Today I saw Dr Pierini and he was AMAZING! Best bedside manner I have seen in a long time. I was tired and nervous and he put me right at ease. If I could give him 10 stars I would. I hope he loves Texas and stays. His nurse was also great.When it was time to check out Jennifer was also amazing. Usually the billing person at a Dr office is awful but not Jennifer. She was kind, friendly and really nice to deal with.All in all the entire office staff were really friendly and great to deal with. I am so thankful I chose this office. What a blessing!

I am so amazed with Dr. Parr and all the staff! I had an ingrown toenail bothering me and they took care of it in no time. Since the moment I stop at the office I found everyone so knowledgeable on their duties, working very efficiently and made the entire process so quick and painless. I Highly recommend them!

Dr. Parr was so awesome!!! I was completely nervous and could not stop talking. He was kind and patient and kept talking to me throughout the entire procedure. This place is a god send Dr Reddy and his staff britney the Nurse I had and Heather the biller all where so nice britney came to check with me before doing Britney becuase of finance and heather would give me estimates up front the DR .DR . Careful while visiting this facility, they have no regard for their patients. Employees are still allowed to work while having Covid-19. I think that’s very unfortunate due to the fact that the times I’ve visited, the majority of their patients are elderly. They say that masks are required, but from what I can tell it’s not enforced.

This place is incompetent!! First visit on March 4, 2021 for shoe inserts due to Plantar Fasciitis.The inserts took almost 2 months to get; caused foot pain so they had me pay more money to “fix” them AND NOW IT IS ALMOST SEPTEMBER AND I DO NOT HAVE THEM!!!I called office and they have to call lab for update!!!Nobody is following up on labs for product.DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR HELP!!!!YOU LITERALLY GET NO HELP! ONLY PAY THEM MONEY!!!

I’ve been a patient for a few years, Dr Parr provides excellent care using new technology and methods to deal with foot pain. I highly recommend. The whole staff is great, efficient and friendly.

Dr Parr has been taking card of me for 8 years including a serious infection. I moved away 4 years ago and still make the 50 mile drive to see him for my regular exams. He’s the best and the staff is great. I would recommend.

Dr. Parr is the GREATEST podiatrist, he has been treating my Mother and we just love his Positive and Upbeat energy, he’s also very knowledgeable and I highly recommend him... Saw Dr. Parr for Achilles’ tendon issues and starting with the least invasive treatments we did reach one that made it feel so much better and we were able to avoid surgery! The entire staff is friendly and helpful..

I am leaving a 5 star review because Dr. Jimenez did an exceptional job and his bed side manners were phenomenal with my son. He was very informative and explained along the way while performing the needed procedure. He helped ease the tension and concerns I had as well. Now, with that said, I have an issue with how the office/ billing was handled. I am asking for more transparency and better communication when handling the insurance and payments. I did not appreciate the discussion being handled in the patients room, which in my point of view was not professional. I was caught off guard when the MA was speaking about the newly accrued balance. I hadnt even made it to the front desk when payment was being discussed. When I finally did approach the front desk I had a lot of questions because Im trying to figure out what was going on about the unexpected bill (thinking the specialist co-pay would be the only charge). After a lot of explanations from the front desk I had a better understanding, though finding out at the end of the visit instead of the beginning was uncalled for. One of the ladies said they knew since yesterday about the deductible issue (hence todays billing), which is why I recommend more transparency. I would have like to have been notified yesterday so I would have not been caught off guard today. Please take my recommendation as a positive change to ensure better office performance for your clients.

Dr Parr is a great Podiatrist !! Cant say enough good things about him and his staff. I wouldnt go anywhere else! I always enjoy going in for my visits. Hes done wonders for my feet.

Not helpful; also charged $150/foot for XRays. Same XRays done at different provider several months prior and those were $70/foot. This place charged $310 for a 40 min consultation, which was no more than 15 min. Other provider charged $150 for a 30 min consultation, which was also about 15 min. Save your money. Also, didn’t even bother to look at or talk to my husband - so rude.

