Everyone on the West Coast knows that In N Out is the best quick service place period! This location is no different! Brand new location with great quick service. It certainly is one of the busier locations Ive been too, however that just shows how high the standard is at this location is. They have a really great outdoor covered seating area that also gets good sunlight in the afternoon. Ive been a few different times now and all the employees were well versed in the secret menu which isnt always the case. Im very much looking forward to going again, and I recommend you plan a stop on the new future!
Was good. Came early in morning was 3rd in line food was so fresh 5 stars. (Updates of 08/13/21: came around 10:30 they were already opened. Never thought that in few weeks will be here again. Food was good. Got 2 meals #1. Asked for some stickers and a head for my little girl. Food was good as always stuff were friendly. )
Consistency is key! Here’s the thing about In n Out, they aren’t the best burger joint in the world. I mean shoot does such a place even exist??? But the reality is that they are consistent! I’ve had it in 3 different states and it always tastes the same. And I mean how can you beat a full combo for under $8!?!?!?! This is why In n Out always gets my vote! For those complaining about the long wait:You gotta realize that there is only one near the Portland metro area. But what I’ve realized is that if you walk in to the restaurant the wait is only about 30mins.For those complaining about the fries:Ask for them well done, game changer for sure!
Too bad its so slow but thats because the lines are forever. The burger was good. The fries... Not so good. They were soft and bland, almost as if they were heated in a microwave. The color was great but really a mushy fry. The people who work there are great and people seem to love it. The price is right and the whole cult thing is awesome. I want a t-shirt despite the review.
Everyone should go to In-N-Out at least once. To me, their burgers are fresh, perfect ratio of meat, cheese, and other toppings. Fries are great when made into animal style. As for this location specifically, yeah it gets busy. But make a trip out of it! Enjoy the car time with family or friends and then enjoy a great meal afterwards! Drive thru line can be long at times, but the place is called “In-N-Out”. They want you to go through the line quickly, and that’s exactly what happens.Awesome food, great staff, and a wonderful experience.
Arrived at 11:04 am on a Sunday. Had our burgers by 11:54. Id call that a win. Their burgers are fantastically fresh!! Fries cooked to order. Great smiling staff. They have traffic control on point. We arrived from the north back street to be able to get straight in line. The 2 lines at the driveway is worked back and forth. They keep track of the cars so your place in line is kept track. In other words, you will be helped in the order you arrived. We easily were among 100 cars there for lunch. We went to a nearby parking lot to enjoy our meal as the immediate lot was full, some folks even brought camp chair to tailgate with their burgers. We drove in from Vancouver WA. For those who dont know the secret menu, definitely google In n Out burger secret menu. You cant go wrong with a double double animal style, animal style fries, or a Neapolitan milk shake. They can also serve up a root beer float. Fresh fresh fresh!!
Wait was long in drive through.. Kid at first window where you pay tonight was thoughtful gave our son a hat and little coloring thing. Husband liked the food. And we got a free hot coco for our son! Would recommend.
The burgers were good. Fine. Nothing out of this world but good. Patties are really thin so double would probably be better. You can ask your Burger to be wrapped in lettuce instead of having the bun. Fries were bad. I mean they tasted like carbord. I thought they were supposed to be fresh?!?! They were inedible. Will I stop by again? Yes probably if Im passing by I would try again just because it was fun and didnt take that long. The people who work there are really nice. Good customer service. They were very busy but thats nothing new they are always busy.
Just what its billed to be: better than the mega-chains. Burgers and fries were decent. What was exceptional was the speed of service. The restaurant was full with about a dozen people waiting for orders. I counted no less than 15 people on the line in the kitchen. They still had our custom burger orders out within 15 minutes. Kind of amazing in this day and age.
Other than most customers not wearing masks... it was fantastic!Almost identical to the one I used to go to back home in San Diego. Great customer service, fast, fresh, hidden religious dogma. One thing I noticed people dont understand is food is given out by how little you order, not by when you ordered. Its pretty obvious. If you order 17 double doubles with shakes dont be surprised if every who ordered after you that just got a number 1 gets their food first.
