My 11 yr old collects Littlest Pet Shop, and we were thrilled to find a shop that sells the older pets which are so popular amongst kids who watch LPS Tube (YouTube videos using LPS pets). But buyers should beware that the main rare types (collies, shorthair cats, dachshunds, cocker spaniels, great danes) are 90% aftermarket pets (otherwise known as fakes.) These range in prices of $20 to $30. You can tell by the matte finish in the eyes, and white neck pegs on some of the poorly made aftermarkets. Good collectors will know this, but I worry about those who might be fooled. Its fine to sell these pets, but the pets should be labeled as such and priced accordingly. These pets cost roughly $5 with free shipping from China on Ebay. Only authentic rare pets should be sold at this $20 to $30 price range. The more common pets are authentic though, ranging in prices from $4 to $15 or so. (Somewhat overpriced, but at least authentic!) There are some sets still in package that are authentic and priced higher. There are small individual accessories for $2 to $6 or so. I dont know if the sellers are aware of the aftermarkets and deliberately attempting to fool buyers, or they are just unaware. We were fortunate to find an authentic collie which we purchased, but collectors should carefully study these pets to know what they are buying.
