First visit 2this shop in Kelso across fm. Kelso PD. The place is beautiful, cozy, spacious, attractive & lots2see &do. Vicky was helpful in searching4a specific gift yarn yet no success but we came very close. Beautiful items hand made on display, assessories needed2knit, gadgets, coffee lounge, classroom area n lots 2see! Amy, local Owner has a f/t job + is a rare in the store....

This is a wonderful specialty yarn shop! Parking is a breeze. The shop is charming, big comfortable chairs to sit and crochet. Coffee bar to enjoy. The new owner is so friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. This local store is a gem. Go check it out!

Awesome yarn store - and community! Strolled in on a friend’s recommendation, ran into another fiber friend here! Smaller towns grow Great communities, I feel, and it is True here. Great selection and active community on a Saturday. Wonderful!

Stopped in while on a road trip. Great selection of both luxury yarns and workhorse yarns in all kinds of fiber, and the staff and local knitters were super friendly! Shops are not always welcoming to younger people but this one was great.and WOW, they have an amazing space to sit and knit! very generously roomy, with great chairs.

I used to knit. A lot. Like, that was kind of my thing for a while. (Long story; will skip for brevity. Youre welcome.) ANYWAY, I know yarn shops. Ive been to about a zillion of them, and every one of them has a personality all its own. LaFavorites is no different. It is warm and inviting, and the yarn selections are really top-notch. Its hard to even walk through it without petting things, and even though *I dont knit anymore*, I bought yarn. THATs how good it is here -- the well-curated wool fumes will seduce even a non-knitter to buy it. (Its like MAGIC, I tell you. Or wizardry. Either way.) The staff was friendly and helpful, and had no problem helping enable my latent fiber addiction, and if I wasnt afraid Id end up with more sticks and string in my hands, Id go back just for the color inspirations (and maybe one of those gorgeous leather bags she carries, too...).

Love going to LaFavorites knit shop. Amy is wonderful at helping and so friendly. She has many types of yarn and always getting new things. Love her shop.

A fine selection of beautiful yarns from around the world. Amy has a wonderful sense of color, which shows in her yarns, and I saw the most beautiful wool, silk, cotton, cashmere, linen, alpaca, and Angora. And, as if that wasnt enough, she also offers cappuccino, and folks drop in to her classroom space for impromptu stitching and chatting. My favorite yarn store in WA!

LaFavorites yarn shop is a yarn lovers dream. Amy has a wide variety of yarn weights in fabulous colors. Lots of yarns with various fiber content. There are samples of projects knit and crocheted for good ideas for that special homemade gift. The decor is stunning with a flair of homeyness, that always makes me feel welcome. How about a coffee or hot/cold tea. LaFavoites are always there with a friendly smile and helpful advice.

As a natural fiber yarn snob....and a serious knitter.....I love this shop! Fabulous atmosphere and coffee bar, a well-rounded assortment of all yarn gauges: Lace to bulky. The customer support here is top notch. Amy and Kristin are always happy to assist me, and always with a smile.

All of the yarn is lovely with a range of color and weight choices. The shop is warm and comfortable. Amy makes some great coffee too.

I love La Favorites and Amy LaFave. I think a previous reviewer had her shops confused. Tremendous selection of quality yarns in a variety of fibers - alpaca, merino, silk blends, cotton, hemp. Amy has special ordered several times for me from two of her suppliers. Home to a great group of knitters ranging from rock stars to enthusiastic beginners. Definitely the most well decorated yarn shop Ive been in. Even has a coffee bar womanned by two of the NW s premiere foamers. Cant think of anything more Id want from my local yarn shop.

I am responding to Diana Grubers (who has been attending the group for awhile) horrible review. I have been going to La Favorites for over a year. A very congenial group of knitters meet a couple of times a week and we range from very experienced, advanced to beginners. The selection of yarns range from natural fibers, including wool, alpaca, silk, linen, cotton and yes acrylic too. Yarn companies include Blue Sky, Shibui, zauberball, Mirasol, Juniper Moon, Cascade and many more. La Favorites is a full service yarn shop and even has a coffee bar that serves barista drinks. The knitting space is set up with long tables and chairs and very good lighting to knit. Amy Lafave is a very savvy business woman and she and Kristin provide friendly expert service as well as delicious drinks. Do not let Dianas personal vendetta keep you from exploring this unique shop.