These burgers are so good! I get mine Animal style (with onions). The service is phenomenal! The staff are always so nice and upbeat. The atmosphere has a good vibe. Not a fan of the handmade fries, thats the only reason I didnt give them a 5 star review.
Wow. What an udder waste of time and money. After opening a few years ago I finally had a reasonable opportunity to visit by walking up rather than waiting in the consistently longest drive through line in the northwest. How does this In-N-Out compare to others Ive visited in California?Ordered two cheeseburger and fries combos. As expected, they arrived with flavorless, uninspiring thin patties that wouldnt be out of place on a Dollar Menu McDonalds cheeseburger. The bun, which In-N-Out is so proud of, was more greasy than appetizing. The veggies were fine but didnt rescue a thoroughly disappointing sandwich.I picked up our order less than a minute of having my number called. The fries were nearly stone cold when I arrived back at our table - I shouldve checked before leaving the counter. By this point wed waited over thirty minutes for our order. My wife called the 800 number on the receipt and that person offered to fast track some replacements, but by then wed had enough of In-N-Out.There are In-N-Out zealots that will never say anything bad about them. But if youre not one, dont waste your time here. These burgers are nothing special. Totally consistent with my prior experiences. Want a better burger and fries? Go to the other side of I-5 and visit Five Guys.
First time here, & for some we thought It was gonna be hella bomb from all the hype we hear about. The only thing that is different is the secret sauce. We tried the animal style fries and got the double double. It was good but was not that satisfying as we thought it would be. Very fast paced, line was outside the door but got to us pretty fast. The drive thru line was ridiculously long.
I love innout, but I expect to hear about this place as an Oregon super spreader location. Virtually nobody is wearing masks or respects social distancing recommendations, and the dining area is poorly ventilated. I recommend the drive thru until the pandemic ends or kills off enough of my fellow burger enthusiasts to make it safe to share air again. The line is still long, but nobody can get within 6ft of you if youre driving.
Always amazing and I am happy to support a business that is willing to tell Biden where he can put his shot mandate!
The place is honestly just average. Nothing special and no reason there should be such a long line every time. They open at 10:30 and was there by 10:40. Line to prefer wasn’t bad and food cost was great. However, ordered animal fries and they already seemed like they had been sitting on a heating tray for hours. Burgers were alright, but I’ve tasted better at most pubs.
My 1st time at In-n-Out was horrible! Cold fries, soda with barely any ice and total confusion. That was last year when they started out.I waited a year to go back and this time I had a way better experience. Burger was awesome got thier 3x3 burger(secret menu item) fries still couldve been better but ar least they werent cold or burnt and drink was nice and frosty. Service was great and drive thru wasnt as bad either considering I went around 10pm. Overall very enjoyable and delicious with the exception of my fries or else I wouldve gave You guys a 5, but I will definitely be back
I get that some people love it and some people hate it. And some people don’t know what all the hype is about. And that is totally fine! I personally love in n out. I grew up on it living in Huntington Beach for 18 years and now that I live in wilsonville area I certainly do not mind spending a chunk of my day driving down to Salem to grab a double double or even 3x3 with animal fries. Soo good!!! There isn’t any other fast food spot that tastes the same. Probably cause everything is fresh. I know other burger spots follow the same methods but even still nothing tastes quite like a double double!
We finally got to try In-N-Out Burger! The line was just a little long, but moved quickly. Probably about 10 maybe 15 minutes. The burgers were pretty darn good, not greasy at all, good tomatoes and generous about of good crisp lettuce. Fries were fresh and hot but not what I would go there for. Prices are great, we got two cheese burgers and two fries for ten dollars and some change. Overall a good experience. Oh and the employees were great, very good attitudes for a busy crew.
