
The automated ordering system is a huge fail in my book. I now just place my orders by phone and hope they arrive in time which instead of the 7-10 days that they say your order will arrive, I usually get them in 2-3 weeks. The customer service is really great which is why I stay.
Years ago I came in for a hinged knee brace. I was helped quickly and got 2 make sure product fit. It was a pleasant experience but in the next few days Ill be coming in for medical equipment and Im sure Ill be treated well like I was last time.
I contacted Keene Medical Products in order to replace my CPAP mask and hose. I do not fault the employees that work there. They are just following company rules. But they couldnt have been less empathetic. Im from out of town and I was really in a bind. They told me that there were a myriad of reasons why they couldnt help me unless i paid $67 for the hose and $295 for the mask. Despite assurances from my insurance company Blue Cross/Blue Shield that they would cover me, KMP employees referred my matter to their corporate office and said that the issue could take days. And if I tried to contact anyone to expedite the issue, it would only slow the process down. Finally, since they showed no sense of urgency to help me or even feigning concern for my well being, I asked if there were any other CPAP parts suppliers nearby. The woman attending to me mentioned Apria. So I called Apria at 4:25. Mind you. I had been haggling with KMP for 6 hours now. Apria was actually already closed but a friendly guy answered the phone and told me to head on over. 6 minutes later I walked in and a jovial bearded fellow walked out of the office, shook my hand and gifted me a free CPAP tube. I offered to pay but he refused, saying it was an extra. Talk about night and day. The tone of a business, good or bad, is set at the top. I get that. How does KMP stay in business? Check out Apria Healthcare at 815 Court Street. They just do the right thing
My disdain for this company has been in place for years, They NEVER get it right. Last CPAP machine required two appointments with them each requiring me to take a half day off of from a job with no leave time, so, it was a $300.00 loss just to go there. The lady was nice enough, if very unconcerned. This last thing is the final straw. I went there today, because my CPAP mask had a tear. I was told that I couldnt buy one OTC because. like drugs, they are regulated. Its a piece of plastic! Then I was told because my prescription was over a year old they couldnt help me! Prescription? its for a 2 yoa CPAP Machine that gets replaced every 6-8 years! So I got my Doc to send over the script. THEN I was told my mask was no longer made, and that I needed to be refit and BTW because I had not been evaluated by my provider, it would not be covered by insurance, and that I would have to pay $290.00 out of pocket, AND the appointment would have to next week. I have drastic breathing issues and a heart problem, so I fixed the mask with some duct tape and hope it will hold. Oh and I found the mask for the machine on line for $36.00.... Very nasty taste in my mouth from these folks. Cant wait to get the boiler plate they send all unhappy customers
I came in on April 24th for compression stockings with all my paperwork from my doctor and i could not get that day i had to give them my phone number for them to call me its been a week and still have not heard from them ....hello this was so i didnt end up with a blood clot ....this is truly sad
Terrible customer service. I will never recommend this place.
I have never been to a business that cares less for their customers. It was like I was annoying them by being there, waiting forever to be serviced. By necesity I was there for the third time yesteday. Sure wish there was an alternative in my area. They do not deserve to be in business.
DO NOT buy any products from this company. They overcharge and do not communicate at all.**Edit 1 year later** Keene Medical, your response A FULL YEAR LATER seems more than a little insincere. I no longer need your assistance since we found a more reputable company to do business with.
The staff are helpful but the parking is a bit of a pain. They helped me when I needed a breast pump to go back to work.
Keene medical is a joke, my wife on cpap mechine with oxygen . The mechine hasnt been serves for over two yrs change insurance provider so keene medical wont fix mechine without paying $75 a hour out of pocket but still billing for the mechine .you suck
If you are able to speak with a live person at Keene Medical Products, they usually try to help you but there is definitely something wrong with this Company. When I was first in need of a CPAP, the script was issued in November and sent to Keene Medical. By mid December, I still had not been contacted. I called them to initiate and finally got things moving. However, their continued delays had them trying to schedule me for my consultation in early January. I have a high deductible insurance plan and it was going to cost me over $800 out of pocket simply because of their processing delays. I demanded that they get me in and I finally saw someone on December 31st. All this should have been an indication. Recently I received a robo-call to order supplies for my CPAP. I confirmed the order and waited. I had another identical robo-call last night. Being concerned that my refill orders would be duplicated, I called their Keene Office. Turns out that the position of the person who processes these robo-call orders has been vacant for a few months and my prior order was never processed?!?!? Why not shut off the robo-calls if you dont have anyone to process the orders? Again, the staff is nice enough if youre able to actually speak with them but its clear this company is mismanaged and understaffed. Sadly, this may just be a reflection of our healthcare system overall.
