I just wanted to say my hats off to the bakery department the person that helped me whats up the most wonderful lady I have met in a very long time. This lady only had three hours and made me a double layer wedding cake for my daughter, she was the best,the kindness and I cant say enough my hats off to her thank you so much bakery department

They have the basic needs... Shelves are always close to empty. They never have enough water. Lots of puzzles though, seems people are not interested in puzzles down here lol

First time in this particular WalMart, its been here for a while, but it looks like its just been built. Everything is clean and looks great. It was easy to find the things I came in for, intuitive store layout. The restrooms were very clean and the associates were helpful, made eye contact, showed concern that I find the things I couldnt find myself. The gentleman at the electronics section was busy with other customers, but prioritized and helped open the locked merchandise for everyone, including me. He also proved very knowledgeable of the items he had on hand and what is not carried at the store. A+ for good teamwork, knowledge, and effort to help.

Tell me why you act like youre hiring if youre not. im so annoyed with hearing your employees complain that theyre short staffed then when I check my status and call im greeted with a rude woman who tells me its up to HR and theyll get to it when they get to it. then immediately get an email saying theyve moved on to other candidates.

Did curb side pick up it went very smooth other then no info on where curb side pick up is located at. Nothing showing where to park to pick up. Had to run inside n ask where I was to go to get my curb side order.

I usually dont Walmart shop simply because I find their business practices unethical. However, today it was necessary because there were things I needed but yet was unable to find at their local competitor.I try not to hold Walmart to the same standards as other stores. I do that to avoid disappointment and aggravation. However, they were beyond the pale today.I found the Kenai Walmart fairly clean, and somewhat cluttered, as per usual. Employees were working freight and exhibited a distinct please dont bother me air. I found several grocery items shelved and stocked but not labeled. So many that it was obvious their grocery manager was either neglectful or incompetent.I could not find most of the items I sought, but did find some. That was one key small success.I went to the self-checkout. The very last item would not properly scan and the automated register put a dead halt on the transaction. It signaled for assistance. Five minutes later, assistance had yet to arrive. I subsequently left. Walmart simply didnt want to invest in my business.During my entire time shopping there, I came within ten feet of probably twelve employees. I was never greeted once and was not once asked if I was finding everything I was looking for. They also all avoided eye contact, which suggests they really didnt want to be there either.It doesnt take a ton of money for good customer service. The first step a manager has to take is accept that attitude reflects leadership and if the manager doesnt lead, he creates a poor environment.Obviously, the Kenai Walmart management suffers from leadership deficit.

Very nice to have this store in Soldotna! They have waders, fishing gear, fish processing equipment and food to make your trip more affordable and convenient.

Soldotna Creek Park is a nice place to chill during Summer evenings with the family. Food trucks and merchandise vendors give the aire of a local fair each week. Music at the bandstand on Wednesdays. Come and dance to the music, or toss down a cold one at the Beer Gardens (inside the snow fence).

Typical walmart. Self checkout was quick and easy. All shelves were stocked. Gave us free cupcakes to promote ordering online.

Back to visit Alaska and the family. The store is very busy and picked over pretty heavily at this time. The fish are in and so are the tourist. Come prepared.

Couldnt find some of the stuff we were looking for. The store is too big to find stuff without a detailed directory.

