I am in town for my moms funeral. My family and I needed to find a place we could have a good beer and take the dogs and get everyone out of the house. We thought the brewery was dog friendly. It’s small and the outside area is very rocky. Hot day but when we asked if we could sit inside we were told “you can but we really don’t prefer it”. Beer is mediocre. Service was less than. We won’t be back. It is disappointing considering the website is a great representation and the owner seems awesome with a great story. Shannon ought to reconsider the staff or at minimum how they treat people.
Great staff and solid beer, I can always find something I like. There is rotating food truck and usually all are very good. Great place to hang out, and the Thursday run clubs are a lot of fun
We are locals here in Keller, so Shannon Brewing Company is our home team brewery! We like to sit on the patio which is large and covered. They often have food trucks (always good) and sometimes live music. They are dog-friendly and provide water bowls for the pups. The beer is the real story though: they have the full range of styles and all are good. In my opinion their strongest are the chocolate stout and the Festbier. The Irish Red is also great, and a unique take on the style. You can find the owner (Shannon) there on any given day, along with his wife and dog, Arlo.

After over a year of Covid precaution, we returned for the 7th Anniversary bash. We had a great time under the shade with good music and beers. Breanna was more than helpful with everything.sláinteprost

Kids, dogs, lots of people, and beer. That was my first impression of Shannon Brewing Company...and I love it!Pro Tip: If youre headed North on Main St. then keep a sharp eye out for the sign. The building actually sits way back off the road so it is easy to miss. If you do miss it make an immediate u-turn (theres a spot just a little way up) and then take your first left). The pictures I posted should help.The atmosphere here is really chill. I immediately thought next time I come Im bringing the kids and the dog. The beers are really good. So far my favorite are their peach wheat beers. Tons of seating outside. Which is perfect for today 81° F and early evening. There are cornhole games and Giant Yahtzee to play. Might be really hot in the summer. Community tables are inside and out. There is also copious bar seating inside. However, it might be cramped if it is hot outside and you visit during peak hours.I love the hops they have growing outside for decór. The place is rustic and really comfortable. Great local brewery centrally located in Keller. Lots of outside seating to enjoy sunshine and a cold adult beverage. Dogs are welcome. Hoping to see more events here, like live music and Geeks Who Drink!!
Great beer and great atmosphere! There is plenty of space to sit and lounge outside. The staff was friendly and super educational when it came to picking out a drink. I will certainly be back, and I will be looking for their beers in local stores!

Loving the live music and great beer. The staff has done so much to the taproom - and now they expanded the seating into the brew area (for additional adult seating). Our little local taproom is growing up :)

Its been two years since my last visit and the beer menu is much better. They had some barrel-aged brews on tap, a sour, some great hefeweizens, Irish red, and a Irish Cream ale...just a few.It was a bit slow for a Saturday afternoon - many people came for the beer to go. Very chill atmosphere, cozy, bartenders were nice.#GoodStuff

This place is a hidden gem, theres a great variety of beers and they taste amazing (try the Moore IPA, the Chocolate Stout or the Bango Wit!). They have a great patio and theres often food trucks around. The staff makes this place extra special, theres a great vibe and everyone is friendly and helpful.
We’ve been coming to Shannon for years and thoroughly enjoy it every time. It is dog friendly, kid friendly, family friendly, anyone is welcome here. Their beers are top of the line though I may be biased towards their red. Owner, family, and crew and some of the best. Convenient location and typically delicious food trucks here. You need to check SBC out! 🍺

I save 5 stars for places like this. (my max is 4)But Id rate them higher if I could. Excellent service. Excellent people. Excellent ambiance. Excellent beer. Cant think of a single negative, or anything marginal. And I know others share my opinion.

Rotating taps always impress, and there is always a safe option for those who are not adventurous with their beer tastes.FestBier is my new favorite lager— a light blend between a Marzen and a malty Pilsner.
Shannon Brewing is a great place to meet up friends and family and bring the dogs. Their Irish red has been a go to favorite for years now. We love Shannon brewing.