I am from Southern California, so In-n-out is a familiar thing to me. Now that they are in Oregon, we are only 45 minutes away. The burgers and fries have a distinctive, fresh taste! In this restaurant, ordering inside is generally faster than drive through. Note to self, well done fries are too dry, I will try light well next time.
I have not been to an In-N-Out for about six years. We braved the lines and went for lunch. It took 75 minutes from the time we got in line to having a burger in my hand. Worth every minute. The double double was very tasty. They always season the burgers well and the toasted buns are excellent. Then there are the hand cut fries perfect as usual. These fries are worth the drive from anywhere. Top it off with a strawberry milkshake and it was a perfect meal.Love that there is now one so close to me.Dont miss out on this gem if you have never had their food. Thanks again In-N-Out
After waiting in line for over 30 minutes, I was excited to finally try the legendary and popular In-N-Out-Burger. I really wanted this to be good, but it was only okay. The fries werent very hot and for hand cut fresh fries... only tasted a small step above frozen. The burger was good... but nothing special. Had a chocolate milk shake that was nothing outside of regular and very small. Part of the problem is that they serve to you the meal in a handy box, which makes for an easy and convenient way to eat in the car, but then your food isnt covered or even wrapped, and cools by the time they give it to you. Overall, just okay and definitely not worth the wait. The staff is fantastic though.
This place has amazing burgers and fresh homemade fries. The service inside is really fast and the employees are very pleasant. The price of the food is very affordable and the shakes are definitely worth trying. I had a wonderful experience.
Mine and my husbands Anniversay was in August and with everything going on currently with covid we had to switch up how we celebrated. We ended up enjoying the new Conservation Path in Salem and then chose In-N-Out Burger for dinner.I highly recommend the conservation path BUT also In-N-Out!! The wait is long which is to be expected, there still relatively new and honestly, you cant beat the prices. Ive heard mixed reviews but everyones taste buds are different and I was impressed!! They do a great job in moving the two lanes for the drive thru. I think we counted 6 cars per line. All the staff are friendly and answer any questions you have. Great place for the family, a date, or if you just want to try something new. The menu is basic and simple, hence the name, you literally are In-N-Out. I will defintely be back!!
Solidly the best fast food burger. Good prices and fast service especially considering their volume.
This place is classic. Everything made fresh to order. In general, this chain has great Inn and Out time for orders, but thianparticular location struggles with keeping up the traditional pace, particularly the drive through. Inside service is about on par with most original restaurants in the original Cali chain. My go to is the 3x3, protein style with the grilled onions. Fries and a shake Never Hurt either as they are always on point.
I honestly was very afraid to try this location. The line of cars was to the street with three different Lanes. Surprisingly the line moves very fast and the burgers are very inexpensive. The fries were nothing amazing. But the burgers were great and fresh. Definitely worth coming back next time were in the area! ❤️
I have a soft spot for a double double with grilled onions and animal fries 🤷🏻♀️ I’m originally from California and missed them so much when I moved to Washington… Next move was to Vegas and was so stoked to have them available again, fast forward 3 years and back in the PNW to find out they have in n out in Oregon?!? 🤯 so happy!!!
Best fast food in the country! Who cares if they have a little religious message on their cups, napkins, etc. The burgers, fries and shakes are the best!
Get out of town if you dont like In-N-Out. I actually was meh about it until I did the whole secret menu and I stopped getting protein style. So this beauty is a double double made animal style with whole grilled onions and tomatoes. I gotta save this as a treat to enjoy once a year but boy, is it worth it! I did wait in line in the car for 53 minutes too. Got there at about 11:30am the Sunday after New Years. Wont do that again. Ill definitely go to the counter.
Okay so, that location has been there over a year and yet it still takes over AN HOUR to go through the drive through to get your food. Very much not In-N-Out. I dont get it. I really dont. Its just a burger place. Was the burger I had good? Yes. Yes it was. But definitely not worth the long wait, when you can readily get the same thing right away from 5 Guys and Nancy Jos right in town.I really dont get the cult-like fanaticism, and I dont appreciate it.