I initially had issues with this business sending me incorrect CPAP supplies, which frustrated me to no end. For the last year or so, they have been getting my orders correct, so I have deleted my previous review and increased my rating of this business.
I would not recommend you go here. After I get my replacement mask today, I am going to look into changing providers. What a pain. A week and a half ago, my dr sent an RX to change my CPAP mask because my current mask is cause sores in my nose. He also sent an RX for a chin strap. I have this office 4 days to call me. Nothing. So I called them and they werent even aware my dr sent the RX and thus clearly, had no plans to render my problem. At my drs office, I met with his respiratory therapist and tried on about 8 different masks until we found one and fit me for it. All I need to do is pick up my new mask. Nope. Not with Keene Medical! I had to wait a WEEK to meet with THEIR respiratory therapist, WHY?! Theres no need for this. A waste of my time. Then the day before my long awaited appointment, I get cancelled on because something more important came up. Seriously?! It took everything I had not to lose my temper over the phone when I had to reschedule my appointment for another day and rearranged 3 days worth of plans to accommodate this appointment because Im desperate to get my new mask so I can freaking breathe and sleep. Enough, Keene Medical. Your service is less than stellar. I tried my damndest to give you the benefit of the doubt given all these bad reviews. Im heading over to Apria. ✌🏼
The personnel were great. I had a problem with a CPAP mask, after three weeks of severe headaches I contacted the Keene office and they replaced the defective mask with one that works. Unfortunately, my insurance has a minimum usage requirement and the inability to use the defective mask blew my numbers so the insurance wont cover the CPAP. The CPAP works, Im not falling asleep, Im alert, Im even losing weight without an increase in exercise or a change in eating. Keene had mentioned my metabolism would pick up over time. Now I have to find another way, but the Keene office are not at fault. My insurance needed three months of good numbers and I didnt make it.Thank you Keene Medical Products in Keene, NH. You did your best.
I called KMP today to switch my service from a competitor. I explained I wanted to switch service from my current provider under my insurance policy. Without knowing my name, info, insurance, anything, she ASSumed I would not be covered and tried to end the conversation. Regardless of insurance, I need lifesaving equipment to survive. I asked what people do without insurance, she said they would have to purchase outright. I tried to express my needs patiently through her clear rejection. She didnt want to hear it, nor care what I had to say, was beyond rude in manner. Turns out, I am indeed covered for my current equipment, and more. I called LINCARE, and had a lovely talk with Athena who discovered in 3 questions I was eligible for equipment, AND medication needs also! LINCARE is able to go above in delivery, equipment, and care. I will recommend against Keene Medical. I am thoroughly disgusted with this companys incapacity to serve our Countys needs.
Not good, called and left message regarding a change in cpap mask, explaining that I have a progressive disease that affects my mouth closing. (myasthenia gravis)No one called me back. When I called back i was haugghtily told that I needed an rx, and was not given the keene medicsl supply fax number to give to my pp, I had to call again to get it. I did not realize I need a rx ...sure could have used this info 24 hours ago. If I had the energy I would change companies. On my list to do when I go into remission.
Great People!
I had two horrible experiences with this company and I recommend to friends to find help elsewhere.
Evening coverage aweful O2 concentrator not working but told to wait until 11 next day and my husband too nice to say no. Unbelievable!
NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!! This company takes advantage of the elderly and sick and over or double charges for equipment. Very poorly run company with disrespectful employees.
Very indifferent to your needs.Could care less if you need something.CUSTOMER is always WRONG
Not a good experience !!
From their inability to reliably answer phones during business hours to their rude and incompetent staff id say this is one of the worst businesses around.
Horrible horrible horrible