I came across with Dr Parr after I was admitted into a hospital with diabetic sores and became friends with the nurses and they encouraged me to wait and see dr parr when he came to the hospital because they thought I was going to lose my foot. Other dr wanted to amputate my foot but dr parr told me it’s going to be a process but do as I say and trust me... I did I had to wear a cast for 11 months where I had to take it off every Monday and put a new one on. It killed me cause I had to cancel two trips to Mexico and couldn’t get in the pool all summer. Well he saved it and I am still a patient of his as of today and have sent several friends to him. Great staff and highly recommend Dr Parr.

Awesome service. I hadnt been able to walk without pain in months. 80% better in 1 visit. 2 months and 3 visits later my pain is completely gone. Walking a mile every morning now. I couldnt be happier. Thank you Dr. Dacus .

I highly recommend Academy Foot & Ankle Keller for any foot problem you may be having. Dr. Dacus and Dr. Parr are top notch in their field. They are very knowledgeable and take the time to actually listen to their patients. The office staff are very nice and will go above and beyond to make sure you’re cared for! This office does not disappoint.

I had some pretty bad bunions on my feet and after going thru my insurance company, I found Dr. Parr in Keller, TX (I live in Red Oak, TX). My husband and I drove this hour long adventure back in March of this year and has been a normal occurrence every few months since. My first surgery was in March of this year (2019) on my right foot and my second surgery was on my left foot in September, 2019. Each and every visit was very pleasant and office staff was very professional, nice and polite, and Dr. Parr was very superior in his skills, professionalism, and work! He was an answer to a prayer! My feet were in horrible shape constantly hurting, now they have both been corrected and I am able to walk normally with no pain!

Worst facility ever. Ive worked reception for a doctors office for 13 years and these people are by far the most incompetent and lazy airheads Ive EVER run into. In my office we work on next day patients the day prior to ensure that they are authorized for the visit and any referrals are taken care of. These people could not be bothered. They attempted to get the referral as we are waiting to see the doctor. They can not be bothered to research the phone number of the doctor but asked us for it. They were not able to get the referral we rescheduled. Went to OUR doctor gave them all the information. Went BACK to this facility and they STILL couldnt get the referral. I reach out to my docotrs office who bent over backwards and gave me the direct line that they needed to call. I then provided academy with the number and as before was told we would have to pay cash if we wanted to see the doctor. Long story short, unless youre willing to pay cash? Dont bother seeing this doctor. The knuckle-head in reception have NO CLUE were they are doing. If they were to do this in MY doctors office? They would have been fired ages ago.

I recently went and visited with Dr. Parr regarding my foot pain. The office in North Fort Worth off of Heritage Trace was exceptionally clean and the staff was very friendly. Dr. Parr exceeded all my expectations and made sure I understood my diagnosis. I will be sure to recommend Academy Foot and Ankle.

Would not recommend to anyone. Very BAD experience. Was not told up front that products ie. wound care kit and post op surgical shoe was optional and they consider it an over the counter item. Thereby, will NOT bill insurance company and you must pay them.

My doctor was Dr. Parr and I must say I was very pleased with his service. He thoroughly explained my pain and upon his recommendation of what footwear and orthotics to choose I am walking limp-free which is good because I work 12/hr shifts.He is very people-friendly, always has a pleasant smile on his face and takes the time to listen. The staff is very pleasant as well and wait time is not unusually long. All in all, a very pleasant atmosphere and experience. Pre-Op appointment with Dr.Parr. Facilities were clean and the staff was polite.

I was unimpressed with the Dr. He didnt explain much. After an x-ray of my foot he said my problem could be one of several things. He said the cure would be purchasing a therapeutic boot. He left the room and sent in his assistant to sell me a boot the cost of $177 just for my copay. The Dr. did not return to the room. I declined the purchase of their boot and went home and looked on Amazon and found the same boot for $49. Because I felt all they cared about was selling me a medical supply at a ridiculous price I would not recommend Academy Foot and Ankle.

Dr Dacus is the best Podiatrist/Doctor we have had for a long time. He is truly concerned with his patient. He reads the MRI himself instead of simply accepting the Radiologists report. He found something the Radiologist missed. He explains everything in depth and is patient to answer our questions and concerns. He is worth the wait if you have to wait for him.