I have always enjoyed eating at the In-N-Out in California. This one is no exception! It is a great place to get good service and great food. The line can be long but its well worth it!
Service was good. Food was okay. It was nothing to write home to mom about. It wasn’t the best burger I’ve ever had but the price was good. It’s the only one around and we drove out of our way to try it. Wasn’t worth the trip though. Other burger places are better and have more options.
Food has gotten better and cooked better. First time wasnt so good. This time is MUCH better. Good burger and fries. HOT
Great service, good burgers, insane wait. in areas where there is an established in n out, there’s always a long line to order but the wait to get food is usually much shorter. i think we must have waited for over 30 minutes. i had time to drink 3 20oz drinks and use the bathroom twice.
In n out is back to normal! A craving satisfied. We came late at around 9 on a Sunday and everything was super quick. Hamburgers as good as I can remember 💗What is home? In n out is my home away from home. It reminds me of my childhood in California. I’m hoping they will open one closer to portland soon but i been going to this location for over a year once a month. The food flavor is very consistent and made to order. I love me some Neapolitan shake and animal fries. The menu is simple but it works. There’s always a line at the drive thru but it’s a bit shorter if you park and order inside(about 15 mins the last 2 times) As of February 2021 everything is still to go.
Take out…. Washington State to NorCal, family road trip to drop my daughter off at Stanford University. Had to eat In-n-Out as always! Double double animal style!!!! The best! Never disappointed, come to Tacoma! 🙏🏽❤️🥳
Delicious burgers typical of In-N-Out. The traffic routing to get here was confusing and the ordering ended up being faster ordering inside. They could improve their process by accepting online/app orders and then giving folks an eta for food, rather than keeping everyone waiting in cars which are left on while slowly slinking forward over 45 minutes or for people waiting out in the rain/cold listening for their number to be called. Customer service was excellent and mindful about social distancing.
I love the cheeseburgers but highly disappointed to see a cashier willfully go against health guidelines requiring to wear a mask, properly. I had to request him to fix his mask before placing my order. While waiting I watch for several minutes and orders where he did not fix his mask again for other customers. Josh needs to learn to respect his community before being paid to service it.
Ive never been to an In N Out, and found a good Niger with nothing special fries. It was good enough to repeat, though, much better than McDonalds or other fast food favs.
So excited this fabulous burger place has come further north. The staff are great and the place is properly outfitted for Covid protocols. The food is just as you expect from this classic California place. Theres a great big parking lot next door at target so its easy to pursue large vehicles and trailers.
Fresh food, limited menu. Would be nice if they offered a few more options. Outdoor dining and to go only at this time. It is very enjoyable to watch the precision amongst the employees. These folks are fast and dont miss a beat. Fries are made daily from fresh potatoes. You can watch their process...
Having been an on-again-off-again resident of Southern California for my entire adult life, Im no stranger to in-n-out. Its because of this, I was slightly skeptical about visiting an in-n-out so far from Baldwin Park. To my welcomed surprise, these guys have nailed it. They are also doing a great job of navigating these unprecedented times with the covid-19 global pandemic and being the crowd drawing place they are. Great job guys! You rock!
I’ve visited this In-N-Out three times now since it’s arrival a year or two ago. The staff are always friendly, and the place is pretty clean too.Comparing it to In-N-Out locations I’ve been to in California and even Medford, Oregon, I’ve been oddly let down here. The burgers have been fine, but nothing to write home about, and the fries have been surprisingly terrible each time without exception. Overdone, crunchy, tasteless messes. The one good thing you can always say about In-N-Out is that the prices are more than reasonable, and that holds true here. I just hope they can improve their quality as time goes on.
