This is like NO other record store I have ever been to. If you are in to the dead, the kinks, pear jam, Ween, Jefferson airplane then this place is for you. I can’t wait to return.

Part of the enjoyment of collecting vinyl records is going to the little mom & pop record shops, digging through the albums, talking music with the owner & customers. If you agree, then this place is for you. Excellent selection of records, new & used. The used vinyl has obviously been screened for condition. I picked up a couple of rare used discs that look and play like theyre brand new. Good competitive prices, knowledgeable owner, killer selection. Wish Id checked this place out sooner.

Well 1st, I want to say the only reason Im not giving a 5 star review is because I rarely do so but if 4.5 was an option I would..this record store has a wonderful selection & Ive purchased vinyl from them that I dont see available in several bigger stores in big cities that are great vinyl cities such as Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Austin..there selection for the square footage of the store is awesome. I read some of the negative reviews that refer to only getting a $1 or $2 & then seeing them for sale for $18, hey thats business..Ive received store credit on vinyl I traded in that maybe Id receive $5 for & see it a week later for $50, but personally if Im done with a record I want someone else to enjoy & support the record stores..& to refer to there shop as a pawn shop, the reality is in a sense to a degree all record stores are, thats business..if you know the industry there simply isnt much of a mark up in new vinyl. There money is to be made thru used & both the gentleman & his wife have always been pleasant with me & are knowledgeable to those who felt they had not been treated fair on trade-inside they had options..

Almost any store that sells LPs is a nice store. But, but ....... The Record Baron indeed is a nice store. And it is a wonderful thing when I find LPs Ive wanted as Ive done there multiple times. Recently theres been a remodel which makes shopping easier than before. Good work!

This Is one Rude dude who is a Low baller! Buys mint records for$1.00 then sells them for $20.00. Thinks he has some gold mine here but it more like a pawn shop. Treats his customers rudely and with disdain. Doesnt know his music either! Stay away from this place unless you want to get ripped off!