The front office lied to my face saying that she called me yesterday for the referral which she DID NOT because I took the appointment today ! Then when I manged to get the the referral after less than half an hour fom my appointment they say that the cant see me now they have to push the appointment until the afternoon !.which I dont mind if I wasnt in excruciating pain from my foot and I cant wait.Its less than half just consider me late patient and let me in am really IN PAIN .Basically they will not do anything to accommodate your pain,they will lie to your face and they dont care even when its there mistake and you are Suffering .

Today was the second time I had to go to this office… The doctor is very nice and pleasant. The problem is the waiting time… The first time I went I waited over 30 minutes to be seen. Today when I went I waited 40 minutes. I went up to the receptionist and ask she told me I was next in line… After another five minutes she came back and told me he had a procedure to perform and it might be best if I reschedule. I feel if a doctor is running that far behind someone to take the time to call his patients and let them know. My time is valuable as well. I had to take time off for this appointment… I will not go back.

Ive had multiple procedures done by Dr. Dacus. He is incredibly patient, friendly, and professional. By far the best physician I have ever interacted with. I have also overheard him with his staff, with whom he is also incredibly warm and kind. I highly recommend this office!

I broke my foot & ankle in a motorcycle accident. Dr Parr performed my surgery & I am seeing him still for my follow up and healing. I really like him a lot & feel confident that Im in good hands. He has a great bedside manner too.

After being referred to this location with high praise, I made an appointment. The wait was ridiculous. The doctor was nice, but the part that was the worst was the billing practice. My insurance co-pay was $50. The lady at the front desk charged me $142 stating unmet portions and co-pays. I paid it because I believed she knew what she was talking about. When my insurance EOB arrived what do you know, my portion was only $50 and they paid the rest! It has been almost three months and no reimbursement has been received. I have tried to involve the insurance company and now, I am going to involve the state for over billing.I get mad every time I see the person who suggested this place!

Was exceptionally pleased with the level of care Dr. Parr gave to me after I had a foot injury. His assistant, Katie, and front desk person, Ruth, always listed to my concerns and addressed them. I was well taken care of and gladly recommend that office.

This is an amazing office. Dr. Dacus is one of my all time favorite doctors. But its not just Dr. Dacus that makes this place great. Its the fantastic staff. Liz in the front is so helpful and Makayla the MA is funny & sweet. They are all so caring.

Dr Dacus has been more concerned for my injury than any one else in 5 months. He reads the MRI himself and saw something the radiologist missed. He is willing to work with others to get me the best treatment plan. I trust him completely to care for my injury and recovery.

While he was checking out my recovery, I mentioned the chronic back pain I had suffered for, well forever. I have seen both Dr. Dacus and Dr. Parr. Since Dr. Dacus doesnt perform surgery he recommended me to Dr. Parr. Prior to seeing Dr. Parr, I went to another foot/ankle surgeon who recommended I undergo either and Ankle fusion or replacement but since he didnt do that type of surgery he recommended me to a Dallas surgeon. Since I live in Fort Worth, I didnt want to go all the way there and I wasnt ready to undergo those types of surgeries, so I went back to see Dr Parr. He recommended I undergo arthroscopic surgery first to see how that worked for me. I appreciated his honesty and his kindness and the way he makes you feel like your his only patient. His nurse Katie is wonderful as well. She is always smiling and the times I needed to speak to her by phone, she called me back within a matter of minutes. And then there is Ms. Ruth at checkout who is so friendly and kind. EVERY appt I had, I did not sit in the waiting room for more than 10 minutes and I have not waited for Dr. Parr to come into the room for no more than 10 minutes either. I recommend this practice for anyone with foot and ankle issues and I am so thankful for the care I received.

Have been a patient here for over a year. Had an appointment at 10:00AM this morning. I arrived at 9:48AM. At 10:20 I still had not been called back. I went to the front desk and she told me it may be a little while. I ended up having to reschedule since I had another appointment across the street at 10:40AM. I explained this to the scheduler when I made the appointment and she said it shouldn’t be an issue. The Doctor Dacus is kind but usually only spends about 10-15 mins with me and since this was a follow up I thought it would be ok. It’s extremely unprofessional to be this late. I can understand 5 minutes or so. But 20+? Now I have to take more time off work to come back. I am not happy. Reading other reviews the extended wait times and being behind on appointments have been an ongoing issue with this office. It appears nothing has been done to resolve the problem.
