Jim and his crew came out to replace our furnace and central air. Our furnace was over 20 years old and needed to be replaced before winter, our a/c wasnt as old, but we felt we should have both replaced at the same time. There was no pressure from Jim to replace it when he came out to give us a quote. They did the install quickly and neatly, even though they encountered some trouble due to previous poorly done installation of our air. They went over and above in correcting the problem, having to take out and add new duct work. They are highly qualified and honest. I recommend them highly to anyone needing work or installation.

These guys were terrific! I replaced a gas boiler with a forced air furnace and air conditioning, including duct install. They were professional and did a beautiful job. The house was spotless when they were finished, They completed the job in 2 and 1/2 days! On top of that, the price was great. I would highly recommend them for a quality job at a fair price.

Fast, credible service. 30 minutes from the time I called to when they arrived. Woke up to a 50 degree home this morning thanks to our furnace acting up. Called Reimer and was told they couldnt get here for 5 days; Reached out to Hometown and the guys were here in 30 minutes! They diagnosed, solved the problem, and told us next steps. My experience with this company deserves much more than 5 stars. First of all when I called Jim I hadent had heat for 2 weeks. It was cold and snowing. He came out told me I needed a new furnace. I told him It would have to wait about 8 days till I got paid again. We made the date and he left. Welll 10 min. Latter he called back and said I hate the thought of you guys being cold we will come out tomorrow to do the job and you can pay me next week. OMG I was floored. I was in tears. I just could not believe there were ppl out there that still took someones word at face value! They came put the new furnace in and that night me and my kids were warm while ut was 20 degrees and snowing outside. Amazing. People. I love them and there work is supurb!!!Fast foward about 2 weeks latter. My heat was not worki g again. I called Jim and asked if he could come check it out in the morning. Nope he came out at 9 at night to check it out. Told me I needed an electrician for frayed wires. He even gave me a person to call. Then like before he came back at 10 pm to just check one more thing. Well ge was out with the tech the next day to fix it...free of charge!! If it was not for this company I do not know what I would have done! Oh and I had 2 broken windows and he has a guy for that too!!!If you want reliable service that wont put you in the poor house..call hometown. They are the BEST!! I will not call anyone else...EVER.

I HIGHLY recommend Hometown heating and cooling! I am a single mother owning my own house, I had problems with my furnace on a Friday night and they came without hesitation at 7pm!! Hometown Heating and Cooling is simply amazing. I didnt think companies like this existed anymore -- everything you could ask for in a contractor and then some: responsive, knowledgeable, and honest. A co-worker had recommended them, so when my furnace quit, I called them. They came within two hours and had it running again in no time. Turns out it was a simple fix, but what do I know about HVAC systems? They could have sold me a bill of goods, but thats just it: they didnt. I had them back to clean my furnace and A/C and install a condensate pump. Great service, very reasonable rates. Im sold. These guys are super. Hardworking, smart, and sincere. And their prices are terrific. They are also just really nice people. Im so glad I found them!

Scott and the guys were great. Extremely transparent about what needed to be done and all of the different options I had available. He communicated promptly and fixed everything very quickly considering I needed a bunch of parts that no are no longer manufactured. I will definitely call Hometown for my personal home as well.

BUYER BEWARE. I have used Hometown on two occasions- each time, I needed to use a different resource to solve the root issue- both ended up being relatively simple/inexpensive fixes. The second scenario was particularly frustrating- they believed I needed to replace my whole A/C unit when, in reality, the issue was the contactor that they replaced not being compatible for my unit. (My A/C is working well now with a compatible contactor). I would NOT recommend their service to others. It seems as though they have a hidden agenda.

I highly recommend HomeTown heating and cooling. I discovered furnace was not working. I called them in them Thursday morning and they were at my house by early afternoon. They took time analyzing the problem and discovered that the problem was the Inducer motor. We scheduled to have the inducer replaced on a Saturday as they did not have the part available at that time. On Friday morning I received a call stating they had had some cancelations and could come fix it that day! Even called back on Saturday morning to make sure the furnace was running properly. It was and excellent experience from start to end. Very knowledgable, professional and flexible. They made what could be a very stressful experience not stressful at all. Thank you very much Scott !

I own an old home with boiler heat on the first-floor and forced air upstairs. It made air conditioning installation a unique problem.Because of the radiators, the guys had to cut vents in all the first-floor rooms and install ductwork to them in the basement. Two of the rooms were over a nasty crawlspace area that required belly flopping through filth to get the ductwork in place. Not a nice place to be. But they did it all cheerfully and professionally.I found out that installing ductwork is just as much an art as a science. I marveled at the expertise they had installing it in such a way that I wouldn’t bang my head in the basement.It was all extremely labor intensive and required construction work in every room. The guys were very respectful of my home and sensitive to the intrusive nature of the work. They handled all my special requests to the letter and worked like dogs to get a huge job done in only four days. They worked neatly as they went along and did a great job in the final cleanup.It’s not often you can say that you are totally satisfied with something you buy. There’s usually something that isn’t quite right. But Hometown Heating and Cooling made a completely satisfied customer out of me. I highly recommend them. I can finally enjoy the summer heat since I have a cool place to retreat to. Great work guys!!!!!!