I mean what can I say is this review even needed? Absolutely love In N Out and this one didn’t disappoint! Amazing fries burgers and shakes. I’ve been missing some animal style and so glad I got my fix! People complaining it’s slow… whatever it’s busy and our service was great! Definitely coming back :)
A little bit of California in Oregon. Soon as I found out there was a In N Out 3 hrs away we hopped in the car. Road Trip! Waited in a bit of line to order but once we got the burgers it was all worth it and my family no longer thinks I’m crazy. I’ve had In N Out before but my family has not. They are all crazy with me now.
Its been 5 long years since our last In n Out, and from the very first bite of my double-double I was back in SoCal again... At least in my imagination. So many memories, such good burgers. Thanks all... Thank you very much.
Really friendly service,They were fast, The order was correct, there were no complaints. 9 out of 10
This is a crazy busy restaurant! It is rare that you dont have to wait in line (vehicle or standing) less than an hour. Ive come here a couple times before 11 AM. I was able to got my food in less than 1/2 hour. Proving Im not the only person who thinks In-N-Out burgers are the best. My favorite is Double Single extra tomato grilled onion, fries and a Coke with Spread but not animal style. Its fun learning their lingo also.
I used to love In N Out, but visiting this one cured me of that. The burger was tasteless, the fries were like cardboard, and the shake tasted weird (not pleasant). I don’t understand what happened, but perhaps it’s just so busy they’re cutting lots of corners now.
Food and Wait were great, as they get people thru quickly. The only downside to the indoor dining is that they loudly announce the order numbers constantly and if not picked up quickly, repeatedly. There should be a visual system for the order numbers and have some music playing for ambiance. If your order is 64 and they are announcing 32 it adds to the negative experience
Service was quick. Its a recently opened establishment and the crew inside were still learning the operations. Staff were professional, courteous and quick to accommodate a special request. Would happily return when in the area. Fairly easy to locate from the I-5 highway.
Remove the hype and pretend this is another fast food burger place. I have no idea what people remember but it does not hold up. Been there with 2 different CA people and I have to say...burger was OK, definitely not the best. Fries were old, animal style is nacho cheese, Thousand island, and Onions. Ballpark quality. Even the shake was disappointing. Not even remotely worth the hype.
The food is just amazing, the fries are fresh and you can definitely tell that they are fresh, the one problem I did have is the soda, it taste as if the soda was just left out for all the carbon bubbles to be let out and that is what the soda taste like, I dont know what happened or if thats how the soda is meant to be. Now, the most important thing is the wait time, when the restaurant first opened the wait time was usually like 4-5 hours but now its overall an hour to 30 minutes! The wait time has decreased so much! Despite the looping lines, the staff working outside handle everything very well! 5 stars hands down one of the best restaurants in the state. (In my opinion ofc)
The food was pretty good - but I dont believe that it is as good as its the reputation.Would come back, if it wasnt for the long lines and wait. Especially since there is a Nancy Jos just down the street.
We drove through. It took us about an hour to get our food, which isnt awful considering how busy it was. Food was good and hot when we got it. Service was excellent!
In-N-Out Burger is a great place to come and eat food with your family and friends, and I recommend you coming here. I recommend you getting the Double-Double and the Animal Fries, as those are really good from this place. I have been here multiple times before, and I plan on coming back for even more!
Love this place when I lived in California! The lines to order and get to just the drive thru are amazing though. Worth every minute I think lol.
Not sure what the hype is decent fast food burger. Fries could have been way better. Milkshake machine went down after my order so took another 20 minutes to get my order no offer to refund or see if they could do anything else.
Fast food done right!Other places need to take note. In-N-Out is purely great in speed, staff, taste, and low prices.I have been to many In-N-Out, and this is consistent everywhere.
Great experience. Line went quickly, lots of helpers. Complicated order went smoothly, drinks served first, food second. Upside, food was very good on the whole. Few downsides, tomato end was served, one shake was vanilla not chocolate. Enjoyed the animal style fries, that was a first.
Glad to hear about the San Francisco location standing up for our rights. I am gonna head to this place this weekend and spend some of my patriotic money.