Had a great time! I had the Irish Coffee Cream Ale, it was delicious! Theres a wide selection, definitely something for everyone. Cousins Maine Lobster truck and cupcake sale was there. They need 1 more outdoor heater, about 10 of us were huddled around.
Family and pet friendly! Friendly knowledgeable staff helped pick beers for a flight. Blackberry wheat was one of the best fruity beers Ive ever had.Indoor and outdoor seating and food truck usually available.
There is very little room inside and there are no working space heaters or fires outside. This is a simple fix and one that would allow a lot more people to visit the brewery in winter months. We tried five or six different beers and the consensus was average. Three star beers and one star deducted for having to sit out in the cold on a Friday night.
Great place to spend an afternoon. $15 for 3 draft beers and you get to keep your point glass. Outdoor seating under cover with cooling misters allows you to enjoy a beer even on a summer day. Tours available. The beer is good and the staff is friendly. A great place overall.
Nice variety of craft brews, and we love the running club on Thursday evenings, and hope it will resume soon since the covid19 hiatus

I have not had the pleasure of going to brewery yet but I took a chance and bought a six pack of Shannon Hazelnut Chocolate Stout from Total Wine and Oh My God it was delicious!! So I will definitely be going there--soon !!!

Very nice of the road little private area. Beer is good quite chill atmosphere. People are friendly. Food truck has good food also. It’s also dog friendly! Dogs are aloud inside and outside.

Shannon Brewery is a great place to go and hang out. I have been multiple times and everytime the service and the beer have been fabulous. I am new to Texas and was looking for a cool place to hang out and I have found that at Shannon Brewery. The first time I went, the bartender was very courteous and being new to the brewery scene and new to the Texas (5point) beer, he suggested a shandy. I absolutely loved it and was very impressed with the beer and the service. If you are looking for a fun relaxed place to grab a beer and make some new friends, then Shannon is your place:)
Nice selection of beer. Seems to have improved since was last here almost 2 years ago. They have more variety now than what you can find in stores. Had the Mor IPA. Could use a little more seating inside as it was very cold on 4/7 and it was packed.

We recently rented out the brewery for a private event and everything was spectacular. The price is great, the beers are great and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Thanks for helping to make our event an excellent one!
I liked when they first opened and where charging $8 a pint (Of course they dont remember that....I do....$32 for 4), but now they seem to be creeping back to that point of $7, might as well charge $10 a pint (your in Keller after all). Thats all their about $$$. Have you noticed this beer is one of the highest priced, just under Ballast point at local Groceries. I Notice the License on the wall to sell and knew you dont buy those kind just to have tours, your opening a Premium tap room with a new business. Translating to higher consumer cost! And also, as with other negative posts Ive seen, I believe that they are manipulating social media, paying to steer traffic, on posts and marketing. Try a search and see who comes out near the top, when looking for brewerys. So many better Brewerys nearby! Nice, but I live next door to em and would rather drive to Denton or Fort Worth City and even Dallas for reasonable priced micro beer at BETTER Brewerys. I was actually excited when they opened but after a couple of stops there, no more. Also yes, it costs in gas to get further out but its worth it to thumb my nose at their Gold Mine (into your pocket). Oh and Yes, Im sure buddy I was at Shannon small b rewing. You boys should think before we the consumers read your attacking people sharing their opinion, just because you dont like it!!! Its there to help, either consumer or provider in order to do business better!!!!
My favorite brewery. The beers are delicious. The brewery is a great place to hang out and the food trucks are awesome. The staff are very helpful and fun to talk to. Glad to see Shannon doesnt shy away from defending their product from snobs that cant tell what a good beer tastes like.
Really nice small brewery. Great outdoor area. Staff is super friendly. The beers are all Irish and solid. I would like to have seen something more adventurous, but still not disappointed with the line up.
Nice little Irish style brewery just north of Keller on Main St. They have a great selection of beers to choose from and run special brews occasionally. It is a great environment that is pet and family friendly. The staff are all friendly and they keep the place in great condition. We meet up every Thursday for a social run with the Shannon running club.
I have tried every beer and loved them all. I love the fact that Shannon is there and is approachable. He has a wealth of knowledge and brews a great beer. There DIPA is by far the best I have ever drank. The grapefruit IPA is coming back soon and I cant wait.

We will definitely be back! Easy laid back place to enjoy a beer and get some great bbq. Kids meals only $4, the beer was unique and tasty and a few games to play on the patio.
Beer is great and people were nice. However, we will not be returning. Im cool with people bringing their dogs, but they must be leashed. There were several dogs roaming around unsupervised including one that belonged to a staff member. One dog was was eating out of the trash and another dog tried to get my 9yr old sons food. We had to guard my son the whole time. Not very fun!
Delicious beer. Great story of the brewery and their process.The Irish Red is amazing. Im not normally a fan of IPAs, but theirs was surprisingly good.The Chocolate Stout is great, even for people who normally prefer lighter beers.