Yesterday was the final straw with walmart and there deceptive pricing,, there price gouging, with there lies,, and complete unprofessionalism especially in the upper (so-called) chain of command. I spend several several thousand a month at Walmart all to be disrespected by not only the manager (he was an old man no he didnt tell me his name and he wore no name badge and was in plain street clothes) but by every employee. Not 1 employee could actually tell me the truth about some boots that were on clearance. A few days ago and employee couldnt explain why they had blacked out every upc bar on these boxes since they claim these ones were not on clearance like the other exact same ones were. So when I asked for a manager I got i dont know who they were she tried to explain to me that they marked the bar codes out(mind you marked out bar codes typically means clearance) because they were ringing up lower 48 prices, so in other words because we live in Alaska they are allowed to hike the price way up? (Its bad enough that Walmart wont even honor there prices on there own app (which are way lower)). Then not 5 seconds later the lady goes on to tell me the bar codes are marked out so that it forces the employee to actually open the box and make sure the shoes were there. So they refused to honor the clearance price of $27. So yesterday when i went to have price correction done (obviously the have a really big issue with there pricing team not doing there job) i bought a pair of avia capris and they were clearanced to $7 a whole table of them well they rang up $14.96 so upon returning to get the price fixed i am told they have to refund the whole purchased price of 15.00 (some change) and then rering me up for the clearance price and then charge my credit card again for the $7 price (so not only am i being charged the 15 something (since it does take 7 days to go back into your bank account) but also another $7. Not the 1st times either they did it with a tv i purchased refunded $318 (which took 7 days to go back into my account) and recharged me the correct price of just over $200. After that correction i explained to the lady at the customer service counter about the boots from a few days before and she asked me to show her so i took her to the big display she grabbed a team lead on the way (mind you the team lead was beyond rude and disrespectful and doesnt know how to treat customers how she has a job still i dont know) well neither one could tell me why the baroness were marked out and not ringing up the clearance price.. then the excuses started team lead said she could price adjust she didnt have the authority so i said find me someone who could.. she said there was no one. Then she told me if she marks them down this one time will i shut up and be satisfied and i could never ask for a price adjustment again. Sure why not. So grabbed the size needed went to counter then the real problems started. The only size available that i needed wasnt the boot the team lead was referring to (go figure) then very vary rudly brought this very old fat man up claiming him to be the manager (FYI WALMART IF THIS IS WHO YOU HAVE RUNNING YOUR STORE YOU MIGHT WANT TO GET THIS OLD MAN IN CHECK CAUSE THE WAY HE TREATED NOT ONLY A CUSTOMER BUT A DISABLED CUSTOMER IS BEYOND WRONG AND TO THE POINT I MAYBE CONTACTING AN ATTORNEY ON THIS DISCRIMINATION AMONG ALOT MORE THINGS THEY ARE IN VIOLATION OF) he wouldnt even let me finish a sentence before his disrespectful rude mouth would cut me off. When I offer the proof of those boots being in the clearance table he wanted nothing to do with it, at that point I was beyond done being disrespected to the point where this rude old grumpy man told me I am tresspassed and not allowed back all because I was arguing walmarts deceptive pricing and customer service, its actually pretty funny cause I surprised myself with how calm I stayed through it all having the disabilities that I do have. Dont even get me started on the loss prevention. They target disabled people w/service animals. Discriminatio

Clean store, found what I needed quickly and price was comparable to other stores we had been to.

They charge more tax than most the other stores 6% (because of their location) others charged 3% and Anchorage Walmart charged no tax.

Hard to find people to help find products and alot of shelves wiped clean.Forcasting isnt so great.

I highly recommend Walmart at Kenai Spur Highway This is the Cleanest,Well Organized Walmart i ever seen A Huge Store with Lots/Tons of Item to Choose from.Big Parking Lot Clean Toilet! Kudos to all the Management and Staff for doing an Awesome Job in Here.Came all the way from CA cant help but notice the Huge Difference.Its like the same Walmart feels but into a different level.Keep up the Good Work👍👍👍

I dont think I can find the words to describe the excellent service that I received starting with Pam and Connie from the Garden Center they spent over an hour helping me with Easter donations for the Womens shelter, Kovy in Electronics/Photos Department and last but not least Ariana in Customer Service! Very clean store . Employees were polite. Very extensive outdoor-sporting goods selection.

This Walmart is fantastic. Much better than any of the Anchorage stores. It is an hour from us but a beautiful drive.

This walmart always seems to have workers rhat work in certain sections that they have no idea about. Everytime i ask a question in most sections including customer service; they never seem to have the answer and instead of offering to find someone that knows, they say things such as, Im not sure; sorry. Im not saying they need to fire there employees or replace with better ones. Im saying having it happen so often, its obvious the company needs to do a better job at training there employees so that if they are assigned to one section such as electronics and only electronics; they need to train them accordingly to answer certain customer questions. To have an idea of what kind of questions, they could read customer comments and reviews such as mine and use that as an example and how to handle whatever questions or comments are brought to them in the future.

Im both pleased and dismayed..greeter at the front door was quite rude but stocker inside was very helpful. I would give 2 1/2 starts but it wont let me.

Well....its Walmart so... They had a larger selection than the other local stores. Many items have been hard to come by since covid started. Some hard to find items were here so thats a plus. Im just not an avid Walmart shopper but its always nice to know I can sometimes get those hard to find items.

Employees were terrible, especially in Electronics! On duty manager appeared to be responsive to our complaint.
